I own a Catering Party Planning company and have been using Imperial for years. They always came through for me. The past three times have not been good. Yes, I know, but I give everyone a second chance. I should have left them at two. Here is the scenario of a wedding that has been booked for months at Oleta River park. All I ordered was a 10x10 white tent, 4- 6ft tables with spandex table cloths ( because of the wind) and 30 white padded folding chairs. The day before at 3pm I was informed that the spandex cloths were not available. I worked with them and asked for the largest they had so I can tuck them under the legs so they wouldn't blow around. I had to spend an extra $20 for table clip because they didn't have them. The morning of the wedding the bride calls and said the chairs were very dirty. The delivery person put up the tent and it was so dirty under and on top. There were bird droppings and dirt on a white tent. I called the emergency number and spoke with a most rude unprofessional man. He told me that it was impossible that the chairs were dirty. He argued and yelled at me on the phone. I had to send pictures because he didn't believe me. I sent pictures and was informed that he was sending someone to clean everything in 45 minutes. Never saw that person. They came 2 minutes before the wedding with others chairs that were just as dirty. I had already had my staff bleach what they could. This is why we rent, so we don't have to clean. I asked the rude man for his name and his reply was WHY? I said, " I like to know who I am speaking to. He replied Mike which I knew he was making up. Needless to say, Do not use Imperial for anything. It is a waste of money. i could have bought new and been very satisfied. We had another company scheduled to provide a tent for our event and they stopped communicating three weeks before our event. I was referred to Imperial Event Rentals and had the great fortune of speaking with Lauren on my first call. Within hours she sent me a quote and the next day we had a signed agreement. Lauren was responsive and very professional. The delivery was scheduled and we received constant communication regarding the arrival time. The drivers came as scheduled and set up our tent. The product was fantastic, the service was amazing. The morning after the event they came and cleaned everything up. Our experience was great. It was actually a stroke of good luck that the other vendor backed out. Thank you for making a difficult situation turn into an excellent experience. As a wedding planner and ordained minister, finding the right party rental company is vital. I contacted Imperial Party Rentals because of their Victorian style rentals. The wedding was a steampunk theme and we needed everything to be perfect. We ordered the Victorian seating, light oak dance floor, and the Bemgali table linens. Everything arrived on time, was packaged neatly, and had no flaws. Everything was in excellent condition. We did have a little difficulty at first with ordering, but it was due to the time it took to find what we were looking for. I contacted customer service and they were very friendly and helped us choose exactly what we needed. The couple was thrilled and I was thankful for the professionalism and promptness of the company.
