Double burgers with regular and animal fries

What's better than an In-N-Out Burger (besides mine off the grill)? After burning all those calories hiking around Salt Lake City, we needed to refuel! Ordered the double burger with animal fries from the not-so-secret menu. This facility is nice and clean and easy to get in-n-out of the parking lot. Food was fresh and quickly making it to our table. Servers are friendly and keep the place immaculate! These burgers are made fresh to order and even though this chain is expanding, the quality of taste hasn't been lost.

While we were visiting the Salt Lake City area, we intentionally researched this franchise because they only use 100% American beef for their burgers. We always order their double-double combo, which comes with a drink and a side order of fries. They also offer a "protein" style which is where they use lettuce rather than their hamburger buns for customers that don't want the bread. Everything we ordered was exceptional and I'm positive we will continue to support this franchise restaurant.

Hard to beat a good In-N-Out Burger! They are quick even with a large group. One thing you notice with this location is how busy it stays but how clean it is! Conversation comes easy with a group in or outside the restaurant.

This location is great. We usually go to Lagoon and we will leave and come get burgers here for dinner and then we go back to Lagoon. It's a great burger for the price. However, the fries are dry and under seasoned. They need salt and ketchup, but even then they still aren't great.

Awesome! I give In-N-Out burger a 7/10 The burger was a solid 8, there was plenty of veggies, and sauce, with a good taste, but the patties were small like Culver's and the buns were mediocre, and began flaking up on top and soaking in the grease. The fries were a 4/10, small and tasteless and not much salt, I give at least a 4 because they skin fresh whole taters and smash them fresh into fries, so that's cool! Drinks: The fountain drinks were normal like every other place, so I don't knock them there, trust me I've had bad drink experiences. One time at a Hardee's I had bugs coming out of the water in the fountain soda machine. Drinks are 7/10 Sauce: Oh and their fry sauce tasted amazing, solid 8/10 The service was very friendly and handled the busy crowd very well, it is just slow when busy. I give service an 8/10, the bathrooms weren't the cleanest. Overall I give the overhyped In-N-Out a well deserved, not bad 7/10.

Efficient drive thru service with good burgers. Love the staff uniforms and politeness. We went here on the way to go paddle-boarding. As we left, the guy at the register ran out with our catch-up, because he had forgotten to give it to us. I thought that was superb.

Love going to an In N Out whenever I Travel. Food and service is consistent. This location is right off the highway so it was prefect. Despite how crowded it may be, the lines move fast. Parking lot is pretty big too so we didn't need to wait for a spot. We were able to find a table quickly after placing our orders. They have workers swiping down tables after people leave. I got the Double Double with Animal Style Fries and a Vanilla & Strawberry Mixed Shake.

Best burger hands down! It's not all fancy and elegant here. But you'll leave satisfied! I always say, if your hands aren't gooey when you're done, then you didn't do it right! Shakes are pretty good as well. It does get super busy, and the lines can be out the door, but it does move fairly quick, just be patient, it's worth it! Don't forget the secret menu, animal style is the best!

I love In-N-Out! Whenever I am on the west coast or in Texas, I make it a point to stop by for a burger since we don't have this chain up in the Midwest. In-N-out makes a fresh, clean, simple but delicious burger at an affordable cost. The quality is always consistent no matter which location I go to.

My first meal coming into Utah was In-N-Out so it only made sense that my last meal leaving Utah was going to be In-N-Out. This location is conveniently right off the freeway about 15-20 minutes north of Salt Lake City. I ordered the double double animal style ($4.19) and an order of fries well done ($1.95). It's consistent at every location and this location was no exception. I know what to expect when I visit and I never leave disappointed. This location also has the touchless soda fountain station which I've seen at other locations in Utah! The prices are great, the food comes out quick, the staff is friendly, and the taste is amazing. What more can you ask for?

Being from Southern California we grew up with In-N-Out. I don't eat fast food much. Meanwhile, at 11 pm driving back to Salt Lake from Logan there isn't much open, which prompted me to return to this familiar place. It didn't take long to remind me why this chain continues to grow. It's rare to see workers at a fast food chain excited to be here, which is refreshing to customers. And, these burgers are much better than competitors like McDonald's, Burger King, Wendy's etc. Why anyone would ever eat that when you can come here and get something fresh and tasty baffles me. For a true fast food burger, you can't go wrong here. read more

I hardly ever feel compelled to write reviews for fast food chain restaurants but I finally had the chance to see what all the hype was about (yikes, I'm like a decade late) and I can honestly say that it wasn't all that I expected. But it definitely wasn't disappointing either. Being a first timer, I took the safe route out and didn't order anything animal style because I didn't want my first experience to be too wild and I thought the burgers were pretty satisfactory. I'm a Houston native, so it's quite a drive for me to get to the other Texas locations but happened to stop by here since I was vacationing in between Montana, Wyoming, and Utah. If I had to compare their burgers to anything else, it would definitely remind me a lot of Whataburger (only southerners know haha.) The fries I'm afraid, pale very much in comparison to the burgers and everyone knows they're supposed to compliment each other. For me, I judge most fast food locations by how well cooked their fries are and I'm not quite sold on their taste considering how "fresh" they are. Didn't realize I could ask for them to be well done, but if I ever get the opportunity again I'll definitely give them another chance to redeem themselves. They were just overly salty and pale on the outside, filmy on in the inside, and just overall kind of lifeless. I only knocked a star off because I'm optimistic about In-N-Out and think my next experience can be so much better now that I know I can customize around a little more to enhance the flavors. The double-double is a classic and the patties are cooked to perfection, vegetables crisp, and buns with just the slightest bit of crunch for a perfect finish. I'll have to try their shake next time, but the lemonade wasn't too bad either. My family and I were the sixth guest in for the day so it wasn't really too busy and everyone was extremely nice; offering suggestions since they knew we were first-timers. If you are driving north or south on I-15 past Centerville, In-N-Out Burger is a good place to go to get something to eat. The menu is pretty simple, but if you are one who likes burgers, fries, shakes, and drinks, then this is a good place for that kind of food. Sometimes it's busy, especially during lunch, but that's only because the food is good. It's fun the watch the crew work when it's busy though. The order takers are friendly and accurate, so you don't have to worry about getting what you ordered. It's a fun place to be for a short while. read more

I love that they're so close and convenient to home--I'm a total sucker for their double meat protein style burger if you're looking for a protein hit without the carb load. It's too bad that their lines both inside and outside are oftentimes sooooo long, but that's just a sign of good food and good service. :) They're an easy spot to jump on/off the freeway to get from/to. read more

after an extremely tiring day at lagoon, we decided to drop by in-n-out for some burgers. kale, the boy taking orders outside in the hundred degree weather, was so ridiculously cheerful and stoked to be doing his job. he told us to "stay awesome!" as we drove away and i definitely will! just for you, kale! what an awesome employee! oh and the food was good too. :) read more

I love this place. It's normally pretty quick to go through the drive through even on a busy night. They are like a well oiled machine. The best burgers in the world and shakes to go with it. Terrible Fries. Stopped here on the way home and grabbed a #1 combo to go. If you're like me, you always reach into the bag whilst driving to snag a french fry or two. The first few are always the tastiest because they hit your appetite right at its zenith and they are hottest right out of the fryer. Well, after the second fry I was so confused. These "fries" tasted like packing peanuts. I said to my wife "these are terrible..." so she reached into the bag and tried a couple. Her reaction was the same as mine. Now in my experience, there are good fries, and there are great fries, but I can't remember eating at a national chain without at least getting a decent french fry to go with my burger. These were so bland we just tossed them the moment we got home...btw, loved the cheeseburger...it really hit the spot. read more

I have to admit that when I was first introduced to In-N-Out several years ago, I didn't get it. I appreciated that everything was fresh but I thought the menu to be sparse and the burgers to be so-so. But then I realized that the secret to a great burger at In-N-Out is NOT on the menu. It's how you order your burger that makes it great. My favorite (so far) is the Animal Style Double Double. I'm now glad that this place opened up in Utah. I don't have to wait to be in Vegas or California to satisfy the craving and try out all the other options. On a side note, I think it's funny that INO set up shop right across the parking lot from McDonald's in Centerville, Utah. It doesn't get any more in your face than that. LOL! read more

In-and-out has started opening in Dallas. It's still a 30 min wait to get a burger, so I hadn't tried them yet. But driving back to the hotel at 11pm, this is the only place open. We stop and load up. The fries are shoestring which I'm not a fan of, other people in the car were, and liked them. The burgers are delicious. I will be going more often once a few more open up where I live and don't have to wait so long read more

When you're traveling this is a great place to stop and fill up on a great burger at a great price. If you have $10 two people can get a huge burger, fries and drink. It's normally always a long line but hell its a great tasting nice thick burger. If you're a burger person you can't go wrong by stopping for one of these. read more

Soggy Fries and plain burgers with too much lettuce. I gave this place 2 stars for excellent service and a burger that isn't the worst I've ever had. I've eaten at In-N-Out a few different times over the past 7 years, and they are all the same: Soggy fries and plain burgers with too much lettuce. I don't care how fresh all of the ingredients are if it taste like crap. It amazes me that people think so highly of this place. Then again, the people that frequent these fast food places think that going "out" for a nice dinner is another burger from Chilli's. I could make a better burger with frozen patties out of a box and better fries from a bag of off-brand frozen french fries. Smother anything in ranch or fry sauce out here in the west, and the locals think it's awesome "food." I would rather eat at Wendy's and spend the extra dollar for my meal than eat at In-N-Out. read more

This is a great import from California for the price their burgers are great. It's a no frills menu so if you don't want a burger go so.e where else. The fires are way better hot do don't wait to long to eat them. Lots of celebrities love In N Out. read more

The burgers are always good. I usually get the Double-double animal style. The fries are delicious as well, even without salt! Staff is also always friendly and professional (which is unheard of in fast-food). Only concern is the lack of variety. Even so, it's not that big of a deal and I'll probably eat there for the rest of my life anyways. Definitely recommended. read more

I love In-N-Out, but be careful if you need to order from the allergy menu in the drive through at this location. More often than not I've had an error in my order, though inside they have been spot on. Take the extra few seconds to make sure you get what you've asked for. read more

I live near Centerville and come to the In-N-Out Burger located there all the time and I always leave satisfied no matter what! The staff is always accommodating and friendly, and there is an employee who has helped me a few times while I've been through the drive thru that was so enthusiastic and happy and cheerful he totally turned my day around and made want to be the same way at my job! Love In-N-Out Burger! The staff is exceptionally bright and happy with their friendly demeanor and crisp uniforms. The burgers are so fresh and yummy and the price is so dang reasonable! Their fries are perfectly dreadful but I don't even fault them for that, it's healthier to skip the fries anyway ;) I ordered a milkshake once and I won't do that again but I'm super picky about any kind of ice cream. Despite the fries and the shakes being sub par, I don't hesitate to give them 5 stars! read more

As you step inside, you can immediately tell that the establishment is well managed. Everything is beautiful and the staff and quick to welcome you with a smile and seat you. They welcome you a cold glass bottle of filtered water. Make sure you sit outside at shaded table near the fountain. Even in 90-degree-weather days, the coolness from the fountains splashing and numerous nearby trees and bushes make the experience very pleasant with even a slight breeze. The entrees are reasonably priced and very tempting, it's a challenge to choose what to eat. My suggestion? Give the wait staff an idea of your favorites and ask them to make a suggestion. Both times I've been here, I ordered what they suggested and it was amazing. The seafood, sauces and flavors are elegant and well executed. They have lots of options for seafood lovers and those who love it less. On my latest trip, I got the Prawn Scampi. The spaghettini noodles were cooked al dente, the butter garlic sauce was delicious, and when you combined them with a grape tomato, a part of the asparagus heart, and one of the prawns it was a taste symphony! A tip! Sometimes they have special where if you show them a ticket to a movie at the nearby Cinemark theater, they'll give you a free appetizer. I got the Seafood Chowder. It was rich, thick and savory with small chunks of scallops and fish with corn, onion, and bacon. Delicious!

We totally understand Utah's liquor laws are what they are, but it's so strange that our server couldn't scan our IDs or bring our drinks, I've noticed this every time I've been here. Instead, a bartender has to come over to scan our IDs and then come back again later with the drinks, which makes the whole process take too long. The biggest issue was finding a press on fingernail in the popcorn... The staff apologized and brought us a complimentary dessert, which we appreciated and thought was a nice way to make up for it. As far as the food quality goes, I would not recommend the salmon tacos. They're dry and incredibly flavorless. Which is surprising considering all the toppings they include. The description of them is deceiving. Overall, the staff was friendly, and there were some positives, but the service and a few small mishaps kept the experience from being better.

I have been coming here for years with my family and we have had many family functions and graduations catered from here as well. I recently just went in person for a takeout order and noticed that they changed their setup from a walk-up line to a sit down order style. I spoke with one of the owner's and her intentions of switching things up and she looks forward to the new change! A= Appearance - Utah is not well known for their BBQ but this place makes you feel like you're somewhere else. The smell of the BBQ sauce and meat are quite enticing. T= Taste - For as long as I've been coming here I have ordered one and only one thing and that is their famous Frito Pie! I love it! I think it is so creative and nothing like I have ever had before. One tip that I do when ordering it is to make sure to get the meat lean cut, but that is just a personal preference because I do not enjoy biting into fatty pieces of meat.

In-N-Out is a great place for a burger that does not cost much but tastes great. That is about all that I like about In-N-Out but gives them a 3.5 star so a 4. If they ever raise the price then it would be a 3. Ingredients are usually top notch and tastes great on the burger. The hidden menu is what you should order from as the base menu is really bland. Animal style burger with banana peppers (they call them chillies sometimes) is how I order my burger usually in the double double size. I like how the spice of the peppers mixes with the animal style condiments of the burger. That is why I like this place and makes it worth stopping at if in the area. Fries and other things at In-N-Out are not the best I have had and not that great in my opinion. Shoe string fries are something that I do not like so it is not just them. If you do get fries there the animal style are decent. The shakes are really basic and if they ever get into doing mix ins then they might be more worthwhile for me to get. That is what I do not like about In-N-Out and makes it not worth going out of your way for. read more

I am SOOOO happy In-N-Out came to northern Utah. Animal style all the way! Burger, fries, try them all animal style! And don't forget your Neapolitan shake! I love that I can go to any In-N-Out and my food will be the same no matter what store I go to. Customer service for In-N-Out is also top notch! If you ever have an issue with your food, bring it up to the manager at the store. If you had your food take-out, call the number on the receipt. They will take care of you and make sure the store is notified of the error so it can be corrected in the future. Highly recommneded. read more

I like In-N-Out. The burgers are tasty the prices are decent, pretty good branding. But honestly, I feel it is over-hyped. Its good but not "the best place ever." If you are hungry though, I recommend trying the four by four. Also, randomly, I feel like it is too bright inside. It has a specific white florescent light that I just don't care for. It's probably a marketing tool to get you "in and out." Anyway, I like this place but its just not my absolute favorite. read more
