Many of the indian items are considered to be Vegan for example: dosa, idli, bhajiya, and others there might not be plenty but for sure they would have vegan options.

This bar is good for a quick drink but I wouldn't probably go for a top notch bar experience.

I've been to this fabulous establishment 8 times over the last 4 weeks. Anu, our hostess, is generous, kind, and attentive. After seating, she returns to all the tables ensuring that you are happy and satisfied. Occasionally I have asked for something, food or beverage, and each time she has brought it out. Servers are uniformly excellent. Yes, this is a buffet, and you can do the heavy lifting, but they are happy to get you plates of your favorite nibbles and meats. When the Naan is fresh from the clay oven, the servers are quick to bring out baskets. You wont make past the halfway point of items without needing a second plate to load up. The goat is delicious, not gamey, tender and perfectly seasoned. Go for the Chicken 65, kebabs, chaat, or slurp down some Mango Lassi - their version of a Mango smoothy - cool and sweet. The wealth of choices would allow you to take a gastronomical journey across all of India's cuisine; Sambhar from the South, Gobi Manchurian from deep eastern influences, Chana masala, from the north.. of course, Chicken 65 that comes from somewhere, nowhere, but best when from the 101 kitchens. This is the place to come if you are new to Indian fare, or if you are introducing it to other newcomers. Kids would love this and its such a welcome change to bring such a delicious introduction to healthy alternatives. Cost is affordable and is the sort of thing where bite after bite you are wondering how its possible to create this experience for 15 bucks. Raman, the owner, clearly focus on quality, flavor, and creating the best kind of experience. A place you want to return to. I love the flavors of India 101 and the staff/Management is really friendly and helpful. Being Indian, I like the fact that the food is absolutely authentic and healthy.. This is my favorite indian restaurant. food is definitely the most enjoyable and flavorable. Try the biryani and butter chicken and others I cant say enough. You will want to keep coming back for more and more. I promise You won't be disappointed, your stomach will be happy and your wallet too, take it from me :) I have even frequented their for the lunch buffet when I used to work in the area and I would totally recommend the place to others. Must Try- Best Quality Indian Food Ever in Dallas area! I love the Food at India 101, the ambiance is fabulous and they have very good customer service who are patient to all there customers. I like the way they serve there weekend buffet specials according to the region specialties were all staff members are dressed up traditionally to respect the culture. I have eaten in many Indian restaurants and this is one of the best I have ever tried. The service was very friendly and efficient. Food arrived piping hot and in good time. This is one of the most delicious Indian meals we have ever eaten. The menu is extensive and varied and caters for all tastes of Indian cuisine.The menu contains a good number of house specialties which are a cut above the normal menu offerings. I tried many of these so far and it was delicious. The restaurant is very clean and well maintained. Must try is Agni bar.. sitting area ambiance is perfect for date nite events too :) We also organized party here in there banquet hall and event was well managed by their staff. Hi All, Hope this review will be useful for anyone who organizing event in Aralia BQ Hall. Event Manager Maitte was very responsive and patience enough for discussing more than once. Lalith was very professional and reachable any time for discussing our preferences. He came up with wide variety of menu options that perfectly suits our needs. Best part was, we didn't hear 'NO', 'Cannot', 'Difficult' from this place. They fulfill all our needs. Aralia BQ Hall, best in town with excellent features and capacity that can accommodate 200+ guest, mikes, 2 projectors, hdmi, Aux features. The highlight was their customize lighting, you have options to choose different colors. Food quality was great. I would like to thank Maitte and Lalith to make the event successful. From the moment I walked in, the crowded space made it impossible to move around and enjoy my meal. The food itself was a letdown, with dishes served cold and lacking any taste or noticeable flavor. Even the most basic dishes, like the naan, were stale and unappetizing. The staff appeared overwhelmed and disorganized, unable to keep up with the sheer volume of customers. India 101 has a huge variety of food. Everyone will find something they like. Everything I tried I loved. The naan bread is fresh and tastes fantastic. The Paneer tikka masala will always be my favorite! The restaurant's interior also combines a modern and traditional feel. India 101 is a great restaurant with delicious food and a great atmosphere. Great food; the lunch buffet is huge. Went for a group lunch from work. We had 7 people and they didn't have a table big enough for us - understandable. Got placed in the back room with another group of of 8. They were still cleaning it when we sat to eat so it was strong cleaning fluid smell for a bit. At lease we knew it was clean - lol. The buffet has so much variety which works really well for big groups where everyone wants to try different things.. my fav was the badam (almond) milk that they serve on the weekends. The food was OK, except that everything tasted like curry. The wait staff was different. There was evidently only one salt and pepper shaker in the restaurant. I have never been to buffet with that many number of dishes. The number of meat dishes were less compared to vegetable dishes. There were many sweet items , lassi, soups and other regional indian dishes that you will like. Be ready to pay $20 for buffet. read more
