My Son was in a major auto accident, the left side of his body was crushed. We are hopeful and blessed that he has a place close to home he can do OT AND PT. I sustained a radial head fracture to my left elbow (and I'm left handed) in late January of this year. It was due to a fall while rollerskating. Yes, that's embarrassing to admit since I'm 43 and should know better. But that's not the point. I went to urgent care where they placed my arm in a hard splint, and they told me to follow up with ortho ASAP and while the technician who was putting the splint on I said I was glad I wasn't being casted and she said, "Well, that's next." You can imagine how frightened I was. I did not want my arm to be casted at a 90 degree angle. I thought this was the beginning of the end. Dramatic? Maybe. BUT- I was referred to an awesome orthopedist named Dr. Geer, and I'll put a review on his practice also, but he took X-rays, confirmed the fracture, and then proceeded to cut the hard splint and he took it off, flung it across the room, and said, "You don't need this." Go to Physical Therapy. Get back your range of motion as soon as you can if you want to enjoy a full recovery. It's up to you. Luckily I have amazing insurance. After meeting only 500$ deductible I went to PT twice a week for 6 weeks at Inbalance and with not ONE pain pill EVER, or a cast, or a sling, NOTHING, PT ALONE healed my elbow in record time, 5 weeks. When I went back to Dr. Geer he asked me I did it. I told him PT. Then he asked me for business cards for where I went and who I saw so he could be sure to refer future patients there because he was beyond impressed with my speedy recovery. But, I was very motivated. Anyway, Dr. Julie Cortina is the therapist I worked with. From scheduling my first appointment to discharge I have nothing but AMAZING things to say about this practice. They are courteous, prompt, reliable, competent, friendly, ethical, and I could go on and on. Dr. Cortina is amazing. She has the perfect balance of good bedside manner, if you will, and tough love, lol in that she knows how to work your injury just enough to where it may be uncomfortable for a few seconds but you don't realize it until it's too late and she's already done her thing. That's when you KNOW you're in good hands. I was seriously so impressed with every aspect of my therapy with Inbalance that I would refer EVERYONE I know there. If you can see Julie, all the better. But, ALL the therapists are doctorate-level Physical Therapists, and holding a doctorate degree of my own (in another field), I can say that there is something to be said for that when you find yourself in a field where it's not required. Those that do go that extra mile and earn the doctorate - it shows. The quality of care exceeded the standard I expected. Please, GO HERE, for ANY AND ALL Physical Therapy needs. You will NOT regret it!!!!!! If you care about keeping your body in good shape, and as we age we all get injured. When that happens you need to ensure you are going to the right specialists for treatment and recovery. I've been going to Inbalance for about 6 weeks now. It's a great therapy location! They are very thorough and they have helped me too start feeling better, after my surgery. Most of the staff is great. I really enjoy being welcomed by Kimberly. She is so helpful and always seems to have a smile on her face. I have noticed that couple of the front desk ladies weren't as pleasant. When I tried checking out with Carla, she was kinda short. It was a little uncomfortable almost. I also noticed her whispering to another co worker,in front of me, and I was kinda uncomfortable. But overall I'm very happy with the rest of the staff and all the different services they offer to help me get back on my feet. I highly recommend them!! read more

I have a bad rotator cuff that has plagued me for ten months. I went to Dr. Ashley, my chiropractor, and after several months she said she could do only so much. She referred me to Inbalance PT in San Tan Valley. I have gone four times now and I can feel a big difference!! The people there are great. They explain everything they are doing and what I need to improve my shoulder. I spend one hour each visit and they work on the shoulder each minute. They know their stuff, experienced, and great bunch of people. Thank you very much. I will keep going and do the exercises they lay out for me to do each day. And after each visit when I come home I use my wife's homemade salve that she made using doTerra oils to take down the soreness; it helps out a lot. read more

The therapists are pretty good, but beware of their business practices: After six months therapy following my husbands hip surgery, they changed the procedure without authorization from our insurance company. Furthermore, they took THREE MONTHS (January to March) to request the authorization. They were rejected and rejected twice more on appeals for improper therapy methods. Naturally, they collected over $600 for co-pays that they refuse to refund. read more

I absolutely love InBalance Physical Therapy! I started going there two months ago after hand surgery. Not only did they successfully get me back to no pain, mobility and stronger, but everyone, EVERYONE I dealt with was so awesome to me. It felt more like I was going to hang out with friends instead of getting therapy. Jesse, totally awesome! Inbalance was so helpful to me. I had a very bad back issue that put me in a wheelchair. I am glad to say that after about 6 weeks of PT I am greatly improved. All of the personnel are very friendly and so helpful. Jonathon was my PT and was very good at his job, giving me a set of exercises that I could do at home between visits. His work on my back and leg improved my ability to function. I would highly recommend this practice. read more

The PT staff is good, but their office and billing staff are completely incompetent. I wrote the partner a detailed email regarding "insurance/billing 101". They didn't verify his benefits, so they didn't know about the visit limit, and the M.D. prescribed 6 weeks of PT. They went several visits past it before they realized their mistake, and then cancelled his appointment without calling us, so we drove there for nothing wasting our time. They then sent in for an appeal to authorize more visits, but when I spoke to the billing department, I find out they didn't even call the M.D. to write a Letter of Medical Necessity to submit for the appeal? I had to tell them to do that, so then that was submitted after the fact. I also explained that they over billed us, and we are still waiting for our $24.00 refund. We still have not heard anything from them. So, we took it upon ourselves to continue the PT at home and at the local gym, and M.D. says we are good to go. I would not recommend this place for the headache the paperwork will cause you later. read more

Not only have I gotten full motion of my neck back but I have more movement than I expected. I had gone to them two years ago for a different injury so when my doctor said I needed PT this time, I knew exactly what place I was going to. read more
