They needed minor repair and I wasn't sure if they were had any value at all. I brought them by their shop, not knowing if they would even look at them. The ladies were very knowledgeable and able to determine the approximate age of my item. They identified every type of glass used in my pieces. And pointed out a rare and valuable glass used. I learned that their maker was skilled and not a novice hobbyist. Still, I'm thinking... the pair had seen its better days. I was interested in selling the pair for what I thought was a good price, when the owner said she would buy them as is for more than my offer. She also explained, her intentions were to repair and refurbished them then sell them in her window for an even higher price. She gave me the option for the shop to repair them, (at a very low cost) and try to sell them myself at retail value in my online shop. Note: ACTUAL RETAIL VALUE WAS 10x GREATER THAN I EXPECTED. In addition to it all, the offer still stood for them to be purchased by the shop and be resold in the window if I was unable to sell them online. I give 5 STARS FOR EVERY CATEGORY BUSINESS COULD BE CONDUCTED!!! The staff was friendly, knowledgeable, courteous, informative. Shop is clean, inviting, and uniquely charming.

She shared that Revival had been open for just over 3 years and sell/display art from over 200 local artists (Louisiana and southern region)! They offer interest free layaway, so if you have your eyes set on something a little over your monthly budget, they work with you to make it yours. Once upon a time, I designed and sold jewelry, and Dana was very encouraging with the idea of me becoming a vendor. She explained that the artists make 60% of their sales while the store gets 40%. Seems reasonable to me, and I'd be proud to have my jewelry on display with all the other local treasures! Overall, I absolutely loved Revival Art House, and along with Berry Town Produce, will likely make a point to stop in every time I'm near Ponchatoula. This included all supplies except a tumbler. I brought my own tumbler from home. They also have tumblers for purchase. The owners are very helpful and knowledgeable of each project. The Makery also sells tie dye outfits, hair bows, key chains, face glitter and earrings. They also have their own line of glitter and it's spectacular. This is a great place to work on your own craft projects or you can choose one of the shop's many projects to make. They host kid's birthday parties, ladies' nights out and bridal showers. The artist Danielle was professional and entertaining while teaching the class how to paint on canvas. She provided step by step instructions that were easy to follow.
