After extensive search, thankfully i found Pablo who was able to perform this service for a very reasonable flat fee. I placed the inquiry on yelp and was able to book next day service. Pablo showed up on time, did and excelled job refitting the sink, and fixing it in place with a strong bracing system to make sure it doesn't come loose again. He cleaned the moldy old caulking and resealed the sink and made sure he left the job site clean. Real professional work and great and easy communication. I am very satisfied and recommend his services.

Not a fan. Pablo cut granite for a bar top that we had build as a custom project. The top of the…read morebar had 2 pieces and the seam shows significantly. He also cut the sink opening 1/4 of an inch too big. He recommended a plumber/tile guy who he frequently works with who we used to install the sink. When he asked Pablo to come back and trim down the sink opening he refused unless we paid him an additional charge. Also one end of the top of our bar is rounded and the other end is square. Pablo spouts all this crap about wanting to make the customer happy but when it comes to standing behind his work, he doesn't practice what he preaches!!!! I do not recommend The Master. More like the Master of Disaster!!

To sum up the experience I was constantly lied to by the contractor (Blake Fox) regarding everything from his expertise (supposedly bathrooms and his partner is the kitchen expert) to work that was and was not completed correctly as part of the job. Over the past two years I have since found additional issues from material that was supposed to be removed from a crawl space to a plumbing leak that was supposed to be repaired during the remodel by LKN that was clearly disregarded during the rehab process. This issue was actually brought up during construction by one of their "3rd party contractors" when I asked why the water running to my new sinks were shut off. I called Blake regarding the issue noting his plumber told me there was a leak and he informed me that the plumber was incorrect and referring to another property and he turned the water lines back on without checking the leak he supposedly fixed in the crawl space. During my own inspection of the crawl space it appears that the leak they supposedly repaired still exists and has been leaking for the past two years. There is a laundry list of mishaps that took place throughout the process (listed below) where it became very clear that we were not dealing with professionals nor a company that was actually concerned with customer satisfaction. -Cabinet's that weren't installed correctly and fell apart -Incorrect cabinet doors ordered that we had to wait over six months post project completion to be delivered only for Blake to show up with the incorrect doors and have to re-order. To make matters worse, Blake claimed that he incorrectly charged us for the wrong size doors and we had to pay out additional funds. -Main faucet connection coming apart which required one of his "contractors" to come back out and repair. -Correctly dismantling and removing (all of which was paid for) duct-work related to a ventilation system they removed as part of the job which Blake lied to me about multiple times in regard to its removal. I ended up having to go down into my crawl space to remove myself and pay for disposal. A couple takeaways from working with LKN. Blake show up and introduced himself as the "bathroom" guy but could provide a quote and his partner was the "kitchen" guy who we would be working with throughout the project which never actually happened. LKN did not appear to have its own crews but actually was just hiring local companies we could've called ourselves. This became an issue as I felt that I ended up becoming the GC and acted as an intermediary between the "contractors" and Blake when something went wrong. The overall experience was far below average and after working with competent GC's while rehabbing our home over the past two years really highlighted the poor choice we made in rushing into a contract with LKN. I am more than happy to personally share my experience with anyone contemplating (respond to this review) using LKN to include allowing them to physically inspect the finished product in our home.

They installed the faucet incorrectly and the drawer would not close because it hit the drain pipe. Which was never an issue in the thirty years we lived in the house. Notified Fireplace & Granite immediately and sent photos and then a video they requested because they were too busy to come see the issue. Days went by with no response. We ended up hiring a plumber to adjust the faucet drain pipe. Our salesman (Travis) instructed us to pay the bill and said they would send a check to cover the repairs. Then nothing but excuses when we asked about the refund. "Only the owner can sign checks and he's on vacation. He will send a check when he get's back in town." Months later and still and no reimbursement. Now they don't bother replying to inquiries. Buyer beware.

They've lied to me and cheated me out of my hard earned money…read more I ordered 500 sq. ft of Bruce, high gloss finish, hardwood flooring from these people March 31, 2015, to tie in with my existing floor. I first spoke with the owner, Andrew who told me he'd meet or beat Lowe's prices (1st lie) then he turned me over to his salesperson, Debra. She quoted me $3.29 sq. ft. for a satin finish, $4.65 for high gloss. I ordered high gloss, which is what I already have in my home. After the flooring was half installed, I could see the finish was satin. I called Above Board Flooring immediately, told them I didn't expect the hardwood to be torn up and replaced but I did expect to be given the $1.26 difference in price they up charged me for high gloss. They refuse to take repsonsibility, putting all the blame on Debra, who convienently doesn't work for them any more! I sat with Debra, in her office when she called Bruce directly on March 30, and inquired about the high gloss finish, and they assured her they could do it. I have my original receipt showing that 9 years previously I had ordered high gloss finish, Bruce flooring and now Above Board Flooring is trying to tell me Bruce never made a high gloss. They are refusing to give me the $1.26 per sq. ft I was upcharged for the high gloss finish and offered me only .40 cents per sq. ft. I've been told over the phone by both Andrew (owner) and Netta (receptionist in their Pineville location) 3 different times that Mark Bishop, the salesperson who took over for Debra, would be contacting me. That hasn't happned and I've received no refund. My installation was in mid June. I think they're taking advantage of this senior citizen.
