Although everything is supposed to be the same everywhere, I've noticed that burgers differ from one location to another. In some places, the buns are over-toasted and there's not much filling, while in others there's more. I've noticed that this place does it better than the others. Either way, the cheeseburger at In-N-Out is my favorite. I don't get the fries because they're dry, so I usually just go for a cheeseburger or a Double-Double. We usually go to the one of Campus in Irvine, but we visited this one since it was close by. Not good. They majorly screwed up our order. Left out a burger completely and put onions on the one burger they did include. The fries were OK. Had to completely throw out the order since we did not have time to wait for it to get corrected since they were so busy and cannot eat onions. Probably won't come back to this location. This is just a classic burger place. Has a cult following and I can see why. Try the flying Dutchmen with whole grilled onions and mustard. REALLLLLY good. Staff is always friendly which is nice too. This location is at The District which is a busy area. It's in a plaza with Chick-fil-a, The Halal Guys, and many other food options but still has long lines. Other than that it's pretty much like every other location you've seen with the palm trees and the red and white interior. My go-to order has been a double double animal style ($6.35) with french fries ($2.40) for a long time. If I'm feeling extra hungry I'll order another patty and slice of cheese for a triple triple. The burger is delicious, fresh, and inexpensive. The fries are soft and more limp but if you want you can ask for medium well or even well done for a crispier product. Asking for spread is a must and I dip my fries into it. It's best eaten fresh right when it's ready but it is so good all the time. read more

A good spot for burgers that's consistent with the rest of the chain. This location is in the corner of the district closest to the Jamboree/Barranca intersection. There's a decent amount of parking, but you just have to be careful because some of the spaces may get blocked by the drive thru lines for this restaurant and Chick-fil-A. They have both indoor and outdoor seating available. However, the few times that I've opted to dine outside, there was a very strong mulch smell from the plants. The service is normal, nothing outstanding and very standard with the rest of the chain. The food comes out as quickly as they can make it. They try to keep the location as clean as they can. The food is very consistent with every other location that I've been to. There are a few occasions where I've received burgers and the buns were very cold. Parking is also convenient. Since this In N Out sits in the corner of a large plaza, you can always find parking if you are willing to walk just a few extra steps. The line sometimes goes all the way to the entrance to the District near the Wells Fargo so make sure you don't miss it on your way in. I've never dined indoors, I usually get our items to go and despite how crowded it is, they are very efficient. It's the same burger with the same taste every time I buy it. I'm not a fan for in n out compared to my boyfriend who could eat this for the rest of his life if he could. But the quality of the burgers here are good. They do taste fresh. This in n out in particular has a smooth line in the drive through. You don't see yourself waiting for 20 minutes without moving inline. I think that's what I like most about it. It's also the only in n out in a heavily packed Tustin legacy area. Love the food, quality, and price point. They're very consistent in all areas. Just today, though, I went inside to order because the drive-thru line was extra long, and it was 100+ degrees outside. The line inside was way shorter, and I was waiting behind the person in front of me when all of a sudden (I think the manager) closed the cashier's register, made direct eye contact with me, said nothing, and walked away. Wow. It didn't even "register" to me until later, but I was like, he could have at least said, "He'll help you over there," and motioned to the cashier next to him who was open. He didn't even do that. That was creepy and rude for him to literally make direct eye contact with me and then close the register without saying anything to me. I just awkwardly scooted over to the next cashier when he was done with the person he was helping. But, I was just initially waiting and standing in a closed line until I figured out that he closed it.
