The reason for this is simple: she used a different insurer for over 30 years and they upped her premium by $600+/yr. No accidents, citations, nothing! Some good neighbor! So I visited GEICO office right round the corner from our home, barely a mile away. Let's just say these folks are a better neighbor for all that happened. We were greeted and served straightaway by Wanda R. who was a pleasant enough lady. She plugged in all my wife's info into their system, asked questions and explored options for discounts, etc. So after all that business going back and forth w. the computer and my own GEICO app...voila. The Queen Bee is now saving $900 a year for the same amount of coverage, or $75/mo. All this stuff adds up and since it never had been easy since the Rona, it only makes sense, friends! Office has its own cute little building on US 19 northbound service road just north of Belleair Rd. Inside is no real big deal one way or the other. It's an insurance office, so don't expect popcorn and balloons anyway. The associates all seem to have their own desks decorated and homey looking, so I'm sure that's a good clue as to how they run the place. All in all, I now believe I'm validated in my auto insurance choices since getting here to the Sunshine State several years back. Thankfully no claims thus far, and here's hoping it stays that way. Either way, these folks offered good, straightforward service in a timely manner. That's one thing I'd never expect from insurance brokers!

Took on average 2 hours just to get through to a person each time I called and they were pretty much useless when I did get them on the phone. Garbage customer service 10/10 do not recommend using geico.

You can reach out to them days later and they will tell you it'll be 2 days and then when you call on the 2nd day they'll tell you it'll take 5 days till they even LOOK at your car. AAA membership benefit? Even the manager thinks this is a good way to run his shop. Unbelievable for a shop to run this badly and carry the AAA name. Remember it's just a franchise so it can sound like a place you can trust but DONT. So far it's days now and my car is still sitting in their parking lot over night for days and still hasn't been looked at.

I told him that I did not want to pursue employment with his firm beyond the 1 day I worked for him and requested he pay me for my time. He then informed me that he decided he was not going to pay me for bathroom breaks, and he was also going to charge me for a background check. I would not do business with this guy if you paid me. He is unprofessional.

I finally had it with the regular increases from Allstate and found better rates and excellent customer service with the Pam Leonard-Williams group. Every time I had a question or an issue they were pleasant, helpful, and always called me back right away. The rates are better here and the length of time that a previous fender-bender incident (very small!) remains on our policy is 2 years less than at Allstate! However, I started noticing that every time I called for any questions or issues, I couldn't always get an answer right away or didn't receive a call back as promised. The final straw was when I received my renewal bill a few months back. Suddenly I was being charged $30/month more for no obvious reason, as I had not had any tickets, accidents or vehicle changes to cause an increase. I called to ask what was going on. The man I spoke with assured me it was because some discounts had "fallen off" my policy and he would work to get it straightened out, then call me back when it was done. I didn't receive a call back from him. I tried calling multiple times and couldn't get an answer from anyone. Finally, out of frustration I called and asked to speak with the office leader. She reviewed my file and said that the increase was actually due to "general rate hikes across the board" and had nothing to do with my discounts. I asked her what she could do to retain my business. She suggested lowering my coverage so the premium would drop. My coverage wasn't even that high to begin with. As someone who used to work in a different car insurance agency, I would never suggest someone lower their coverage as a first option. I was really surprised that's all they had to offer. They didn't really seem to concerned about my sudden rate hike. I started shopping around and found a quote with Geico. They offered me the exact same coverage I've always carried for 50 BUCKS a month LESS. Guess who's got my business now.....
