At this point, the pattern is impossible to ignore. First, the ongoing favoritism within the athletics program has become unacceptable. It is widely recognized among parents that the athletic director's children consistently receive trophies, recognition, and opportunities that other hardworking students are denied. This is not a matter of perception--it is a repeated, observable pattern that undermines fairness, morale, and trust. Beyond athletics, the failures in district leadership are even more troubling. The superintendent and his administration have not maintained safe, functional facilities for students. Instead of addressing these issues directly, they continue to lean on a failed bond as an excuse for inaction. Safety concerns raised by parents are minimized or ignored, and the district's response consistently lacks transparency and urgency. Compounding this is the school board's refusal to act. Parents have repeatedly requested leadership changes, including replacing the superintendent and key administrators. The board's inaction sends a clear message: protecting the current administration is a higher priority than protecting students. The district's handling of the recent bond effort further illustrates this disconnect. Rather than engaging the community, listening to concerns, and building trust, the district dismissed parent input and communicated in a condescending, dismissive manner. When the bond failed, leadership blamed the public instead of acknowledging their own failures to engage and inform. Finally, the district's treatment of parents has become increasingly disrespectful. Emails go unanswered, concerns are brushed aside, and public engagement feels performative rather than meaningful. Parents are treated as obstacles instead of partners. This district can and should do better. Our children deserve better. I urge you to take these concerns seriously and begin addressing the systemic issues that have been allowed to persist for far too long.

Ms. Fleming is open to partnering with both our daughter's school teacher and our ideas for topics to cover (e.g. counting money, learning to tell time, etc.) in the lesson plan. Would highly recommend!
