We found a home within our price range and so we blindly messaged the listing agent and got connected with Adrienne (oddly enough, Adrienne even knew of someone that worked at the company I was starting at which moved us across the country!). We ended up passing on the particular home that connected us with Adrienne, but Adrienne had no shortage of other homes lined up. We also came to her with about ~25 homes that we found online (new builds/spec homes and existing) and she made sure we saw all of them. She drove my wife and I around for nearly 3 full days and was completely honest on pricing, distance, location and all over variables we needed to weigh when considering our big purchase. Adrienne is very well connected in the North Austin area and knew many of the builders and other agents, as well as the inventory they had, so home shopping with her was an absolute breeze (and very enjoyable too!). I've purchased 3 homes (including the one Adrienne has helped us with) and have worked with 4 different agents. My wife and I wholeheartedly agree that Adrienne has by far been the greatest Realtor that we've ever worked with. We've worked with agents that have thought of us as a "second-class" listing/buyer because of our price point or the location we were looking in. We've also worked with an agent that was very lackadaisical about our home listing which is extremely frustrating (and for homeowners selling a home, you do NOT want an un-enthusiastic agent!). Adrienne is the complete opposite; she is responsive, thoughtful and honest (which is a quality you absolutely want in a Realtor). Adrienne is the real deal - the best agent we've ever had and a true joy to work with. She's a wealth of knowledge and there was not a question she didn't know the answer to or that she didn't work to find the answer for (even well after the closing of the home, Adrienne was more than willing to answer texts/phone calls with questions we had). The option period, yes, you have right to ask inspector or roofer to come over, but again, a prior notice needed. --- you are a licensed real estate agent, you should know better than me. House is not empty without any furnitures. if you pull out listed photos, you could see there are living room couch, table, tv stand etc., I could choose where I sleep and how I sleep because it's still my property.

I want to set this up as fairly as possible since this is not an overall "good" review. I am extremely decisive, I move fast and with purpose. I had been reviewing houses and making lists on my own. There was a listing on redfin I wanted details on and that connected me to Keri Jackson. I never sought her out or had any recommendations. Keri offered to send me MLS listings, which were nothing more than I was finding across all the real estate sites. I figured to view homes I would need an agent, so why not her. Keri is very personable, very pleasant. The 2 days we went out to see the houses I had selected, were efficient. Like I said there are things I make calls on right away and can parse the remaining into ranks of desirability. On day 2 my husband joined us and this a very different dynamic. Keri also almost ran into the shoulder barrier on I35 because she was texting and driving with us in the backseat. After we selected the house, Keri was on things until the contract was signed. From there, things started to slide rapidly until it felt like she was a completely different person. My issues: She never found any houses for me to review, it was always a 1-way exchange, me to her. She had me drop of title payments instead of her, she left me to deal with the title company. She wasn't there for the closing. Never got that "awesome" cooler I was promised. She highly recommended a painter who went over budget and time and was no help in solving. She was supposed to deal with a disagreement about Water Softener, which no paperwork that was promised to show settled was ever presented to us. She never even came back for her key lockbox, after a year I threw it away. She sent more than 1 request for a review, never having asked if I was happy with our relationship. I felt like once the contract was signed, she secured her money and she moved on. She never really cared about us and our needs. The manner of the relationship left my husband and me feeling like we had been hustled, and that is a great way to ruin a new home in a new area during the covid experience. She was one of the few people we now knew in the area. We put our trust in her, felt like the next contract, and how busy she came first to her. Again I accept my own faults in the situation but felt an obligation to share our experience since it would have been useful to me.
