Traveling several states away from our home gym, we were hoping for a good place to train. Instead, we found a community. From my very first message, Ben was responsive, professional, thoughtful, and genuinely excited to welcome us. He answered every question while we were traveling, and made the entire experience effortless. Walking in, any nerves about being "the drop-ins" disappeared instantly. We were greeted with smiles, introduced around, and treated like we'd been training there all along. Every person we met embodied the kind of culture that makes people fall in love with jiu-jitsu in the first place: humble, encouraging, respectful, and genuinely kind. The instruction was outstanding, the facility was immaculate, and the schedule offered plenty of opportunities to train. But those things, as great as they are, aren't what made this place unforgettable. People did. Thank you to everyone at 10th Planet Bath for opening your doors and making two travelers feel like they had another home gym. We will definitely be back!

Training jiu jitsu with these guys and gals has not only helped me develop my skill on the mats, it's also helped me lose weight, build confidence, improve my mental health, and make new friends I'm proud to surround myself with. I live an hour away from bath ny but I make the drive out for every class because it's worth it! The head coach Ben Gardner is a technician on the mats. Whether you are brand new or a seasoned brown belt looking for a new home, this is the place be! The gym culture here is open, inviting, and supportive. I spent a lot of time in this park growing up because it was so close to my house. In a relatively…read moresmall town like Corning, it had so much to offer me at different stages of my life. It was one of the first places I could bike to when I was old enough to ride beyond my block or skate through with friends and family to take a swim at the public pool. It offered me a route to run around when I was conditioning for volleyball and tennis season. Speaking of tennis, although the courts were rough, I spent many summers out here practicing with my siblings to stay competitive for 4 years of varsity tennis. Beyond high school, I found myself coming back to play tag football or soccer with family in post Thanksgiving dinner tradition, to practice my photography skills by the water, and eventually a place to escape to, with my now-husband, where we would take long walks cutting through the tunnel to Market Street for the sake of getting out. Lots of great memories in this park that always seemed to have something to do at every stage in my life.

They bought an old skating rink and are renovating it as they can. It's coming along very nicely too. They're so much going on here. Learn to play pickleball and get hooked on one of the fastest growing sports in America. There's wolleyball, racquetball, skating, Zumba, cornhole, yoga, Barre, and so much more. They've hosted charity events, birthdays, and holiday parties as well. To me it's a place I always feel welcome.

The front nine is pretty challenging there, while the back nine is a little easier and more straightforward. The course was in great shape except a few dry spots here and there, but it's been a relatively dry summer. I think if I was in the area, I'd play there again. I loved the course, but I'd say the price point is the only thing keeping me from giving it 5 stars.
