We highly recommend that you start your kitchen "refresh" by meeting with InPlace Cabinetry Finishes, LLC. Most, (if not all) designers are not interested in helping with a kitchen refresh. Its much easier to start from scratch. But painting your cabinets and replacing your counters is not as simple as you might think once you start working on it. Think of the book "If you give a mouse a cookie....." One of the huge benefits of Charles and his team is that they are also excellent carpenters and can help update out of style islands and more. We loved how they modified our existing angled island into a rectangular island with minimal cost, and it truly looks brand new. InPlace also fills the role of the general contractor as they recommend the correct sequence of counter replacement/sink installation, floor refinishing and backsplash. They fill the role of the designer as they come on site and help with the paint selection, and helped with the knob/pull selection for each door and drawer. To make sure we were 100% confident in our selection they took one of our cabinet doors, painted it the color we had selected, and replaced it so we could see it in our environment. Vicki came few times to our home with samples of knobs and pulls we had identified from their catalogue, and worked with us to finalize the hardware. The team at InPlace follows up on the smallest detail because they know how important the proper sequence is, and they want the installation to be successful. The entire team takes great pride in their work and makes sure you are completely satisfied with everything. It would have saved me a lot of time to meet with InPlace first, and go with their list of vendors that they have worked with before for the counter top and floor refinishing.
