I previously worked at this school (and many other schools in the area). And Mr. Moran is my favorite teacher I have met. He is amazing with the students, I have never seen him yell or be anything but appropriate in the 6 years I have known him. He us straight forward, if you don't like the cold hard truth you won't like him either. He won't sugar coat things for the sensitive. It is really that simple. There are some parents that have unrealistic expectations of people, and resort to slander when they do not get their way. I am most certain I know who the person is that keeps making new profiles and slandering an amazing teacher. And it is of no surprise to me she stoops to this level. As for the other review, there are 3 to 4 staff on the playground at any given time, to watch 100 to 200 students at a time. I am a parent volunteer and rarely see (there are a few others here regularly) parents volunteering on the playground. Come on out at lunchtime. I guarantee you that within a few minutes no less than 10 students will run up to you saying teacher teacher, she pushed me, he took my ball, she kicked me, he hit me, and on and on. Seriously, come on out and be additional eyes. Until then, you are creating more of a problem. Bayside is an amazing school, staff that truly care about the students and their education.

He is what made change in this school, and I think every principal should take his examples and use them for themselves. Such as, letting students play baseball. Mrs.Ochoa banned the privilege to play baseball because "there's too many injuries." In my opinion I think if the kids can't play baseball then they should not play soccer. I think this because if there's injuries in baseball then there needs to be fair action. Because three people were wheel chaired of because of injuries. They also banned hot chips! I think this is going to far. Students should have fun in school. Not skipping because staff and other students. I do also think that there is only about three teachers all students respect. They communicate well and they help you help your child by sharing their strengths as well as the areas where they may need a little more help. The office staff Ms Suzanne and Ms Debbie are so helpful with children and parents . They know so many kids by name . The principal walks around and takes time to say hello and smile and talk to you . Everyone who works there makes sure our kids are safe and do their best to communicate with parents through class dojo or email . I know that when I drive away that my daughter will be safe . The after school program is great positive vibes Mr Juan and his staff are nice people and they communicate well . They have extra curricular activities like art Mrs C does some very nice art projects and the board games is super fun . As well as music class . There's also Spanish and chess and things like that and science . The people that help at the crosswalk to keep kids safe are great!
