They prayed over me took me in when I was unable to get a hold on my money that was blocked by the unbelievers that gang stalked us. Each one made us very uncomfortable either about being a mixed race family or about our different religions. McKendree was incredible! I was able to speak with my children's teachers and explain our home situation and they were so very understanding! They accepted that we wanted our kids to learn about Jesus and still bring different stones to Show and Tell to talk about their properties. My children are loved and accepted, my whole family is loved and accepted. I have never been made to feel "less than" or "strange" by any member of the staff or congregation. At every event, this church goes out of it's way to love the entire community. From free family events and festivals to coffee, lemonade, and cookies to people coming to vote in the election, these people Walk the Walk.
