I used to really like Everest food especially their worked tossed noodles. The food quality has really declined. Few weeks ago when I visited I ordered some chilli chicken and chicken chow mein. The chicken tastes horrible. It was dry had a very weird smell. I wouldn't be shocked it was precooked from several days ago which was tossed in with the noodles. I respectfully asked our server to take it back and she kept arguing with me. We landed up throwing the whole plate. They charged me for it despite them owning it wasn't at par to good quality standards. I wouldn't highly recommend that you visit this place at your risk. There are plenty of better options around the area that serve Nepali food right around corner that you might be off giving your to. read more

I used to eat at this restaurant. The restraint is cozy and the staff were nice! But, I stopped going here after multiple inconsistencies in the menu, it's always a hit or miss. My last experience while dining was horrible as the chicken steam momo tasted so bad. The wait time was horrible and I took my friends there for the first time to try nepali food. Talk about first impression. The momo was stale and we just couldn't finish it. Then, recently I thought I'd give them another try as it had been few months. I did a to go order of momo and samosa. Samosa were okay not good but just okay. Momo was okay but the momo jhol(sauce) was stale and it was spoilt. I ordered jhol momo and the jhol (sauce) that came with it smelled so bad that I had to throw up. I tasted before doing the smell check. It was tasteless like somebody had just put water on the regular achar and send it out. Plus it was STALE!!! I don't know how many days old the jhol was but never ordering from this place again! This is just bad restaurant practice! You should always check your food before sending it out! Based on my own experience thus far, this location is a great place to visit if you're seeking great Indian Himalayan food. Although the outside of the building did look a little rough, the interior had a pleasant atmosphere, so I'd advise you to not let that deter you. Nevertheless, the food was excellent. I started my lunch with some chicken 65, a dish that is popular in Nepal, and let me just tell you that this was some of the greatest chicken I've ever tasted. It was extremely crunchy and spicy, and eating it made me sweat. As a result, I'll add that if spicy cuisine is not your thing, I'd advise staying away from this establishment. You could also just ask for no heat, but where's the honor in that? I also got some paratha aloo after that, which was delicious, but I wish they had cheese paratha. Nevertheless, it was pleasant and complemented my main meal, a taxmax curry that was the chef's special. It had lamb, spinach, black lentils, yellow lentils, and a mouthwatering masala curry. If you're not a big flavor explorer, I'd say this might not be your cup of tea, as most of the people I shared my plate with didn't like it, but I'm sure it's just because they don't like this sort of food.  Overall, this restaurant was good; the food portions were sizable and reasonably priced, so I'd recommend it to anyone in the area seeking good, authentic Indian Himalayan food. read more

Came here with a friend on a Thursday afternoon at around 5 and got seated right away at a booth. We were really excited to try some traditional Nepalese food after reading some of the online reviews. We each ordered the Nepali thali (I got chicken and she got mutton), which comes with rice, curry, daal, takari, saag & aachar, and we also got the chili chicken momo (dumplings stir-fried with vegetables & chef special spicy hot sauce) and a side of regular naan. I got the mango lassi and she got the sweet lassi. Pretty much everything we ate was amazing; the food was flavorful (though my chicken curry was a bit on the salty side, and I think because I asked for mild there weren't enough spices in it to add sweetness or counterbalance the salt), and the lassi was great. The naan was buttery and fluffy. The real star of the show was the momo, though -- the flavor of the chili and the crispiness of the dumplings were perfect. Serving sizes are huge; both of us didn't manage to finish our thali plates, so I'm very pleased that I was able to take enough food home for lunch tomorrow. Servers were very attentive and nice; the one serving our table gave us a bunch of to-go boxes so we could keep our curries separate, and the lady at the front who rang us up asked us how our food was. Next time I come back I may try the Indian thali. All in all a very positive experience! read more

Discovered this place through a Nepali friend of mine who approves! We called in prior to arriving for dining in in order to make sure that our dumpling appetizers would be ready right as we arrived! They were incredibly accommodating with us, let us choose our seating, and hooked my friend up with a charger for her phone! It was a drizzly, cold evening and the warm and inviting atmosphere coupled with perfect comfort food was absolutely soothing for the soul. I was awed by how generous they are with portions and pricing! They provided a complimentary appetizer of a type of chutney (sauce) paired with papadams, a type of crispy, chip-like bread typically dipped in the sauce. The sauce wasn't the best I've had, but can't complain too much about something free haha. We ordered chai (tea) as well but the elaichi (cardamom) aroma was maybe a little stronger than I would've liked and it was a bit cooler in temperature than what I ideally would've preferred. Now for the dumplings! Perfection. I've never had the Nepali variety before, but they are different (I would say better) than the Chinese ones I've had! They're a little spicy, but very well flavored; they were paired with an excellent sauce! We were wowed that one order had about 10 dumplings a pop! All for only about $5!!! A plate of dumplings can definitely be a meal for a single person! As if the dumplings weren't enough already to stuff us silly, it came with a soup! It was warm, had the perfect amount of spice, and had some onions as garnish. Again, really good flavor and aroma! After all of that, I was too full to order additional food, but my friend ordered a platter - type dish called a "thali". It was a sampler dish that came with basmati rice, veggies, chicken curry, daal (lentil soup that is eaten with the rice), and some additional garnishes and flavoring components. I've been here twice because a friend recommended it. It's been hit and miss on the food but one thing consistent and that's the poor service. First time I had to ask 3 x for the rice that was included in my entree. Finally got it after I was finished eating. Second time dining here. My food always comes steaming hot despite it being delivered, which is a good thing! I would give it five stars if they would give you naan along with your order instead of having to choose. Malaysian food is very similar to Bengali and Indian food, but they have some distinctive spices that differentiate from the classic Indian restaurants. OMG this is my new favorite Indian restaurant! I recently moved to the area and I'm so glad I decided to stop in for dinner tonight. All of the food is made from scratch and you can taste the quality. I had the Chicken Tikka Marsala and it was the best that I have ever had. The portions were plenty and the prices were very affordable. The service was impeccable and they offer a full bar. I had a glass of Scotch which goes surprisingly well with Indian food. We were 5 people and they were offering us a table of 4 when another table for atleast 6 people was vacant and had some stuff on it like laptop or something.
