We all felt we failed, but we laughed and had fun epically failing! We were ages 30-58. You don't need experience to take the class at all, but I will warn you that you'll leave sore! Last night, we celebrated my best friend's Bachelorette party and it was so much fun. Booking with Sarah was so easy and communication was amazing. We got to make our own Playlist, they had a money gun, some decorations and champagne waiting for us after. We dressed as old ladies and had a blast. Samantha the instructor was so nice and helpful. Samantha was respectful and there to answer any questions and her personality is awesome. I recommend this place to any and everyone. I've been attempting classes here since November 2019. I wanted to improve my fitness and then get more comfortable with my sexy side. So far, my confidence has gone up! Also my cardio, fitness, strength and my ability to follow choreographed routines have improved. I'm. Wet haply and proud of myself. I have a bad right shoulder which is also my dominant arm however the routines and skills learned address working on both your left side and your side! That's a plus! There are a variety of classes for beginners, advanced and mixed levels. Classes are almost every day. You can book private classes/party classes. There are memberships and also pay as you go (drop in) classes. I am in the drop in classes for now. I prefer the ground work classes due to my right shoulder. It's less actual time on the pole while still getting all that core and full body exercise. I am always sweating from start to finish in the classes! No complaints! It's a fun and no judgement atmosphere which is important to me for attending continued classes. The chosen dance songs and routines are current. The rooms are clean and it's a sanitary environment. A bathroom is available. They do sell a limited supply of heels and booty shorts. All my instructors have skills!!! They're very sociable, patient and passionate about dance. I love going! read more

I bought the gift card for 2 drop in visits for $35 on their website, finally decided to do it with a friend whom recommended it. The studio is quaint and intimate. This place can be hard to find- its located in the Winthrop plaza. You have to drive in front of the parking lot where there is the Florida Medical Clinic, go inside as if you were going to the clinic, go to the second floor, make a turn into the Florida medical clinic area and go down the hall to suite 225 where you will see the door decorated in frill and dots. The poles are spinning poles which make some of the moves easier to accomplish. Love Jeannie, shes such a compassionate, warm and welcoming instructor and truly cares about your progress in the class. My first class was with Ally whom is a sweetheart and a very talented instructor. This activity is HARD but a lot of fun and worth a try for those seeking a new fitness routine, girls day out or learning a new skill. I had to modify all of the moves due to physical injuries but still had a great time. The class moves pretty quickly with little to no one-on-one time with the instructors. The groups consisted of mixed age ranges and levels and the instructors are very motivating and inspiring to help you get through each routine. When booking your classes especially if you are a beginner you can make a profile on the company's website and sign-up for available classes. The only downside to this, is that they don't provide any information as to what you should bring to class or send an e-mail out to notify you of suggested items to bring to the specific class you're signed up for. For my class with Ally there was nothing that said I needed to wear shorts, I arrived in yoga pants, which didn't help at all when trying to complete the routine. In Jeannie's class I was un-aware that I should bring socks, thank goodness she provided knee pads. Another Tip: bring a bottle of water, they do have water bottles on site as a courtesy, but it may not be in stock during your session. They also sell high heeled pumps, shorts, tee shirts and a product called dry hands to keep sweating hands at bay. The bathrooms are located down the hall, so all of the women in both classes opted to change in the studio. There are cubby's for you to place your things upon arrival for safe keeping. Participants in each class are encouraged to arrive no more than 15 minutes prior to class. read more

I came here a while ago. I liked it. - Easy to find. - Very cute studio. - Very clean studio and the instructor had us wiping the poles. - Small classes. - No overbooking. Enough poles for all. There are spin and stationary poles. But in intro to pole, beginners practice on stationary. Towards the end of the class, you try out the spinning pole and are taught basic moves (fireman). - instructor was very nice and encouraging. I was somewhat shy about doing "sexy things" around a bunch of women. Lol - Got my first pole bruise. (Lol) - It's really affordable. - Good workout. I was sore the first time and I go to the gym. I guess I was using muscles that I normally dont. Tips? - No lotion. - wear shorts or shorts with wide fishnet leggings. Something to grip the pole. Your flesh has to make contact (thats why ppl in this sport are always half naked. Lol). I wore my compression running tights and whacked my shin (several times) trying to grasp the spinning pole and stay on it during a spin. - you can bring shoes or wear reg fitness shoes. I have been attending classes every week since November and I must say they have never let me down. I had a c section early 2018 with my first child and was suffering from back ache on a weekly basis. Since working on my strength at Impulse I can say I've gotten so much stronger and my back no longer hurts! Classes are hard but the instructors push you and even accommodate moves to ensure your participation. I especially love Jeannie's Sunday flow class (My "sexy" day), Jade's booty bounce class, and Ally's beginner tricks class. I LOVE Impulse! read more
