We brought our 17 month old son for his first haircut because Robb as well as In the Cut came highly recommend by a friend of ours. I must say we couldn't be happier. It was a flawless experience from booking the appt to meeting with Robb. He was so good with our son. Started by giving him a fireman's cape, then had us sit him in this cool fire truck. Before the appt, we received a text with very helpful info so we felt prepared. Robb was extremely patient and a true a professional. The haircut is so much better than we even expected. At the end, he gave us a lock of our sons hair in a bag as well as a certificate for his 1st haircut. I can tell you after this experience we have no reason to ever look elsewhere when it's time for a son's next haircut. read more

I made an appointment for my 4 year old son to get his first haircut at a barber shop, he had long hair. I had never been here before but my husband was really excited to take our son to get a short haircut. The barber, Brandon, had absolutely no personality, barely spoke to my husband or our son and had an earphone in his ear the whole time. I cannot begin to say how disappointed we were. My husband had to grab a lock of our son's hair off the floor because the barber didn't offer to tie it and cut it as a sentiment. The haircut was choppy for the style. There was absolutely zero thoughtfulness and it was, again, so disappointing. There was a whole bin of lollipops and Brandon did not offer our son one after his first real haircut. I would never ever make an appointment here again based on that terrible experience, I'm angry I even spent money here. read more

I've gone here as a walk in 2-3 times out of desperation bcus I couldn't go to my regular guy. The first couple times were not good. A girl in the back left who was complaining about her life the whole time to another barber, not a big deal, haircut was mediocre at best, I went today and asked for a low skin fade, trim on the top, I left with a high and tight and barely anything on the top, fade is characteristic of someone who doesn't know how to fade, guy was on the phone the entire time, throwing the N word around and talking some idiotic BS I won't quote here. I went to this barbershop after a long stint with another barber who was top notch but had a disaster. No disapointment here. Walking into a modern and clean atmosphere, one feels welcome and settles down into the stadium seating to watch some ESPN until cut time. Everyone here is friendly and its easy to get into a conversation from movies to sports to the latest local news. The quality of the cut here is key, and they consistantly perform above industry standard. I will never stray from these guys as long as I live in the area... The lady had headphones in the whole time and I had a bad experience. Way too pricey for the haircut and it was not worth it. They only accept cash which is very inconvenient. Very unhappy with the cut I got and I am going to a better barber for a real haircut. She would not listen to me and continued to hum and sing what her headphones were playing the whole time. Not a fan at all... we had an appointment for myself and my son. We waited close to 1 hour when the barber told us he wouldn't have time to cut our hair. We had an appointment so I don't understand what the problem was. I will not return and when asked by family and friends I will definitely tell them to stay away from this place. Unfortunately I have not had a great experience here. I did try it twice, so as not to render unfair judgment, but both times it just didn't go great for me. That said every time I've gone there it has been a full house, so it seems a lot of people are happy with them. Also worth noting is that I had the same barber both times and was never able to get a different one (perhaps it's telling this particular barber was available both times while no other was). I won't share their name as I don't want to disparage anyone, also like in all things this person could improve greatly. I tried twice for a haircut and shave; the shave was mostly the issue. The barber sent me out with small nicks (and dried blood spots) all over my face and neck and both times I had to go home to correct it. I have gone to a lot of shops as I travel frequently, often two times a week, so I have seen a wide variety and have a lot of experience with barber shops. Unfortunately this is the one nearest my home, so I really wanted it to be great. Some other things I was disappointed in that are with noting (for a review) prices are slightly above scale so I had high hopes for them to be a bit sharper which I already said wasn't my experience. The chair I sat in (both times) was slightly broken so when they leaned me back it wouldn't lock into position and kept sliding down and had to be reset several times (mid-shave). Lastly they didn't seem to have a hot towel machine, or didn't use it if they did. The barber tried to simulate it by running a towel under hot water for a few seconds which unfortunately does not work the same. I do not like to give negative reviews, and the customers that I saw there both times seemed to generally be very happy and repeat visitors so I feel compelled to say that my experience may be isolated. However, due to the amount I travel and how much I rely on this app, I felt compelled to share my experience in an honest fashion. read more

I got the worst haircut i have ever gotten in my life, the Arabic guy (I am arabic so no racism in the review) is a complete mess, he literally seem that he never cut any person hair in his life, he didn't listen to what i asked for, he kept lying about how long he has been doing this (which is a huge lie) he just act like he knows what he's doing but he know shit about cutting hair... I feel bad for the owner (who seems a nice guy) to employ suck a disaster. Even the back line is not straight which suppose to be a basic. I asked him to take half inch and he took 2 inches... My hair is short in the front and long in the back and looks like i cut it by myself. i never wrote a review but i couldn't stop myself in this one cause i can't look at the mirror. I've been here 3-4 times. It's a cool setting--full of sports memorabilia to match the masculine vibe of the shop. The staff is a bit too lackadaisical for my taste. Never really got a sense that they were listening to what I ask for. They would consistently cut my hair significantly shorter than I requested and seemed to rush through the cut. Seemed more concerned with showing off how quick and nonchalant and "cool" they can be with a cut than getting it right. Not a terrible cut, but I'm not a fan. read more

Was told by the barber that he wouldn't cut my son with special needs hair because of his hearing aide implant ... I explained it was a small spot ... showed it to him ... told him it won't hurt him but was still told no ... SUPER UNPROFESSIONAL WAY TO TREAT A 13yr OLD KID!!! I wanted to support them but they are not very good. The main barber tall black guy bald messed up my mustache and beard. I went twice because everybody deserves a second chance. But both times I was disappointed. I had to wait for him to show up even though I had an appointment. Granted it's the same guy but he's the guy in charge. If you read this and still go to get a haircut it's your fault. They also play music with profanity even though kids are there and the N word is carelessly tossed around. Not for me. This barbershop is young and hip while maintaining the ability to cater to all ages. I showed up with no appointment but was in the chair in about 30 minutes; and that is impressive due to the fact that they were extremely busy since it was the day before Good Friday! The barber's name was Jay and he took his time and expertly gave me a phenomenal shave & haircut. The hot towel at the end was a great touch. I usually get a cut from Ike who does a good job, except for the fact that he oils his clippers with wd40 right before he gives a cut which makes me break out. Today however I needed one last minute and he wasn't available, so they placed me with someone named Shotty. This guy had me wait 30 minutes past my appointment time, then rushed and messed up my haircut because he was hungry. Then he cut me several times. If they don't want a lawsuit they need to let this shitty barber go. Worse haircut I ever got. read more

I don't often give out 5 stars, and I would be hard pressed to give one out for a barber shop, but this place deserved it. First of all, it has that old school, manly feel to it: Army and sports memorabilia on the walls, spacious middle, some comfortable seating, sports on the TVs and a ton of magazines on the table, plus plenty of guys bs-ing "guy" things. I saw Josh within 5 minutes of my appointment time and he cut my hair exactly how I asked for it and really made it look neat and cleaned up the edges well with a straight razor and styled it with a bit of gel and cleaned up with some rubbing alcohol. Very friendly welcoming atmosphere. Price is $16 for a standard cut, which is a little higher than the competition, but you are sat down bad the focus of the attention for a good 20-30 minutes and they use the straight razor to clean you up instead of the typical 3 minute buzz around the edges while the barbers talk amongst themselves experience. These guys are very precise. Recommend making an appointment. read more

I took my 11 year old son who had longer shoulder length hair to try a new hair style with pictures of Romeo Beckham and Justin Bieber and was told she could do the hair cut and we left with a typical little boys haircut. Took my 2.5 son for a haircut. Chatted with Ike and Gina while we were waiting. Receptionist was young girl - didn't get her name but very nice. Ian cut my sons hair. They have this cool firetruck thing for kids to sit in. My son liked that but when the haircut started he screamed. He's not a fan of haircuts. Ian was so patient while little man was yelling and wrestling. Everyone in the shop was also really cool about it. Made me feel at home and not feel bad about my son yelling. I've had some bad haircuts, but this was by far the worst haircut I've ever had. My barber had no respect for anyone around him. He had me wait so he could eat a bagel before he cut my hair. When he finally got around to me, he proceeded to butcher my hair, cutting it so short there was no saving it. He cut a crooked line in the front of my head and ignored my request for rounded in the back. While he was butchering, he told his boss to fire him. I hope his boss does himself and us all the favor by getting rid of this guy. read more

Brought out 10 month old twins for their first haircut. They were super patient and kind. They cried but Ian's hand was steady and he did a wonderful job. They were moving their heads the whole time and he ran with it. Didn't get frustrated at all. We will definitely be taking our boys their going forward!
