He walked our property and quickly established his expertise on the subject matter. Bryan designed a massive French drain system with several catch basins and a dry well. Our project also included installation of an expanded paver patio with re-grading and re-sodding of our property. Bryan's passion for his work and his keen eye for details made him a joy to work with. This company is very small and does not have the capacity, talent, experience, expertise, and bandwidth to handle projects larger than one bathroom remodel. I do believe and hope they can handle very small projects but nothing more. They certainly failed us miserably. Because of their size & staffing, Rodas Constriction LLC lack basic structure, organization, communication, discipline, order and quality. Forget about customer service. For example, I visited my house four times during the renovation process. I found windows fully "open", doors unlocked and the air conditioning or heaters on without anyone present. This led to leaks and moisture penetrating various parts of the house afterward. I communicated these issues to Rodas ownership every time without a favorable result. Nothing changed. In fact, Rodas ownership did not accept responsibility and continued their work. Although small, Rodas ownership is "unusually" arrogant and will never admit to wrongdoings, will never accept accountability and will never own they are being negligent. On top of the mismanagement, negligence, and disorganization, the most important problem was that Didier Enrique Rodas and his company, Rodas Construction LLC, failed to apply for and secure construction permits for the structural work as well as permits for plumbing, electrical and other work they had performed. They didn't get the permits to save money and to avoid to doing their work legally, appropriately, and effectively. This act of non-compliance is against all rules and regulations. And...once you pay Rodas Construction LLC in full, they will forever ignore and avoid your issues and requests. They certainly did for us. We still have several exposed drywall openings they had created and don't want to fix. Rodas Construction LLC is very small company with only a handful of employees. But with their VERY small size, they do have a Director of Marketing who amongst other soliciting activities, he manages social media work. Strange...right? For example, this marketing director will soon respond to this post with an elaborate list of excuses for having failed a client who had paid them in FULL. He is the person who responds to all of my complaints to Didier Enrique Rodas. This company will never accept accountability for its faults, wrongdoings and they will NEVER fix issues they had caused. I can write many pages on the issues I had faced with Rodas Construction LLC. Aforementioned remarks are high level insights so consumers are aware. BE EXTREMELY CAUTIOUS! I do take responsibility for trusting and selecting Rodas Construction LLC. I should have known better. I was desperate. But do your research, check multiple references and do NOT pay anyone especially the people until you are 100% certain about the quality of the work.

After many calls and efforts to acquire the plans from the architect, we received them and forwarded them to Michael. Then, we get an email from Susan today saying they are too busy to do the quote or pursue the project due to our timeline, which was just to start the project early next year. I think we dodged a bullet. I have no tolerance for people who give you the runaround and then don't follow through on their end. I run 2 businesses, and if I treated my clients like that, I would have been out of business a long time ago. If you don't have the time to do projects stop wasting potential clients time and just tell them up front that you aren't taking on any new projects.

We always had to text or call repeatedly to maybe get a message back. We waited and waited. No responses. Multiple texts and calls. Nothing. We waited 10 more weeks and then finally walked and got another round of estimates. Honestly, I'm so happy that we are working with another contractor. Because we actually sat down and talked about the design in lots of detail a few times, it evolved for the better and I feel much more at ease going in knowing exactly what we are getting. We now have a 24 x 14 porch, gabled ceiling, with Eze-Breeze windows, and I'm outside watching Monday night football, listening to rain and the crickets, mosquito-free, and could not be happier with what the company provided. I mentioned the gabled ceiling/roof a couple times because there were contractors that were reluctant with the design and steered us to a shed roof since it was easier for them. Travis had no problem offering and building to our vision. The quality exceeded expectations. We had companies quote twice as much, and companies ghost me after the initial visit. I would not be posting this lengthy review if I didn't recommend The Screen Porch Company. The realistic expectations for a new client are that there is a wait time that can vary with weather and don't expect 100% focus from Travis until it's your turn. When an issue arose with our neighbors, Dan (the owner) emailed my boyfriend to let him what happened. His crew came back the next day and finished up the work, no wait to be rescheduled. Also, when I deal with contractors I usually get emails that more resemble text speak from teenagers. So I appreciated that Dan's emails were professional and well-written.
