With tax my total came out to $210. For installing a small part that I supplied. I'd hate to know what they'd charge if they supplied the part. Quality seems ok so far. But their labor costs are high. He didn't break down the hourly labor charge on the work order. Just a fee he seems to have made up. Don't know that I would use them again. It's hard to find a reasonably priced mechanic one can trust.

After I came, a few cars arrived. Glad I came when I did because there was only 2-3 men working the car wash side. Luckily since I read other reviews and their website, I knew what wash I wanted. I went with the Manager's Special. My car was vacuumed, tires sprayed, "pressure rinsed" and ran through the wash. It was hand dried and wiped down on the inside. Windows were cleaned inside and out. Tires were glossed and rims were wiped down. Cash and cards are taken for payment, but if you want to tip your attendant, have cash. There is no way to add a tip when paying. There is an atm at the gas station next door if needed. My car looks very clean and attention was given to the details. I would come here again!

I came for an oil change and an inspection. My old car has plenty of issues, and the staff talked to me about the most important ones, what the causes are, and how to get each issue fixed. They had no problem answering my plethora of questions! With each oil change they also do a comprehensive inspection with photos and send it to you via email/text. Prior to my appointment, I prepaid in full for the windshield replacement out of pocket, without involving my insurance company. When the technician arrived for the scheduled installation, I discovered that the replacement windshield was an aftermarket product. I informed the technician that I preferred an original equipment (OEM) windshield. After contacting the local shop, my appointment was rescheduled for four days later to accommodate my request. When the technician returned for the rescheduled appointment, I was unexpectedly informed that I owed an additional $117. This was surprising because I had already paid for the replacement in advance. When I questioned the additional charge, I was told that windshield wipers and several other add-on items had been included in the order without my authorization or prior knowledge. I declined the additional charges and requested a refund for the unauthorized items. I was then informed that it would take five to seven business days to receive my refund. I should not have had to wait for the return of my own money for products and services I neither requested nor approved. To make matters worse, the manager I spoke with was vague in explaining the charges, offered no apology for the inconvenience, and handled the situation in a manner I found dismissive and unprofessional. Rather than taking ownership of the issue or attempting to resolve my concerns, I was left feeling like an inconvenience despite having already paid for the service in good faith. This experience fell well below the level of customer service I expected from a company with Safelite's reputation. I believe customers deserve transparency in pricing, authorization before additional products are added to an order, and respectful communication when concerns arise. Based on my experience, I cannot recommend Safelite. If you're considering having your vehicle's windshield replaced, I would encourage you to carefully explore other providers before choosing Safelite.
