    Wow, where do I even begin. When I first started wedding planning back in the beginning of 2019, I remember reading on a wedding page that having a day-of-coordinator was an absolute MUST. I came across Melinda as one of our venues preferred vendors. I called her and received in depth, on-the-spot detail of her services and responsibilities as a coordinator. After one conversation, I was immediately drawn to Melinda's energy, attention to detail, and passion. After solidifying a contract with her, we found out we needed to postpone like many others, due to covid. Melinda seamlessly transferred to our new wedding date with no questions asked. As the big day approached, Melinda was a great communicator and support system. She answered any questions I had about how things should go, and gave great insight on things that hadn't even crossed my mind. Communicating with Melinda was transparent and natural. There was no pressure or push to do things a certain way. She made me feel comfortable and confident our day was going to be absolutely perfect, and that is exactly what it was. Melinda is a confident and reliable leader. My husband and I come from loud, wild Italian/Palestinian families and our friends are pretty nuts too. We needed someone strong and assertive to run our rehearsal. Melinda was on time, organized, and led our group of 20+ through the walks/turns etc. We had no idea what to expect with the rehearsal, and she completely exceeded our expectations. Both of our parents were in awe at how well she ran the show. Out of all of my vendors, Melinda is my number one recommendation, as she by far made our wedding day everything we could have ever dreamed of and more. One part of our wedding I was really nervous about was my sweetheart table, as I didn't have time to put together a vision for it. Our sweetheart table completely blew me out of the water with how beautiful it looked. Its been 3 weeks since our wedding and I still can't stop going back to look at picture of it. In addition to this, she made sure all of my special touches were placed beautifully for the welcome table, desserts, etc, and even added some of her own in honor/in memory of my mom. Her love and care pours into her work. I feel lucky to have crossed paths with Melinda and have her beside us for the best day of our lives. Thank you Melinda. #FinallyFreij

    You hear the horror stories on a daily basis...what is supposed to be the biggest and happiest day of your life,  goes horribly wrong. Why? Because you didn't hire the right coordinator. You figured you could save a few bucks and do it yourself. Or perhaps your friend who is uber organized can pull it off. Not so much. Its not a party, its not a gathering, IT IS YOUR WEDDING! As a wedding photographer who has shot well over 100 weddings, I've witnessed just about every scenario; the drunk brother, the lost rings, late vendors, even a forgotten wedding certificate. What I haven't seen though, or hadn't until I had the pleasure of working with Melinda is seeing someone handle all those issues (true story btw) with such grace, ease and amazingly charming personality. You would hope every coordinator is organized, so that should be a given. But what you can't assume is a personality fit. A passion for their craft. And above all, for someone to love your wedding day as much as you do. In Melinda you have that, no doubt. I wish i were better with words so that I may properly convey the importance in having such a talented and caring coordinator by your side on your big day. But don't take my word on it, just give her a call and meet with her. Interview her like you would anyone else you would hire. Then you can come back and tell me i was wrong....but you won't! You're gonna love her, you'll agree once you call her and set up the meeting.

Morgan is pleasant and often had good ideas, but…read moresummer is extremely abrasive and disorganized such that their visions are not able to be materialized. The thing that really did it for me was their unfair billing practices. They collected a deposit from me for over $3,000, but did not disclose to me that it was non refundable. After a month of working with them and minimal progress being made, I tried to talk to calmly and politely talk with them. Summer was exceptionally rude and confrontational and told me that I don't have to work with them if I don't want to, but they would not be refunding the deposit. They first claimed that the deposit was to secure the date only, but after they received the deposit, they claimed it was to be used towards their own in-house exorbitantly priced rentals. Their ever changing terms and lackadaisical spirit, coupled with Summer's corrosive behavior and vacuous promises made them very unpleasant to work with. This is not how one should run a business. Avoid!

Morgan kindly met us at our venue and we collectively came up with a design and plan. They put together a quote, and collected a deposit to the tune of a few thousand dollars. We then found out that the rental prices were exorbitantly high and they were constantly changing things. The first time they came to our venue, they charged a $65 one-time fee, but then somehow, they added four of these $65 visits even though we didn't ask for that. We found nicer tables for 40% cheaper, better linens for over 100% cheaper, etc. Furthermore, the initial itemized quote that they sent to us had a huge math/addition error to the tune of almost $1,000. This isn't acceptable. We brought all of this up, and this is where summer got involved and things began to go south. They informed us that they do not collaborate with other rental companies and that we MUST use their ridiculously priced rentals. We initially hired these people as planners, we never agreed to exclusively use them for rentals. We had a discussion with summer regarding this, and she was extremely disrespectful and flat out rude. She informed us that they will not be offering a refund, and we could walk away from our deposit and find someone else. The issue is that they did NOT disclose that this was their refund policy and they did not get a contract signed. Communicating back and forth with summer has been excruciatingly painful and exhausting and a total waste of time. We brought on planners for convenience and to streamline our workflow. They are trying to steal from us and engage in unethical business practices and continue to insist that they are entitled to our deposit. I don't recommend anyone do business with them if you want to minimize headache. We went from wanting to make our lives easy and convenient to now having the added burden of dealing with a lawsuit.

When we were finally in a good enough place to start planning again, my number one priority was finding a venue I didn't feel like I was compromising on. I knew I wanted a venue with a fantasy vibe, something that would be unique and magical, possibly outdoors but not a priority. The cottages delivered all that and more! A lot of reviews state pictures don't capture the full beauty this venue holds, and they are right. It's easy to see the time, effort, and love that Jules and her team put into making this small section of Temecula a little slice of fairytale paradise, but what really makes this place extra special is Julie Edwards herself. From the very beginning I could tell that Jules was someone special. You could tell her number one priority was to make sure we had the wedding of our dreams. As someone who had never planned any type of event before, there were many times I felt a little in-over-my-head, but whenever I had a question or any concerns, I knew I could shoot Jules an email or text and she would be there, helping me through the process and easing my worries. I booked her early and we initially just did a couple meetings to discuss our vision and needs regarding coordination, vendor contracts and florals since we did not need a full-planning service, only partial. She was always upfront and gave me honest opinions especially when it came to where to splurge and save, and what could look good and what wouldn't. The last 2 months is where she really shined, helping us follow up with vendors on details, setting deadlines for me to book rentals, reviewing contracts and constantly doing sanity checks when I needed it. The day of, she came extremely prepared, everything flowed smoothly (except some technical issues on part of the venue) and she was great at going with the flow and just letting the vibe and natural mood of the day go, and fixing whatever problems I threw at her. We also had her as our florist and she truly out did herself- her prices were incredibly reasonable and she handled everything like a champ when her assistant got sick the day of the reception. First of all, how dare you ever tell a bride "no need for a day of coordinator, because we will provide one!" What an absolute joke. I set the tables, the isle was NEVER set up, I was dressed and guests arriving when a friend ran in and said "the isle isn't set up at all!!" IMAGINE BEING IN YOUR DRESS AND RUNNING TO TAKE CARE OF IT. The worst part, there were clouds in the sky so they moved my entire set up from the gorgeous courtyard to this ugly, unevenly paved tent. If I wanted to have my wedding in a tent, I would have had it at a friend's house in the backyard. The "day of coordinators" were late to the Venue and never set the dried lavender up to be tossed as we walked back from the alter. I even went looking for the girl, no where to be found. Finally found her.. in some back room.. looking so stressed. And for what? She didn't do anything.. I moved all the tables myself... I arranged the florals.. I set up the dessert tables... All in all, we put on smiles and I attempted to have a lovely time. Even though I was in full regret from ever deciding to use Tívoli. I needed support, and unfortunately, I never received it from the staff. Also, when people decide to do the family style dinner,(all the different foods on a platter) you should be using FLAT plates. Not raised plates that almost look like pasta bowls. All the food came out smushed together. Imagine waiting 10 years to be married, and then this is your experience... I included a photo for proof. We were there. And no tables in the insanely beautiful courtyard.... The whole reason I traveled 300 miles for this venue.

Everyone took care of us and we were surrounded from a real professional team. Our coordinator Stephanie was sweet and kind, we didn't need to think about anything during our day. Liliy, the captain banquet, was excellent, always checking if we miss something and if everything was good. We felt so special and all our guests were happy and enthusiastic of everything. The food was so good and the cocktails as well. We can't complain about anything. Thank you so much for this unforgettable day.
