However, she said, disgustedly, how insensitive my crying was and she was surprised I hadn't been asked to leave. Yes, seriously. Our first experience when he wasn't as sick, I wrote positive things. We had to return when his illness progressed and were treated completely different. My tip is, if your loved one is recovering from a broken bone, or similar ailment this place is fine. If your loved one is unable to defend themselves against abusive staff, you do not want to come here. And yes, Andrea was only abusive to me. She was attentive, patient, kind, knowledgeable, and always one step ahead making sure I was comfortable, on schedule with medications, eating properly, resting, and recovering well. She coordinated everything closely with my doctors and made the entire recovery process feel so smooth and stress-free. Nurse Miah also wrote up reminder notes at discharge for when I would need to take medications and ensured that I knew what to do when I get home. She's truly phenomenal and the BEST!!! My stay at the Kimpton Hotel also felt more like a luxury recovery retreat than post-op care. They made sure I always had food, snacks, hydration, and anything else I needed at all times. I truly felt safe, supported, and cared for every minute I was there. You can tell the BHSA team genuinely cares about their patients and goes above and beyond in every possible way.
