My mom doesn't speak English, and I help translate, but Laura was incredibly attentive to both of us. She carefully observed my mom's movement and reactions, asked thoughtful questions and never made us feel rushed. Even with the language barrier, she quickly understood what was going on. She took the time to explained everything clearly and showed where the pain may be coming from. By the time we got home, my mom already felt noticeably relief. That surprised us as this was just an initial evaluation. I am cureently seeing Apeksha for women's Pelvic Floor PT and post partem concerns after having my first baby naturally which, as I have learned, comes with its own set of recoveries and even more when you have your first child in your later years. I went to physical therapy last August, and treated by Dr. Mark Rowley. I had muscle pain on my right shoulder due to the muscle that was so tense. It hurt every time I lift my arm. After into 9 weeks of treatments, Dr. Mark Rowely recommended cupping therapy, and it really helped the muscle loose at the deeper layer. The pain completely went away after the combinations of cupping therapy (twice) and physical therapy's treatments. And I stayed on once a week for couple more months afterward for maintenance. Dr. Mark Rowley is very caring, paying attention to his patient's concerns. The normal routine is 30 minutes physical therapy and 30 minutes exercise/stretching. I am very grateful for the service provided by Dr. Mark Rowley and his assistants. The office in Fountain Valley is clean and friendly. I'm so happy and grateful I chose to be treated here. I had been struggling with TMJ and Shoulder related issues for well over two years and had sought care with two other providers with no luck. I didn't improve with one and was completely scared off the process with another (for a long while). Dr. Kristin Meily was so reassuring, accommodating, and professional. First and foremost, the building it's in is beautiful and going inside their office does not disappoint. Beautiful, spacious, clean, private and with all the equipment one needs for a PT visit. Kristin is amazing and I am so lucky I found her! I have been struggling with sciatica pain for years and now that I am 8 months pregnant it has gotten a lot worse.
