The only time we dined in, our pizza took an hour and the manager was rude and impatient with my husband when he asked where our pizza was and could we get it to go, after we had eaten the other food we ordered. He was told "everyone has to wait their turn sir" and accused him of being rude and impatient. We never dined in there again. read more

I'm not from the St Louis area. Grew up north of Boston and spent the last 17 years just outside of Manhattan. So take my recommendation with that in mind. It's not horrible. I've learned I'm not a fan of Provel cheese. Not a fan of squares either. But they deliver and it fits the bill when I want something a bit different. read more

Was always good pizza but.......the help seems their always preoccupied or don't want to there. The salad had old lettuce wasn't real impressive. The pizza was terrible overcooked and dry. I placed a to-go order and didn't receive the sauces and extra sauces I paid for. When I got home, 30 minutes away, I called to let them know. I ordered wings and provel bites. Without the ranch dressing and extra ranch I'd paid for, I really didn't want the food. I went to the store the next day and the owner, Theresa Imo, refused to speak to me about the mistake in my order. She was 10 steps away in the kitchen and made her manager on duty walk back and forth between us both to relay what her answers were. She very kindly refunded me the cost of the missing ranch dressings from my $70 order. Mistakes happen and are forgivable, but horrible customer service from the owner of the business is not. Talk to your customers. Fix the mistake. Owners should take ownership! When your last name is on the sign on the front of the building you should act like you care. read more

I am a huge fan of thin crust pizza.Imo's thin crust pizza is excellent. crispy cracker type crust, interestingly almost sweet tasty sauce and the provel cheese is kinda strange, and very good. This location is one of a few outside STL that is convenient for me. I am a big fan of their meaty toasted ravioli (with pizza sauce for dipping), and their burn-the-roof-of-your-mouth Deluxe Pizza: Bacon (small slices, not bits), Sausage, green peppers, onions etc. Amazing.Their Imo's house dressing ( a sort of creamy italian) is very good too, although I'm not a big fan of plain lettuce with cheese on it for a "salad". So Imo's is definitely a St. Louis thing. If you're from the east coast (as I am), the whole provel cheese thing is just weird. It's good, and my family polished off two pizzas with no problem at all, but it's weird. This location is kind of small but in a good, comfortable way. It probably seats about 50-60. I thought the pizzas were a little on the pricy side, but they were tasty. I don't think pizza should crunch, so I'm biased there, too, but the kids loved it. If they sold beer by the pitcher (or at all, really), I'd probably throw another star up there. I'd go back if someone else really wanted to, but I don't think I'd choose to myself. read more

Imo's is a must have when I come in town to visit with family. Hard to find the ravioli in Florida the way they do in STL! The thin crust allows them to load up their veggie pizza and their cheese choice deserves respect. I'm from out of town but I always make a point of coming to Imo's when I'm in the Midwest. I ordered to go and waited about 30 minutes for my food. The wait wasn't the problem but the person who took my order seemed super distracted. I could see through to the back too. The workers were handling different foods without gloves or hand washing between preparations. I don't know if I'll be going back as my pizza wasn't even hot after my 5 minute drive home. read more

New building, same problems. They increased the size of the space, but only added maybe one or two booths. Other floor space is taken up by a gambling room, which are not in short supply in town. Employees are indifferent and slow, but not rude. All in all will continue to go because it's good food. read more

My fiancé and I went to lunch here today. We ordered and sat down waiting for our food, another party came in 10 minutes after us and they were served their food before ours. We didn't think this was that big of a deal before more happened. We got home and realized our sandwiches had been tossed in buffalo instead of sweet heat sauce. (No big deal right, we will just call and they will remake them). We call and the guy on the phone was very nice and didn't mention that we needed to bring our sandwiches for them to check so we figured they realized they made a mistake. My fiancé and I drive back and he goes in alone. He said when he went in a women insisted that she had put the right sauce on but they would remake them for us "this time". She also was not happy that we didn't bring the sandwiches even though they didn't ask us too. He said she was not talking the way she should be to a customer and it sounded like she was saying that we were lying. We get the meal that we ordered all of the time and were aware by the first bite that it was wrong. We are not the kind of people to waste our time driving back to a place unless our order is actually wrong. When we got home the old sandwiches looked far more red and buffalo like than the new ones (that have more of an orange glazed look) and tasted much different. This was a disappointing visit. We love imos and we're not pleased with our experience today. read more

Do not order from this store. I waited over an hour for a carry out order and I was not the only person. We were given a range of excuses from there were "a lot of tickets" to " the on line ordering time is always inaccurate " only to find out they didn't make the orders. It took a good 10 minutes to get waited on in the first place once we walked in. The person next to me said this happens all the time and they really don't care even if you call.
