Anyway, let's not deviate from the main purpose of the review... This church is amazing! I've attended business-like churches. I've attended outrageously judgmental churches. I've also attended politic consumed churches, none were ever visited a second time and for a period of time I started worshiping from home to avoid the mega churches and corruption. Then one day I drove past this little tiny church with a flooded parking lot. Have you've ever been to a small restaurant with 150 cars? Makes you want to eat there, huh? So I did... Figuratively speaking, I ate there and boy was it good! The first thing I noticed when I walked in were the many, many flags that hung on the wall representing diversity and welcoming all cultures. Next, dress code. There was no pressure of needing expensive suits or dresses to praise. The range of outfits varied from Brooks Brothers to simple linen pants, I loved it! Then I met the pastor and his beautiful wife, they were so honest and caring and humble. You can tell they are God-loving, relatable and genuine people. This goes for the entire congregation that I've met thus far. In a nutshell, if you're looking for a place to worship visit here. If you're already a member elsewhere and in the area during service times, drop in anyway!!

Adult services are held at 9:15 am, 11:15 am, and 4:30 pm. The church is large, and on most Sundays, the 11:15 service has the largest attendance. It is best to get there early to give yourself time to find a seat and take a look around without feeling rushed. There are parking volunteers who will help you find easy parking. When you enter the building there are a number of guest services volunteers who can help you find the environments that you need to visit. If you are a first time guest, don't forget to stop by The Gallery after the service to learn more about the church. If you would like a smaller crowd, try attending the 4:30 service for a more intimate feel. The music is like attending a free concert every Sunday - nice perk! The messages are often timely, relevant and applicable for most people, whether they consider themselves Christian or not. All are truly welcome - there is no insider/outsider culture here. There are great environments for children and young people: Waumba Land is the environment for pre-K and younger children. In this environment, children are in small classrooms with structured activities during the service. The older pre-K children have their own large group environment in which they sing and dance and hear an engaging Bible story by talented volunteer worship leaders who keep the kids laughing and engaged. For the younger kids, the musicians visit their classrooms for singing and dancing, and the volunteers in the classrooms engage the kids in the Bible story. They kids typically make a craft that they can take home to remember what they learned, and trust me - they will be singing those catchy songs for days! My child currently attends Waumba Land, so that is the environment about which I am most familiar. Upstreet is the environment for elementary age children, and Transit is the environment for middle school students. Inside Out is for students in high school. Upstreet is available at all services. Transit is available in the mornings, and Inside Out meets in the evenings. All of the environments provide for large group and small group learning. Adults are encouraged to join community groups, which enables them to also experience a small group environment. The church believes that life is better in circles, rather than rows, and encourages people to connect to a small group in their area of Gwinnett. There are groups for singles and married couples, and they typically meet weekly throughout the county. You can connect to a community group online or through an event called Grouplink. My husband and I have been members of several groups throughout the years, and we highly recommend the experience. It is a great way to grow in your relationship with other people, with your community, and with God. Gwinnett Church has a hastag of its own: #ForGwinnett. That's because Gwinnett Church wants to be known for what it is for, and it is - you guessed it - For Gwinnett! There are many service opportunities available to support the good work being done throughout the county and beyond to help and serve those around us. While the church is best known for participating in the Be Rich service campaign around the holidays each year, service opportunities are available and encouraged throughout the year.

Andy Stanley, the founder, had decided to create a church for people who don't like to go to church. His vision has become reality and he has opened multiple churches across Atlanta. It's incredible to see the amount of support and people that flood in the doors to hear the sermons every week and all the volunteers who gave up their time to make everything run as smoothly as possible from parking in the lot to leaving. They have a fantastic children's area and you are grouped according to what grade level you are. It's so terrific and my daughter actually enjoys going. They always do little activities that help teach them about how to be a Christian. My friend introduced me to this church a couple weeks ago and I was so happy to not have to park a mile away and I was able to find a seat relatively easy. The sermons literally move me. They are so fantastic and come from the heart. Listening to people's experiences helps me remember to be thankful for what I have and want to help others. If you miss a sermon, they can be found online because they record them. It's so wonderful to have that option because sometimes you might not be able to make it for whatever reason. They are opening up another sermon time for the month of August because they are growing. The additional service will be held at 12:45 PM. If you are a new member, you can stop by the new member area and get a really nice mug and get introduced to some of the staff there. They also have some complimentary bites for breakfast. Today they were passing out free donuts! I have to admit I really miss listening to Andy Stanley but the sermons I have heard here are also very good. And I can always catch Andy online!

Men's Day, Usher's Day, Children's Day, Deacon's Day, Pastor's Day, Fund-raising Days, etc. This is not meant to be harsh and I am trying to be very careful with my words as it relates to God's houses of Worship. We are not into celebrating "Days" . Our preference is simplicity... worship and grow with all emphasis, glory and honor to HIM. I grew up Baptist all my life but have been Non-Denominational for many years now. Everyone is different as are our worship styles. This appears to be a thriving church and may appeal to many. They prayed over me took me in when I was unable to get a hold on my money that was blocked by the unbelievers that gang stalked us. I'm still fighting today to have the unbelievers to be caught for they took children and hurt them and put it on display. We are still in the good fight believing we will over come again by the blood. We are trying to bring the satanist/murder to justices ... It's not easy please keep praying for us.

Well, this service was so refreshing and such a blessing! The members are such sweet and beautiful spirits. No pretense to the service. Just worship and the Word. And a great teacher. Pastor Vincent Watson is a great expositor of the Word of God. I enjoyed the Spirit that abides in the House and the people. They have people to assist if you don't know where to go into the sanctuary for service. The sanctuary is huge like a stadium. You could sit up close near the platform, in the middle, on the sides or a the top away. I like to come early so I can select my seating. They do have ushers who will direct you to a seat according to the size of your family or by yourself. They are also friendly and helpful too. The praise and worship is great. Songs originated by their ministry team can be song or songs by popular Christian artists song, but the songs will be rooted in the Word(Bible). I love that pastors or ministers preach the word from the Bible. They have it on the screens for you to follow or you use the You Version Bible app to follow along, which is the best! Communion is given out on first Sunday, but if led to give on another Sunday they will do so. This church is not a religious church, but about a relationship with Jesus. It is non-denominational. When I am on the road for my job I still find great comfort in attending services at unfamiliar churches no matter where I am. We walk together and this is a fundamental Christian principle. As much as I am torn to render a negative review and especially for a "church" but I have to be…read morehonest. I was looking for a church home and visited this church. It was not for me and I will not visit again. It reminded me of a Southern Style church from yesteryears where the church leaders are all Caucasian and the the twenty folks of Color that were there this particular Sunday I visited "Amen'd", laughed, chuckled and went along with everything said. I did not grow up learning that I am a messiah, that I am a savior but that "of course Jesus is the big Savior and Messiah". The pastored also taught that COVID was over played. He said that when it's time for you to go, you'll go! No one had masks on except for me and an older senior woman in the church. Everyone has the right to wear masks if they want to! We should not me shamed in doing so. We've had 6 family members die from COVID and some who survived. This was no laughing matter to me. When people wear masks before we judge we have to understand that some may wear them because they have passed the 5 day quarantine period and may still have a trace (they are protecting you), some have a compromised immune system (cancer, etc) or maybe caregivers for those with compromised health, as well as, just plain trying to avoid the virus for ourselves! The Pastor who I'm sure is kind definitely left a right-wing taste in my mouth. Personally, everyone has their own political persuasion but in church I appreciate hearing what Jesus said and did. Let me say that I feel the pastor and his wife are nice people and genuinely feel that they are helping their "Black" parishioners. I also wished that the pastor had've preached more from the Bible than of his life, life experiences and opinions. This may be the reason that the church was almost empty (only 20 people in a sizable edifice). There was a part in his sermon in which a scripture was posted on the screen. The pastor said he needed to break it down in the Georgia lingo because he knew no one would understand the scripture... I felt very insulted by this as I can read, right, am college educated, corp retired and more importantly The Holy Spirit discerns the Word to every follower just like he does to leaders of the church. More disappointing was that the few people that were in there agreed with everything said... Right or wrong. One more observation... the pastor said that if we ate the way the Bible says we should we'd be healthier. I wholeheartedly agree. But then to say that everyone is on too many pills and he is on pills and herbs to wake up, go to sleep. HBP and more, and is guilty himself left me confused. Lord have mercy. I left before the church service was over with a feeling of emptiness, sadness, unfed and with the feeling that the congregation's purpose was to serve their "Savior" pastor. Please don't get me wrong as I am biracial and have a United Nations family like no other I've seen. I love multicultural churches and have been led by several Caucasian pastors but none of them spoke like this pastor. They preached the Word and did not try to influence us according to their political persuasions. I hate having to leave this review. You may find the service to your personal liking. I cannot recommend it for a growing progressive Christian especially one of Color.

Our Kidz World is a wonderful time where kids learn the word through practical experiences. They will be loved and valued. They are safe at our church. The preaching is life changing.
