He's okay ... he just rushes during the piercing because of the bogo sales he has which makes him hurry , get you in and out . He wiped the area down and immediately pierced me I don't even think he said "deep breathe in"to prepare me I wasn't ready at all ... all my piercings got infected and I had them 3 years plus . I got his approval that they were healed , one completely closed when the jewelry came out and I woke up to put it back in .. immediately in and it wouldn't go it what so ever !! . Went to the establishment today looking for a simple piece of nose jewelry as mine recently fell out. My gauge is still the standard, and I have had the piercing for 12 years, a fact I shared with the girl at the front desk. All I needed was a piece of jewelry. The owner, however, made me wait a total of 14 minutes, after asking a number of non relevant questions. "No, you did not pierce my nose. It was done 12 years ago in Arizona. No, it's only been out overnight. Yes, I just need a replacement. No, I cannot wait." Who the hell makes such a big deal out of replacing a piece of jewelry? Jerks. Everything is very clean here and the piercer is amazing. I had issues with my first dermal piercing that I didn't get done here but I haven't had any issues with the ones I got here from James. After this amazing experience for a great price, I will never go anywhere else for piercings. read more

I got my industrial pierced here along with two nose piercings and a tongue piercing and all those times were decent (besides how shady James seemed to me), but it was all okaaay until i got my bellybutton pierced here. He used the wrong jewelry, it had a very bulky ball at the bottom and small ball at the top and since i never had this done i obviously didnt realize this wasnt normal fresh piercing jewelry. Basically I was uncomfortable for months. It was very painful after showering. For months. It migrated and rejected and every time it progressed in healing, all it took was standing up too fast, hugs, or a shower to cause painful shocks through my stomach. I waited a long time thinking it was me doing something wrong until it got too thin about 7 months after the piercing, i took it out because it was just too stressful of an experience for my body. A few months after this my friend got her bellybutton pierced and i noticed my jewelry was supposed to be way smaller than what it was and she continues to do perfectly fine with hers. she went to Hardcore Tattoo. They looked kinda dirty in my opinion but at least her piercing is healed and fine. I on the other hand have a nickel size keloid scar on my belly and probably cant ever get it redone. I plan on getting a tattoo of a triangle around it so i feel less insecure about it. basically if you get pierced... either dont do it here or dont get your bellybutton done here because they aren't the updated type. read more

Walked in (after calling) to get my nose pierced- and the piercer, James, was very cold and almost rude looking at me like "why are you here". They didn't do a good job of making you feel comfortable at all. He led me to the room, didn't even count down or show me what the jewelry looked like, and just shoved the needle through my nose DESPITE me saying "hold on one second", and then told us to get out of the room. All of the info he gave me as to how to clean the area was very vague and it wasn't after I gave him a $30 tip he even smiled. Basically- if you're nervous or if it's your first piercing- DON'T GO HERE. I've had numerous piercings done in other studios and have never been treated so coldly before. read more

This place is definitely a "get what you paid for" type place. I went in to get my second holes pierced. The price is an absolute steal ($35 for both holes!!), but again, you get what you pay for. There's no options, you just get pierced with a basic ring. James is an interesting former-emo-band type guy and very soft spoken, but I just wanted my second holes done for cheap so it's all good. If you're looking for fancy jewelry and lots of options, then go somewhere else where it's more than $25 a piercing because that's just not what this place is. It's decently clean and good enough for simple piercings where you know you'll want to change out the jewelry pretty quickly anyways. But again, don't go here if you want all the bells and whistles. That's going to cost way more than $25 a piercing. Anything more intricate, I probably wouldn't go here just because of the healing time and inability to change jewelry quickly and easily. read more

Was not clean at all and the jewelry came out of what looked like a fishing tackle box, which would be the reason he did not let me look at options and pick what I wanted in my ears. James is the only piercer there, was rude and unprofessional. I would not recommend going there as it was not sterile and you certainly get what you pay for. The place was clean and sterile, however, I went in to get a naval piercing (because $25 is a great deal) and my piercing was ABOVE my actual naval. It was like a dermal anchor with no anchor. The employees that I encountered were pleasant, but due to my piercing placement I consulted another piercer who told me to take it out immediately. read more

Came here with a friend in January for their bogo piercing sale. 2 forward helix piercings for $25? Not bad at all! I was kinda skeptical about this place since the price was so good, but James was so great with us! My piercings looked awesome and he seemed very knowledgeable about what would work best with the shape of my ear. Now let's fast forward 2 months later. (Insert cheesy fast forward squiggly sounds) Due to my piercing constantly coming into battle with my 9 month old, it became sore and swollen. The front of my labret popped off and was nowhere to be found! I called James up and he said to stop in anytime and he would take care of me. I came in tonight and true to his word he swapped out the labret in my very tender ear. I kid you not I didn't even know when he did it! (No pain!) He inserted a longer bar for the swelling and gave me extra incase the front comes off again. To make this story better he didn't even charge me. THAT is how to treat your customers! I absolutely love piercings and tattoos. I have been to various places for piercings and tattoos such as Cowpok and The Parlour of Buffalo--both of which are wonderful, clean places I had great experiences with. Last Saturday, my girlfriends and I decided to get piercings. We first went to Cowpok where I got my nose pierced and my friend Katie got her belly button pierced. It was clean, the workers were friendly, and there was an immense amount of good quality jewelry to choose from. We then drove to Imperial Arts Studios on Sheridan Dr. so my other friends could get their piercings. I was still itching for another piercing so I decided to get my lower naval pierced. I regret doing so--not because I dislike my piercing, but because I dislike the studio of which I got it pierced from. Walking into the studio is a big, empty room. When we walked in the door, there was no one sitting at the front desk so we stood there. Finally, a man named James, whom does all of the piercings, came to the front desk. He did not smile, he was rude (might just be his personality) and seemed annoyed to have so many girls in for piercings. What I disliked most about the experience is that you do not get to pick your own jewelry. He just pierces you and then gives you the same cheap silver jewelry he gives everyone else. My guess is the jewelry is bought cheap in bulk online. Another issue is that he does not clean the area he is piercing before he pierces it. He does not give you directions on how long to keep the earring in, either. Two of my friends got their ear lobes pierced and I have never seen someone's ear bleed more from a piercing than those two did. I have multiple earlobe piercings and not once did mine bleed from getting them pierced. Their ears were literally dripping blood for more than 20 minutes--NOT EXAGGERATING. The problem with my piercing is the jewelry he used for it. Instead of using a regular two-ball belly ring, he used a hoop that is used for a cartilage piercing. Since it is a hoop (which I didn't want in the first place) it sticks out of my stomach and presses against the waistline of my pants. It is red and irritated because it rubs up against my pants and I'm worried it will not heal correctly and I'm pretty pissed off about it. Also, it just looks stupid. I don't recommend this place for piercings. I'm not sure what they're like regarding tattoos, but it's definitely not worth it to come here for piercings. Every piercing is only $25.00 cash but it makes sense why this place is so cheap--it's shit. read more
