It's not like it looks... the detail is how delicious it tastes... OMG... The food tastes like food... the ingredients feel fresh... it doesn't taste like pre-cooked food

Shakes were great. The chocolate is just your classic flavor but you gotta love the classic go to's. The buttermilk strawberry wasn't anything out of this world. I was hoping for something a bit different since it was buttermilk. Oh well. The burgers were awesome. Kind of small so I was still hungry after. Kids meals were tiny too. But I like that they give fruit In the kids meal. Staff was friendly but almost every question we asked, they didn't know the answer to. That's to be expected for a new place with inexperienced kids working there. Hope the staff continues to be trained on their menu because that was a bit frustrating. We'll be back, I'm sure.

I'm allergic to wheat, egg and dairy. I went into Cubby's excited at the options since they mark everything for allergies. I was going to do a salad, but all their dressings had milk or eggs (I'm glad they were all marked correctly). So I ordered a sandwich on gluten free bread. I took a second look at their menu and saw the gluten free bread has egg. I told the server about my food restrictions. We were careful in ordering. I was excited for the black bean bun, no cheese, avocado and the BBQ sauce was free from allergens. They brought our food and I ate. Tasted very good. Then I noticed that the bun had been toasted. I asked if it was toasted in butter, and it was. They made me a new sandwich, but that won't keep me from having stomach pains for the next week... Posting their dietary menu for others.

First impressions were positive. The restaurant was filled with natural light and very clean. Walking in, the aroma from the kitchen was pleasant and inviting. Service at the counter was good. We were able to quickly place our order and get seated. The reason for the two stars was the food. I ordered the Gypsy and the bottom bun was so soaked with liquid that I had to eat the burger with a knife and fork. The bottom bun was so soggy that the paper wrapping the burger was completely wet and fell apart when I was first unwrapping it. The burger lacked flavor which may be due to all the liquid being absorbed by the bottom bun. The rosemary fries weren't crisp either, as though they had been sitting out for a bit. I'm hoping it was a fluke. I've been to other locations and had a great experience.

This was our first time visiting this Bountiful location. We have been to the Cubby's in Draper a few times and enjoyed our visit. To begin, the team here is really friendly and certainly make a great effort to make you feel welcome. Definitely great customer service. The dining area was really clean and they are upholding Covid cleaning practices. 5 stars for both of these categories. Nicely done. When we made the decision to stop by Cubby's, it was because I had a craving for a Chicago Beef Style Sandwich. As we got in line and it was our turn to order, to my disappointment, their beef sandwiches are currently unavailable! After we got home, I checked their website to see if there was any info on the reason. They have a note on the menu page, currently unavailable. Glad they have it posted. Wish I would have gone online first, before visiting. Anyway, I decided to go with the Cockadoddledoo, which is a grilled chicken breast served on a ciabatta bun, and comes with a spring mix, Swiss cheese, smoked bacon, grilled onions and tomato and an avocado spread. The sandwich was just okay. The chicken spent a bit too much time on the grill, which made it chewy and crunchy. My wife chose to get their Gypsy Burger, which has smoked bacon, cheddar cheese, lettuce, tomato, carmelized onions and a sweet BBQ sauce. Unfortunately, her burger was a let down. The patty was dry and overcooked and the bun was smashed down on the patty. Along with our sandwich and burger, we included a side of rosemary fries. The portion of fries is large. So here's the deal. This might have just been an off day. The Cubby's in Draper has always been great. I have no reason to believe this Bountiful location couldn't be the same. Unfortunately, I struggle when I spend $30 on a burger, a sandwich, one side of fries and 2 drinks... and leave disappointed with meal we had. Not sure If we will return, but if I see the reviews start to improve... maybe I can be convinced to give them another chance. I am pulling for you Cubby's of Bountiful.

Bender Bowl. Liked the crunch of the cabbage and the creamy lemon cashew sauce.

I've eaten at Cubby's in Provo many times and always had great service and good food. I decided to try this location since it's literally down the street from where I live and I wanted to take my daughter to lunch. We arrived at 12:15 and it wasn't very busy. I ordered the pomegranate citrus salad but they said that they were out of the ingredients. Wow, at 12:15 pm, a LOT of people must have ordered that salad already to be out of the ingredients so early in the day. Must be popular. Okay, instead I ordered the Bender Bowl, which is new. We also ordered the grilled cheese sandwich and rosemary fries, which are always a favorite. It look us longer than expected to receive our food but we really enjoyed the food once it came out. I liked the creaminess of the sauce in the Bender Bowl and the crunchiness of the cabbage. I appreciate another option available for vegetarians since I usually have to order the wild rice and kale salad. It's listed on the menu as vegan, but it said it had a three cheese blend?? I asked for no cheese just in case. My daughter really enjoyed her sandwich as well. About 15 minutes into our lunch a worker locked the door coming into the restaurant. We were seated near the door and she told the couple at the door that they needed to go through the drive through if they wanted food. Wow, really? At 12:45 in the afternoon you're turning away customers? The restaurant wasn't very busy and there were only a few people in line. The table near ours had several men on their lunch break and we overheard them asking about why they would lock the doors and what bad customer service that was. About 10 minutes later someone else came to the door to get in and they were looking at me through the glass, so I asked one of 3 workers that I could see behind the register if I could let them in. I asked her why the doors were locked and she said that they didn't have enough workers there to make the orders. She ended up letting them in, but the tables around me were pretty disgusted, especially since the restaurant seemed pretty empty. The man next to our table looked at me incredulously and said "why didn't they just tell them it could be a little wait if they were having problems and not lock everyone out?" We all just shook our heads and wondered what was going on. I think they lost a lot of repeat business after that. Hopefully this was an isolated incident but you never know. Overall the food was good, but I don't think I'll go back and take my chances in case they are having an off day again.

Chicken sandwich double! Just ask for extra protein and the cashier was really helpful suggesting double cockadoodledoo

We really enjoyed this time at Cubbys's with family and friends. Chicken sandwich tri tip sandwich and Houdini burger with buffalo sweet potato omg

This is a new spot in bountiful, I saw it driving by and thought to give it a try . Haven't been to their other location . Place is clean , they're following social distancing rules , everyone wearing masks , plexiglass at the counter . Their menu is diverse , thought to try a burger , chicken tacos , blue buffalo fries and rosemary fries . Burger , dragon slayer , was good but nothing to write home about . Chicken were at the same level . Didn't seem like it was freshly made . Service was slow , and you can definitely hear the chatter about your order from the seating area . With the way it's set up , this restaurant is more of a fast food / curbside pick up rather than a dine in spot . There's couple more items on the menu I still would like to try .

Nice disgusting beet salad on the left made all wrong. Tri tip steak on the right after getting the right dressing

We're the first reviewed influencers? Free food review for 5 stars? We went for date night and it was not a 5 star review! I ordered 2 small salads to try. Goat cheese beet salad. Brought it out NO GOAT CHEESE NO NUTS AND mashed up avocado only 3 slices of beets are you kidding me? Next the tri tip steak - wrong dressing. Buffalo fries....sauce wasn't even on the fries. It was like a dipping sauce and no blue cheese in the dipping sauce. Hubby got the squash burger and got it double patty and said not a $10 burger. I took my beet salad up and they replaced it but acted so put out. 10 minutes later I got my salad, they gave me the right dressing for the steak salad and my hubby was so bugged after telling them about the fries he said forget it.

We were seated quickly on a weeknight, as it was pretty empty. Thankfully I'd read the reviews first and knew not to get a "personal" pizza- "small" is a more reasonable size for most people. It's thin-crust, wood-fired pizza, but nothing about the toppings, sauce, or crust stands out- it's just okay! And for the price and oddly formal-feeling atmosphere, I'd expect at least one standout ingredient- but no. Our group also ordered garlic bread, which was definitely worse than something you'd make at home- very light on the garlic, and needed seasonings.

Half White, Alfredo sauce, Canadian bacon, caramelized onions, pine nuts, artichoke hearts and basil. It was really pretty good 3.5/5 Half Arella, caramelized pears, Brie, Gorgonzola, candied pecans, and arugula tossed in blue cheese dressing. 3/5 Side Caesar salad. 4/5 Surprisingly they both lacked a little flavor, with all those great toppings I was surprised. But the worst of the night was our server. I didn't catch her name. She was very quiet and refused to walk around the table to speak with us directly, or to serve our food. Instead she would ask the couple next to us to pass it along. There wasn't much room on that side of the table but the other side provided decent access to us. One couple didn't receive their salad, the appetizers came after the entrees were served. And the worst part of it all, I was doing the math in my head after we left and we were over charged around $10. What happened was the waitress included the gratuity, because we were a table of 8. But didn't tell us!!! She just handed us the POS machine, by passing it down the line, which automatically asks for a tip. It didn't show an itemized receipt or anything. Even though the service was really bad I included a 20% tip. Only to find out the tip had already been included, 40% tip for bad service! I felt it was disingenuous to include a tip without telling us and then passing us a POS machine that asks for a tip. It felt dishonest and like we had been duped or robbed and I won't be coming back. Others in our party felt the same way too. I tried calling the manager twice but they weren't in or available.

The interior wasn't anything to write home about but that's not why I go somewhere to eat. I ordered the bacon cheese burger with waffle fries, and within 5-10 minutes they were out with my order. The star of the show turns out to be those fries, I don't know what seasoning they had in there but it was honestly fantastic. The burger itself was nice and juicy with chewy bacon. As I write this my mouth still feels the amount of salt that I just had so if you're wary of that here's your warning. They also had Mexican sodas and sweet treats, I didn't get any but it could be a fun addition to an outing here. Let me share what I did like first: We enjoyed the vibe inside, everyone felt like they knew each other and knew the staff and that's exactly what we love about Mom + Pop Shops. We ate in the morning and the light was shining pretty gnarly into the glass windows, I appreciated that they had a make shift covering that they put up to help with the amount of sun that is let in. Anything is better than nothing for sure! Also, I really liked the hashbrowns- that's where this place gets a star for me because I hateeee when breakfast/brunch places do the home style potatoes instead of these yummy shredded hashbrowns. I asked for extra crispy and I felt that they delivered. Now let's get into why I am sad to leave this review- but I have to be honest if we had a choice between this place and Penny Ann's it's going to be Penny Ann's no contest. This establishment is very small (about 8 tables) and not well kept. There is dirt, dust, and cobwebs everywhere and if the dining area is not well kept- it makes me very nervous about what it looks like where my food is being cooked. Also as a heads up- the French Toast I'm almost 100% sure is sourdough. We did not know that and there was no writing saying that was the case so it was unfortunately an unpleasant surprise. Also while I was eating I bit into this hard wire/string thing and that immediately met my last straw and unfortunately we decided to ask for the check and our family left. Unsatisfied and unsure why this restaurant had such high ratings. Super bummed- I honestly don't think we will come back until I hear that they've made improvements on the cleanliness of the establishment.

When we were seated, our table had enough silverware for everyone but not enough chairs, so we had to wait for that to be fixed/try to help the staff in figuring that out. It wasn't a huge deal, but it wasn't the best start. Service as far as the bar drinks goes was a little slow and felt inconsistent throughout the meal. We totally understand Utah's liquor laws are what they are, but it's so strange that our server couldn't scan our IDs or bring our drinks, I've noticed this every time I've been here. Instead, a bartender has to come over to scan our IDs and then come back again later with the drinks, which makes the whole process take too long. The biggest issue was finding a press on fingernail in the popcorn... The staff apologized and brought us a complimentary dessert, which we appreciated and thought was a nice way to make up for it. As far as the food quality goes, I would not recommend the salmon tacos. They're dry and incredibly flavorless. Which is surprising considering all the toppings they include. The description of them is deceiving. Overall, the staff was friendly, and there were some positives, but the service and a few small mishaps kept the experience from being better.
