We celebrated VDay and my partner's BDay here…read more I have been to a couple of painting parties and they are always fun. This studio has 2 separate rooms like others I have been to and they hold 2 different parties at the same time. I couldn't hear anything going on in the other room. Our teacher was Taylor and she was a lot of fun! She kept our class moving but also took time to answer questions and help out when needed. We did a VDay painting where each of us painted a canvas that is half of the painting. They meet in the middle! This was cute because while some folks had almost perfectly matched up paintings, others had sides that were more unique but still worked perfectly together! We brought in a cake to celebrate his BDay along with some wine. Food and drinks are welcome! I met the other teacher Terri and she does the paint your pet class. You send them your pet's photo and they trace it on the canvas and then you paint it. I really want to do this class! This is a fun date night or girls' (or guys!) night out!

Revival Art House is the perfect shop for any gifts you need or home decor, etc. One of the two owners, Dana, was in the front when I entered and was so patient to answer my questions. She shared that Revival had been open for just over 3 years and sell/display art from over 200 local artists (Louisiana and southern region)! They offer interest free layaway, so if you have your eyes set on something a little over your monthly budget, they work with you to make it yours. Once upon a time, I designed and sold jewelry, and Dana was very encouraging with the idea of me becoming a vendor. She explained that the artists make 60% of their sales while the store gets 40%. Seems reasonable to me, and I'd be proud to have my jewelry on display with all the other local treasures! Overall, I absolutely loved Revival Art House, and along with Berry Town Produce, will likely make a point to stop in every time I'm near Ponchatoula. Beautiful setup in here and reasonable prices (set by the artists). I highly recommend!

My kids and I love this place! My kids do weekly classes and have grown both their knowledge and…read moreskill! They constantly use phrases like shading, contour, & focal points. I, myself have taken advantage of the weekly adult classes and art journaling! I love having time set aside just for me! Add to that enhancing my artistic eye and abilities! We've also had the rare occasion of a PNO & early release classes. My kids have always come home with incredible projects and an earful of how much they loved that days teachers. All the teachers we have experienced are kind and informative when teaching a class. We've experienced FULL classes and smaller classes and I have felt the attention given has been on point every time. So glad we've found a place that has helped up grow artistically
