We were caught off guard, as traumatic, and were given a hasty explanation when it occurred. The follow-up communication was poor and at times argumentative. We switched providers for all our children after this experience and are still dealing with the aftermath. This was not the first negative experience with this practice. We should have switched earlier. Dr Morgan also told us on two occasions "that this has never happened in my career". Read the reviews here on google and on Yelp, and you will see a clear pattern of behavior. We rarely give reviews or complain, but we felt compelled after our experience.

I am fine if your policy is "no cleanings without X-rays" but we communicated over the phone before going as well as to the receptionist when we checked in that we were not doing x-rays. The receptionist said she would talk to the doctor and after making us wait 30 minutes finally brought us in. The doctor took a look and said they need x-rays so we aren't doing cleanings today. Sent us back to the receptionist and were charged $300. We communicated several times and should never have been brought in for an exam and charged with them knowing full well we only wanted a cleaning. Will be taking our business elsewhere.

My wife had tried three pediatric dentists in the area, but none had been able to keep him from dissolving into hysterics. When he left for an appointment with Dr. Pamela Hom last week, I feared for the worst. Upon return, however, I was informed that (although he still was scared and it wasn't easy) that Dr. Hom had been able to fill the cavity, and that *they hugged* at the end. When I asked the little guy how he was, he said he still felt funny in his mouth, but that he was OK. I asked my wife how it went, and she laughed a bit. Apparently, Dr. Hom had come into the reception room after it was done and flopped onto the couch. "We got through it, together' she quipped. I truly believe that the first experiences a child has with a dentist cascade for decades throughout their life, and we are so appreciative that Dr. Hom was able to connect with my terrified child enough to let him know that they DO care, they WILL help, and that they will get through it . . . together.
