AVOID THIS PLACE!! Ignore the owners reviews!…read more I came here about six months ago for PPE, ceramic coating, and taillight tint. I should have written this soon as I've been told this location has issues. I had to make a couple trips as the PPE came off on the mirrors and they were out of taillight tint the first visit. After about a month the taillight tint peeled off because they applied it during a rain storm and it did not adhere. That was a waste of $150 and more as I ordered tint and did it myself. The worst part is once the weather cleared and I was able to detail the car myself. I noticed that the wheels and the lower trim had permanent swirl marks in dirt. Apparently they didn't clean the wheels or the lower areas before applying the ceramic coating.. Now it won't come off. I asked for a refund, but after responding with details I was ignored by the owner.

He is completely unreliable and incompetent but in his defense I truly believe he is completely unaware of these flaws. I agreed to meet with him on Friday to leave my truck with him but unfortunately he wasn't there and after I called him numerous times he finally answered and admitted that his alarm clock did not go off and that he would be there in 30 minutes... When he finally got there, we agreed that I would leave my truck with him on Friday and that I would pick it up on Saturday afternoon which would give him enough time to apply the ceramic coating on my vehicle. So the next day, despite me not being able to get a hold of him I decided to go ahead and take an Uber for the 45 min drive to get my truck back. Right before I arrived he finally responded and he unbelievably told me to stop calling so much! Really!? As the Uber dropped me off I was stunned to see that my truck had not moved from where I parked it the day before and that no work had been done! I ended up having to wait outside for over 45 minutes until he got back to give me my key fob. He then tried to say he texted me to let me know that he didn't have a certain towel that was needed for the process and that he needed me to leave my Jeep with him for another day or so haha. I don't have two vehicles, so unfortunately I couldn't do that not to mention that I spent over 100 bucks on Uber and lost hours of my time that I can get back. To his credit, he did offer to pay for the Uber charges IF I came back another day to get the ceramic done, but I told him that has proven to be so unreliable that I simply good good couldn't risk it. In short, despite their high ratings....stay away from this place because it's apparently being run by some kid who has no concept of ethics, time management, or any business sense whatsoever from what I can see.

Terrible customer service and very unprofessional…read more The one star is coming from a very simple tenet in business: don't ignore your customers. The appointment I had was with an individual that was not very professional. I had an appointment for 10 AM on Saturday. I arrived promptly at 9:58 AM. Keep in mind that the text that they send out the day before says get there 15 minutes early. I purposely did NOT get there 15 minutes early because I read other reviews where customers had to wait. This was a good move on my part, because as expected, we had to wait even though I was there on time (slightly early actually). The garage where the shop is located was not even open. The craziest part is that the individual who was able to open the shop with sitting in his truck, the entire time sitting amongst cars that were pulling up, ready for their appointments. At around 10:02 AM he finally got out of his truck and opened his garage, I was very surprised that he was there the entire time actually parked in front of me and just waited in his car. He didn't even acknowledge the fact that there were people there for a 10 AM appointment and he hadn't even open the garage yet until after 10. Maybe he isn't aware that the instructions tell people to get there 15 min early, I don't know. Then he proceeded to service the customers that were there before us which is totally fine. But the reality is I did have a 10 AM appointment and I was on time and I was not acknowledged or spoken to the entire time, and they definitely saw me. On numerous occasions, they walked past me did not even say anything at all. Normal customer service is to say that they will be right with you or thank you for patience or something. There was absolutely NO acknowledgment whatsoever. He didn't stop to ask if we had an appointment or anything, he just walked past us and continued talking to the other customers. Also.. the bigger question is.. why did they double book? Assuming the other party also had a 10 AM appointment. If they didn't have an appt, this is even worse becuase they ignored the customers who actually made an appointment. Either way it is terrible customer service. So ultimately, I left. I refuse to give business to a company that does not respect my time, for them to see me and other customers, waiting and still stay in their truck and then on top of that for them to not even acknowledge me once they finally open, the shop is totally unacceptable. Also I was lingering around there for about 10-15 min hoping to be spoken to and then I thought to myself.. if they won't provide good customer service before getting my car, then they don't deserve to touch my car. I refuse to give them business. I will say that the person who scheduled my appointment Bridget was super nice when I spoke to her so maybe it would have been better if she was there but regardless they need to be held accountable for how appointments are on Saturdays.

I honestly feel a bit guilty not rating 5 stars but here's the small ticky-tack reasons for my rating: I'd of preferred that my brand new vehicles's wheels were removed for full coating of the rims. I also would have liked my car to be debadged and then coated and cured before badges were replaced. But my man was completely upfront about the fact he doesn't remove things at all from a car to coat it and I get his reasons why. I also don't know if anybody does this, but still something I'd of preferred. Again very minor but there was small amounts of glue residue from the sea pack protection on my new car. Apparently it was mistaken as the edge of PPF so instead of removing it the tiny lines were immortalized on my door frame by being coated. And my last minor gripe was that I was sent out into a rain storm because they had another customer lined up. Granted it had been nearly 24hrs so probably was within product guidelines but would have been nice if there were no question the cure was complete before driving home in rain. In the end I highly recommend getting your car coated here despite my tiny problems. Very professional, explained everything great and even dealt with my questions about the small things I mentioned well after I'd picked up my vehicle. No question had I brought my car back they'd of helped remove the adhesive for example. Recommended them to somebody at work just this week.

Got scammed out of $400…read more Stefano Giovanni contacted me on FB after this and offered a refund if I take down the reviews, then proceeded to block me. They operate under Onyx Protective Coating now. I contacted Ceramic Guyz based on a FB ad, told them I needed a paint correction to remove some light swirls and water spots on my black Tesla. They assured me they had worked on 100s of black Teslas. I was told a paint correction was 'minimum 2 steps' and 'always' clay bar first. Sounded good, so I paid a $100 deposit to hold the spot. The day of the appointment, Stefano sent his son who spent a grand total of 2-2.5 hours on the car. I didn't think much of it and it was overcast that day so I couldn't see it in the sun. I went ahead and paid the full $400 with a promise of a refund of the deposit 'hold'. Only after reviewing my driveway camera video I noticed that there was no clay bar and only a single stage polish. The next day in the sun it was obvious that where were still lots of light swirls in the paint (maybe even more than before), and I called Stefano. He assured me he would come back by with his son, take a look, and redo the job. Almost two months have gone by and I've gotten excuse after excuse and ultimately just ghosted me. I even reached out to his son who said he is no longer working with Stefano and has moved out of state. I am pretty sure this business is a scam operating under multiple umbrellas because on Facebook their name has changed to Onyx Protective Technologies with a disconnected number. Bottom line - if you care about your car and know anything about detailing, stay away from Stefano and Ceramic Guyz. i bet half the reviews here are fake. Screenshots and videos as proof.

JC and them did a phenomenal job. His attention to detail and knowledge is amazing. Get information from him and then compare to other places. Other detailers ignorance is astounding, and it will anger you that you've been washing your car wrong this entire time. Especially when I take mine into service and ask how they wash. They just were not taught how to wash. JC and his guys will tell you how to maintain, care, and beautify it for years to come. He won't upsell you and wont overcharge. You can tell that the team's heart and soul is in every car. But there should never be a question about whether to go or not. Merely when. It is more than a regular "detail" shop. I researched everything online from C-Quartz, Modesta, Paint Correction, Wraps...you name it. Needless to say it can be confusing, frustrating and overwhelming with all of the different products available on the market. Then, I came across Jean-Claude with DD Auto Spa and thank goodness I did. I met him at his shop one afternoon and he explained all of my options and the pros and cons of each. Since I had done so much research, he was extremely patient and forthcoming with his recommendations, but never ever pushed anything on me. After some time to absorb after our initial meeting, I decided going for the full car coverage of XPEL Stealth Film. Now, while it may cost more up front, it was worth the investment knowing I will hold on to this car long-term and this was the most protective, yet least maintenance option and gave me the look I was going for. Initially it was estimated 5 full days for install, but after they started tearing down and installing the first panels, it ended up taking another week, but JC kept me up to speed with his daily progress and was always in constant contact. While that could be upsetting for some, to me it said that this is a person who is not rushing through just to get paid and move onto their next job. When he does it, he does it right and will NOT compromise quality for quantity. Truly hard to find that type of dedication these days. When I picked up my car today, we went over every part meticulously. JC pointed out spots that contained some pockets of air, but that they should work themselves out while the film settles in. We scheduled a follow up call a few weeks out to assess any concerns or areas that may need attention.
