Since moving to Roscommon, MI, three years ago, we have lots of issues. The mail carrier rarely delivers our mail. I have made several complaints to the main USPS office which is the only way to get the local Roscommon office to address the issues we have been having over the last three years. We were even told to get a PO Box but that is $100 a quarter. I spoke with a lawyer and was told that the USPS cannot arbitrarily refuse mail delivery. If you have similar issues, contact the USPS Inspector. We refuse to accept this situation and will continue to file complaints.

The trail itself has two accesses, one is on the map as the red trail or "exit" but is used only residents of my neighborhood of Brooke side. This is due to the car that it leads into the neighborhood with no parking, sidewalk or any street parking just private property. The other is the true entrance for visitors and has gravel parking. The trail is maintained by volunteers and the local scout troops. There's an adorable cabin which is used for educational events, a mirror pond, a public seasonal restroom and 3 miles worth of trails. The trails are very clearly mapped and color coded. Many options and ways to explore it whether you do the entire trail or simple select sections. Easy trail with little to no elevation gain. Tank creek runs through the trail and there are pavilions and wooden boardwalks in the wet areas. Sections of the trail have QR code's to allow for interaction, so bring your phone along so you can learn of the lands history as well as natural facts you pass by. Lots of old growth and I enjoy it in all seasons.
