We were in search of a new party rentals company as we are new to the area and I was planning our baby's first birthday. This company popped up so I gave them a try. Their items are in good condition and the drop off and pick up were fairly easy. The initial drop off had 2 banquet sized tables missing and the delivery men said they would bring the tables later that day. I called anyways just to be sure and that's when I spoke to Kelly. She is very bubbly and kind. I mentioned to her that a regular 6 ft table in place of the two smaller tables would also work and I preferred it but would take what I ordered as well. Luckily she was able to accommodate me and the table was delivered by end of day. The linens for the tables are not all quite the same white but it wasn't super noticeable. Also the outside patio heater looks like it's had a long life and has more dents in it than I would have liked. If the party were more casual I wouldn't have minded but it was a Garden Vintage Tea Party theme and the decorations were very elevated and elegant. I wished I would have upgraded or skipped the heater all together honestly. The two young women you call in and speak to to book your rentals are lacking the upbeat energy Kelly had. This is also partly why I don't remember their names because they didn't stand out to me and I felt like our conversations were always rushed and like they didn't particularly enjoy their jobs. I worked with Jovita, who was more than helpful, and decided to rent canvas market umbrellas. Her team drove to their warehouse in San Diego to get them, and within 24 hours, the forecast was clear (of course). I explained to Jovita that we would not be needing them afterall and that, per their standard protocol, we'd be glad to pay the restocking fee. To our surprise, they didn't even charge us that. Although I imagine it wouldn't have been costly, it was such a kind gesture and a silver-lining through a hectic week. At the last minute, rain entered into the forecast for my wedding and we needed a tent ASAP! This company was the only company in the Lake Elsinore area that had an entirely clear tent- roof and all! Kelley was so sweet and kind to work with on getting the sizing and a quote taken care of! 2 days before the wedding, the rain cleared from our forecast so we cancelled the tent. Cancelling the tent was super easy, my only complaint is that we were charged a 25% "restock" fee and got refunded the other 75%. I feel like that's a pretty hefty restocking fee for something that probably hadn't even been taken off the shelf. Other than that, our entire experience was really great and we would use them in the future should we ever need a tent in that area! :) read more

Be very careful of what you rent. Thoroughly inspect and take pictures of everything no matter how minor the damage or scratches are, or they'll hang you with it. They don't call to confirm for a delivery window at a venue so that you can inspect upon delivery, they just dump & run without a signature. Too bad for Abbey Party Rentals, because we do many events per year where we use rentals at different venues. We had a mediocre experience with Abbey Rents. We had booked a large tent and a couple of outdoor patio heaters for our wedding reception. Although they had been flexible with dropoff/pickup days&times, the biggest hiccup was their delivery day/time. We had agreed on tent delivery&setup a couple of days before our wedding which sounded great at first, but come the day of neither our coordinator or I could get an exact ETA on delivery aside from their normal business hours timeframe. Therefore, it ended being an all-day waiting game that basically ruined our entire day as it arrived past their business hours, late into the evening. Such delay caused our other vendors such as draping and tables/chairs for the tent to return the next day as it was too late to arrive all at the same time..that in turn, ruined our vision/plans for the next day in pre-wedding festivities. On our wedding day, although we were pleased with the tent setup, one of the heaters did not work at all so we were down to one for the evening which wasn't enough for our guests. I would only suggest better communication in ETAs w/contact info and ensure all rented equipment is tested prior to delivery. read more
