I tried this place while on business travel. I ordered the veggie burger with raw onions and cheese along with the standard toppings. Also, I opted to try the tempura green beans. The veggie burger could have used some seasoning. I ordered a side of spicy ranch so I used that to help with the bland veggie taste. The tempura green beans were delicious, no sauce needed. Okay, I thought I had done my review but since I didn't I will now. Sorry that it's late. The place is clean and not noisy at all. The staff were welcoming, friendly and helpful. I ordered the Mango chicken salad. It comes with grilled chicken, lettuce and white cabbage, wonton bits, cucumber, a corn mixture (very tasty) and a ginger dressing that is fantastic! The ginger wasn't overly strong and made me want more of it. I've gotten this salad twice now! I highly recommend it. Then I got the banana milkshake. It is very thick, spoon standup thick with a ton of chocolate pieces in it and a sprinkle of peanuts on top. This was very very good! No way I was wasting any of that. What made it so good? Habit Burger is always a solid choice. Ingredients are fresh and pretty good. I like the variety of options and like the fries. I'm also on a quest to find the best onion rings in the Bountiful area (but veered a little further away for this one). These are middle of the pack for all 11 places I've tried and 2nd place for chain fast food joints (behind Dairy Queen). They are perfectly crunchy (thin batter) but don't have a lot of flavor. The service here was great. The counter guest was kind and attentive. He made sure we had all the things we wanted and asked the right questions when ordering to make sure we had drinks and fries if wanted them. We went to the bathroom to wash our hands before we ate. The bathrooms were very clean. We got our food it came out hot and fresh. They offered fry sauce and ketchup as well as hot peppers to add to your burgers. The fry sauce was empty and as I was serving myself some the employee noticed instantly and fixed it quick. My only concern here was the mat by the drink fountain was wet and when I stepped off of it I almost slipped. I already have a broken foot so that was scary. I used to love Habit Burger & Grill, but something has changed and now their burgers seem sloppy. That maybe your thing, but when all the ingredients seem to mesh together like they were bundled in a food processor, it just does not make this an enjoyable burger place anymore. read more

When we are in town we try to stop by for a Santa Barbara Char, tempura green beans and a chocolate shake. We haven't been in a few years. They've added tables. They have self order kiosks. They still have 1 order taker. But the groups doing self order took a very long time. First time eating at Habit Burger, I hear from friends they have really juicy burgers. I was a party of 3 and the bill was just over $30. I ordered the Char Cheese burger and the others had a burger also, we shared 3 sides of fries, Sweet potato fries and onion rings, we had two fountain drinks. To us the burger was nothing special, yea it had everything on it but had a cold bun, cold lettuce and it made the meat just warm. Fries not crisp, sweet potato fries not crispy, onion rings were nicely crisp. I liked the fry sauce and the pepper bar. To me its just like any other fast food burger. read more

Decent burgers for a fast food chain. Nothing crazy but definitely decent - and not greasy so I love that! I got an original charburger with cheese and a side of tempura green beans with ranch which I really enjoyed! They were perfectly cooked - not over fried at all - still juicy on the inside yum! We also tried the Oreo shake and it was pretty standard - good but nothing crazy special. I tried the strawberry limeade and it was good! A little too sweet for my taste but that's just a personal preference - still enjoyed a few sips! I will say I thought the burgers were small for the price. But they're good and no difference in what you get price-wise elsewhere. I'm giving 4 stars bc all the tables were filthy. They had the little Covid stickers on them saying they were clean and sanitized but they weren't. We had to get napkins and clean it ourselves so that was a little unsettling. read more

This is a kudos update for The Habit which recently experienced a COVID shutdown, reopening about a week ago. At approx 8p on a Friday the place was bustling for business. The burger patties and cheese don't seem quite as good quality as they once were. (I'm wondering about them being purchased earlier in 2020 by YUM Brands which owns KFC and Taco Bell, yet the rest of sandwich seemed the same. Love those grilled onions!) The service was VERY friendly, prompt, well-staffed, and the $25 burger deal was tasty and right-sized for two parents and a teenager. (Four normal Char cheeseburgers, four fries, and a fresh chef salad for $25.) The sauces and pepper bar-- I love pepperoncinis on their Charburgers-- are closed due to COVID but they happily got us what sauces and peppers we needed in pre-prepped lidded portion cups. (Tho sadly the custom fry sauce is now gone.) And the self-serve drinks fountain now says, "Please ask us for another glass when you get refills". Excellent touch of service and safety! So that earns them a higher rating from me for now, notwithstanding that we'll have to see if the YUM purchase changes anything more. read more

I don't get up this way too often, but in a hurry I know where the place is and I know what to expect: solid burgers and a decent price. I know where this place is, having been there previously for an event, but it may still be hard to locate if you're not familiar. It's in the northwest corner of this massive development, a little removed from the main parking lot, down a little road that serves as the corner entrance to the strip mall. I've had most of the burgers on the menu, and a few of the salads. I'd definitely go with any of them, but I was surprised at how much I liked the veggie burger. Lots of flavor, nice texture, and it's put together with care. They're trying super hard here and it pays off. I know that each employee is given the power to make things right, so if you're not satisfied you need but to speak up and they will fix things. That's a crazy approach, but crazy in the best way, and a way that works. I love diving into divey small town Utah joints, but The Habit ain't a bad place for a burger fix when you can't get your shack grub. No complaints from me! read more

Had to write a review for this restaurant after having two great experiences there recently. The employees at this location are top notch friendly, polite, helpful, and hard working. We came in tonight really close to closing, we felt terrible about it and asked if it was ok for us to still order, we were greeted with a smile and they took our order without making us feel like we were putting them out though I'm sure we were. Food was hot and fresh and quickly prepared Also we could see them cleaning and it looked like they were doing an extremely detailed job, pulling out the grill to clean behind it and all around. I love feeling like the place making my food goes the extra mile to keep things clean. I've also come on another occasion and seen an employee help a customer dig keys out of the trash (she through them away on her tray). That's just above and beyond IMO No matter when we come the service is five stars and so are the tempura green beans with ranch :) read more

I still give 4/5 stars because the food always tastes great, despite my order not being right multiple times. Everything I've ever had is delicious though, so I can't count it against them for making a mistake now and then. The Ahi Tuna sandwich is great, as is the Santa Barbara Char (although a bit greasier than I dig). The Teriyaki Charburger is excellent as well. I often get the Grilled Chicken Salad with the house dressing because it's the perfect portions of everything and never leaves me feeling hungry after. Here's my beef with it at the Farmington Station location; I've requested avocado to be added multiple times and not once has it been added. Because of COVID-19, getting it curbside, it's not worth throwing a fit over, not to mention it's often just high school students running the show. I came here with some friends before we went to the Taylor Swift Movie in Farmington station. I got the Teriyaki Char Burger, and a side of half sweet potato fries and half onion rings. The half and half thing is a total rip off. Just pick one side or the other. I got a total of 4 small onion rings and a couple sweet potato fries, while my friends full regular fries were overflowing. Also, the sweet potato fries were shoestring cut, which made the quantity of fries even less. The fry sauce and ranch was delicious! The char burger was overall really good. Once my favorite restaurant and my favorite location now hits near bottom of my top 50. NEW LOGO = weak! NEW PRICES = horrible!! I get that employee cost have gone up but feel like we are paying for the rebranded restaurant logo and not the food anymore. $5.39 Santa Barb Char is $7.00?!?! What a racket. Pure disappointment in the experience from the look to the trash music to the un engaged employees to the wait time during slow late afternoon times. Doesn't taste 30% better but it cost 30% more.
