This is probably my favorite tattoo shop of all time. I got quite a few tattoos here over the years and I was completely satisfied with the work each time. Some tattoo shops can seem a little off putting or pretentious if you are just a casual tattoo aficionado. Not here though. These guys maintain a laid back atmosphere and the tattoo quality is really exceptional. The artists here are consummate professionals, exactly the type of people you want to go to if you're serious about what you put on your body. I'd definitely recommend Immortal Ink if you're interested in getting a tattoo. It's one of those places you should drive out of your way for. read more

I've been going here for years! My dad signed for me when I was 16 to get my first tattoo and I have been hooked... 8 years later I keep coming back here! After hoping around, artists leaving, I finally settled with Chris Adamek who is just awesome. Chris did a half sleeve on me last year and I am extremely satisfied with the finished product. Everyone there is extremely talented and I always have a blast going in there and joining in conversation with everyone! Sanitation is seriously impeccable! I can't even describe how clean this place is, its something you'll just have to take my word for and go and see for yourself. I have never had a bad experience here, never an infection or anything! On average it is about 150$ an hour which may seem steep for some, but really - you get what you pay for!! Its the perfect investment. They just expanded in a new location around the corner from the old shop [same building] and I hear its really nice, so I can't wait to check it out! read more

I discovered this place through a lot research.My only other experience was In Florida . Immortal tattoos has a very nice website. U can easily look up their policy on bellybutton piercing for minors. I recently found out in the state of New Jersey if u are a minor under 18 you must bring a parent or adult to sign paperwork , and you must have the underage child bring a school ID, and an original birth certificate. There is no exceptions! I also had to show my driver's license. Immortal tattoos is located in Flemington, Nj right where the outlet stores are located.. When you first walk in you can see the red walls with different tattoo art work on display.This tattoo shop is very clean and organized. The staff is very friendly and explains their procedure and protocol. You are even given written info on how to properly care for your new piercing. I already had my bellybutton pierced for many yrs and do to surgery I had to take it out and it closed up. John the owner who did our piercings explained that I would probably only need a quick reinsertion. This was great it kept my cost down and I only had to buy a new bellybutton ring. This was my daughter's first time, and she said it didn't even hurt. John was extremely professional. He washed his hands throughly and wore thick gloves. He made the girls one at a time stand up and he precisely measured and marked the area for piercing. He even made sure the markings were placed exactly where they wanted it. We all had a very good experience with Immortal tattoos. I wouldn't hesitate to come back and get another tattoo or maybe another piercing. I would definitely recommend this shop. read more

I'm unsure how no one has ever reviewed this Flemington branch of immortal ink. It's been around for years. I have gotten seven ear piercings done here (4 lobe, 2 cartilage and 1 rook piercing) and NONE of them have ever been infected. They suggest using dial gold soap during healing time (around 3 mo). They were very professional and explained everything they were doing throughout the process. Their needles were sterile, and their studio was very clean. I have to tell myself not to go back every week to get a new piercing. I would recommend that everyone go here for their piercing needs, although I can't speak for tattoos! I refer all of my fiends here because of the great experiences I have had! read more

After much time and energy used for research on portrait tattoo artists, I settled with Chris Adamek. As you can see, he is amazing at what he does. The man oozes talent, and his dedication and regimented process just blew my mind. My idea of what I wanted to portray in this tattoo was surpassed by Chris. He is the only tattoo artist that will touch my skin for now on. Simply brilliant. As for the parlor itself, clean as a whistle. Large and spacious, with sick tracks playing in the background all the time. Everyone in that parlor is talented, friendly, and overall rad people. It's a 4 hour round trip drive for me, and that is not a factor at all when you are working with someone of Chris Adamek's caliber. read more

Got my first tattoo at the Clinton location yesterday. Couldn't be happier with the result! I was nervous to start, but Petey was very professional and made me feel so comfortable the whole time. He also said from the get go that he's been looking forward to doing my tattoo (Star Trek comm badge) all week and even telling his friends about it, so we nerded out a little. He really connects on a personal level with his customers and loves his art, as do all of the artists in there I'm sure. The tattoo is very 3D, even looks like it's giving off a bit of a glare with the shading, exactly what I wanted. I've been thinking about getting a tattoo from here for a long time. I actually came here after a disastrous attempt at a East Side Ink (NY ink place) Anyway. I called in and came in on Wednesday and booked my appointment for that Saturday with Brian Marsman. Let me tell you about Marsman.....he is the man! He was sooooo accommodating and willing with work with me and my design. I like an artist that is like "yo....i'll do whatever you want but this will look better" I can understand that! He's the artist and he knows best so I put trust in him. My favorite part though was when he showed me his design and i was like f yea let's go and he said "wait....i can make this better" who the hell doesn't want that! Phenomenal. We got set up for the tattoo and went for it. It's a pretty big design and he was very careful and constantly checked up on me. The tattoo had a very important sanskrit passage that he wrote fantastically well. On point. We surrounded the whole thing with water and fire. This was all going on my left rib. FYI the ribs freaking hurt, but it's so worth it. Also, another point. I had to take off my shirt so you know....boobs were out. I love the vibe of this place. Super professional and very positive. A lot of the artists came in and out of the room (we had a curtain up but that didn't do too much) and were just literally checking out the tattoo and letting marsman know how awesome of a job he was doing. I love the tattoo and highly recommend Brain Marsman. Especially if you want some awesome line work, color, and script. This man knows his craft. read more

What a great and beautiful shop. I had been searching for an artist for easily close to 2 years. I have some bad ink on my body from being young and stupid and pre-internet when you just went down to the local parlor, picked something off the wall and wait for the pain. After a lot of searching I found Jamie Sawyer and she is really the bomb. I have gotten 2 tattoos from her and am planning on adding 2 more to my body. Each artists has their own little room and if you're getting something done in a private area, they have shades and curtains to close it off so you're not wide open and exposed. Jamie does really solid work, and she works pretty fast, which is nice when you're getting work done on painful areas. I've checked out the portfolio of other artists and they are all amazing. I went with friends to schedule our tattoos. We became unhappy for various reasons with the shop we were going to, so I was on the hunt for a new shop. In the past My stylist highly recommended Immortal Ink. I have been to several tattoo shops, and this one is the most impressive. The shop just moved to their new location (same building, just a larger space). The space is beautiful, clean, and organized. The staff was very friendly and helpful. An Apprentice greeted us and was professional, personable, and knowledgeable. We all got a great vibe from the beginning. The artist that we chose is very talented (Chris Adamek), and busy on the weekends; we booked our appointments in late September & October. Bring cash, you must leave at least a 50% deposit when booking your appointment. As a side not - I have seen Adamek's work on a friend (my stylist). BEAUTIFUL. His portfolio is amazing. He books his own appointments; you must e-mail him. I was unsuccessful in reaching him so I called and the Apprentice advised that we come in. I am getting a large piece on my upper thigh (2 sessions), and my friend will be getting a tattoo on her ankle. Needless to say, we are all looking forward to our sessions. read more

I got my third tattoo done (one was done by Baby John and the other by Chris Adamek) at the Clinton location by the wonderful and talented Jamie Sawyer last week, and it came out perfect! Jamie took a beautiful photo reference and translated it into a spectacular tattoo full of life and color! I got my tattoo on my foot which I often hear is one of the most painful places for tattoo placement. Yes, it was quite painful haha, but she kept me distracted for a good chunk of the time by conversing with my significant other and I. I've been to many tattoo shops around the tri-state and this is definitely a clean one. It is also pretty well known in the area for being good. However, this shop is VERY expensive compared to other shops in the Hunterdon and Somerset county area. I've gotten two tattoos at this shop from two different artists, and while I always get compliments on them, people often tell me I got ripped off for how much I paid. If you want high quality work highly suggest you go here, but there are definitely other shops in the area that will do the same quality work for a lot cheaper. read more

I developed an infection and my cartilage earring got embedded beneath my skin. I went to two doctors and they both told me I needed plastic surgery. My father recommend I go to an expert and he searched for the best piercer in town. Yelp recommended them, our neighbor recommended them, so we then went to immortal ink to see if they would be able to help me out. They took a look at my ear and instantly new what to do! I am so thankful! I have gotten many piercings done at many different places and immortal ink is the best place I have ever been too. The staff are super friendly, entertaining, and at the same time professional. They saved us thousands and thousands of dollars! I learned two things, never get it done at the Jersey Shore and too always go to Immortal Ink and ask for Kevin. If you have never gotten a tattoo this would be the place to come to that will ease your nerves. This was my 14th tattoo and it was done by Brent. I got my tattoo done here 3 years ago and it still is in perfect condition. I was so happy with how the tattoo came out. I had a lot of shading but it only took about an hour to complete my piece. Very happy with the outcome of the tattoo and would definitely go again. t is more like 4.5 stars. I have been coming to Immortal Ink on and off for about 6 years. The shop is super clean and everyone that works there is very friendly. Some people may have a bad conception of a tattoo studio but Immortal Ink is above and beyond. The service is excellent and everyone makes you feel welcome. The new location, which is just upstairs from the old one, is a much larger space. Each artist has their own room but there are large cut outs inside the room to see through. You get a nice feeling of one on one with the artists but also feel like you are not enclosed into one area. I book all my appts with Chris Adamek. Please be sure to check out his website or visit the shop. There are a lot of great pictures of his work. Also, make sure you check out how to make an appointment. He books up pretty quick and usually has about a 2 month wait. But trust me, it is well worth it. Chris takes his time to go over the tattoo with you. He gives you his input and suggestions to make your idea even better. You can tell he really loves what he does. This is a great shop. A tattoo is a HUGE decision. We had a bad experience only because one of the guys who did several piercings on me or a family member decided to try his hand at tattooing!!! My daughter wanted a honeybee to match mine...well her honeybee 10 minutes later and $90 looked like a fly or moth!!! This is an unscrupulous business! I went there with my son (an Army veteran) with a gift certificate. We gave him the gift certificate before he went in the Army and he has returned and would like to use it. But Immortal Ink refused to honor the gift certificate with the claim that it "expired". I explained to the person that my son was in the military and now has the chance to get the tattoo using the gift certificate, but that doesn't matter. They got the money and put an expiration on the certificate so they don't have perform the service in their minds. This is unscrupulous! My $100 didn't expire! This is a classic "Gotcha" scheme from a business owner with no ETHICS! I suggest everyone avoid this tattoo shop as they would rather take advantage of our military and veterans rather than do the right thing! I would give this business "no stars" but Yelp requires a rating. So I'll give 1 star, they were atleast polite whilst picking my pocket and taking advantage of a veteran. read more

About 4 years ago I got my nipples pierced here. Since then, many friends of mine had gotten the same piercing, but at different shops. Almost ever one of my friends had to take out their rings due to infection or failure to heal because they weren't pierced correctly. I have never had any issues with my piercings, and they healed up perfectly. The staff was amazing and the man who did my piercings was very calming and encouraging. I'm only giving them 2 stars in respect of the people that got piercings with me the day that I went. They both got their belly buttons pierced, and when it came time for me to get mine done, it took him FOREVER to find a spot because my belly button was "asymmetrical." There's not a better to way to describe the odor of the piercer other than shit, and he was sweating profusely the entire time because he said he was nervous. He finally pierced my belly button and I could tell already that I didn't like the placement. I left after spending something like 75 dollars just for that, and I can say I'll gladly never be back for a piercing. I got a tattoo here about 2 years ago, I was hoping to get Chris Adamek, since I have been admiring his work for about 4 years now, but he was unavailable at the time. I was tattooed by Bryan and I was happy with the turnout. About a month ago, I contacted Chris and I was able to get an appointment. Yesterday was the day I got tattooed by him. I was nervous about the turnout at first, but Chris is really an amazing and talented artist and my tattoo turned out better then I could ever imagine. I had him tattoo a portrait and it really looks amazing, I couldn't be happier. It didn't take as long as I expected either, Chris is really an all around talented person. I ultimately had a good experience at Immortal. It was a bit weird at first, though. I made an appointment 3 weeks in advance, only to receive a phone call the day before my appointment and be told that the tattoo I wanted was "not doable". Upset and dejected, I told them I would figure something else out. The next day I went in, hoping to at least get my deposit back, only to find that Sideshow Brian had drawn me up an awesome sketch of the very thing I wanted! I went to get my nose pierced at the Clinton Immortal Ink today, and I ended up getting my nose and my second ear piercings done because they were half price! The guy who did my piercings, Brian, was GREAT. He helped me relax and prepared me for the pain and everything, and they look great! he checked with the placement before he actually pierced me, and they look awesome.
