They have several locations in the DFW area. Neither of us are dancers so we thought it would be a fun time to try something new! For $50 (total), both my fiancé and I received two 30-minute private dance lessons with an instructor. Based on the song we chose, the Dance Studio came up with the dance. For our first session, our instructor was Tre. He was so much fun! He made the lesson super digestible and easy to follow. We had a lot of fun making mistakes along the way, but ultimately was able to pick up the basics by the end of the 30 min session! For our second session, our instructor was Cristina. She was very nice, and added a little extra spunk to our dance routine to make it look more natural, and exciting. By the end of our second 30 minute lesson, we were able to get down the basics of the routine to practice from home. At the end of each lesson the instructors will sit down with you and recap what you've learned. They are truly passionate about dancing, caring, and patient! Depending on your dance skills/level, the instructors will map out a number of set lessons for you prior to your wedding. This can look very different from person to person/couple to couple. They recommended 20 lessons for us (a couple private classes per week), but we ultimately decided we didn't have that much time between work and other commitments to dedicate for a 1 min dance. Additionally, the twenty ~45 min lessons came out to be ~$2K, and we felt like that money could have been used elsewhere in our lives at the moment. However, in addition to paying for the private classes, your tuition will include group dance lessons that you can attend for free. We had a great time, and appreciated the time and effort each instructor gave us!

Truth be told my heart was broken! She constantly danced around the house but she was bored at the other studio! I am so glad she decided to give Studio 3 a chance because she has been so much happier there! In fact so much happier that she is going from one class a week to four this next year and here's why: Studio 3 breaks up their classes into shorter classes so you can build your own perfect class schedule! Instead of only having the choice to start out with a typical hour class of ballet and tap you can build the perfect schedule for your child. In addition the cost is considerably lower than a lot of studios so my daughter doesn't have to pick just one class due to cost!!! For us it has been the perfect balance! My daughter can experience a variety of classes at an affordable cost!! They also offer a performance team for those who are just a bit too young for company! When she danced in Arlington years ago they did a lot of community performances which we loved! After calling around in Plano, many studios reserve all community performances for their company! I love that at Studio 3 there is a choice for those who want to do more performances than one recital per year! Studio 3 has been a gem for us! My daughter is happy and comfortable there! This, coupled with disrespectful jokes and overly critical correction methods, created a hostile learning atmosphere. It's unacceptable for an instructor to justify disrespectful behavior as "part of teaching." Additionally, the instructor's tendency to repeat himself excessively became not only annoying but also detrimental to the learning process. Rather than clarifying instructions, it often led to confusion and frustration. Furthermore, the lack of structure in conducting lessons at the instructor's house was evident and contributed to an overall sense of disorganization. The music was often ready to be played, but there were awkward breaks between the commercials because he didn't pay for streaming service. Also, there were times when he had a connection issue on speaker. In summary, while Z offers flexibility in scheduling and understanding us running late sometimes, the negative aspects of our experience outweigh any potential benefits. We would not recommend it to others, especially those who prioritize a respectful and structured learning environment.

Our family had a great experience with All Out Dance Academy! Our 5 year old granddaughter had…read moreweekly dance lessons all throughout the school year. She really enjoyed going to the studio every week. The grand finale was her 2023 Recital Performance held at McKinney High School this past Saturday morning. There was a check-in table for all the dancers to check in at. Parents were given a "claim check" card so they could retrieve their child after the show. McKinney High School was a great venue, but that'll be a separate review. Turns out they had another recital that started at 12:30. The teachers and staff were very well organized and wonderful with the kids. The program could be found by scanning the QR code! What a great way to cut down on paper and still get all the information to the audience! The program lasted about an hour and a half. They included several fun videos in the program that spotlighted the teachers, some of the dads trying out their child's dance moves and a slideshow of the practices throughout the year. They had a background where pictures could be taken. What a great year of ballet and tap dance she had at All Out and many wonderful memories were made!
