I used to eat at this restaurant. The restraint is cozy and the staff were nice! But, I stopped going here after multiple inconsistencies in the menu, it's always a hit or miss. My last experience while dining was horrible as the chicken steam momo tasted so bad. The wait time was horrible and I took my friends there for the first time to try nepali food. Talk about first impression. The momo was stale and we just couldn't finish it. Then, recently I thought I'd give them another try as it had been few months. I did a to go order of momo and samosa. Samosa were okay not good but just okay. Momo was okay but the momo jhol(sauce) was stale and it was spoilt. I ordered jhol momo and the jhol (sauce) that came with it smelled so bad that I had to throw up. I tasted before doing the smell check. It was tasteless like somebody had just put water on the regular achar and send it out. Plus it was STALE!!! I don't know how many days old the jhol was but never ordering from this place again! This is just bad restaurant practice! You should always check your food before sending it out! And please each and every person who goes to eat here, check your food, do a smell test before you put it in your mouth!

Every time I come here the food is so delicious! And the ladies that work here (which is strange, I just realized it's always an all female staff) always take amazing care of me, as well as the other customers, you can tell by the smiles and chatter! All of the flavors are on point! I get a thali every time, because I like variety, and Everest NEVER DISAPPOINTS!!! If you like Nepalese/Indian/South Asian cuisine, you literally CAN NOT LOSE at Everest!

Based on my own experience thus far, this location is a great place to visit if you're seeking great Indian Himalayan food. Although the outside of the building did look a little rough, the interior had a pleasant atmosphere, so I'd advise you to not let that deter you. Nevertheless, the food was excellent. I started my lunch with some chicken 65, a dish that is popular in Nepal, and let me just tell you that this was some of the greatest chicken I've ever tasted. It was extremely crunchy and spicy, and eating it made me sweat. As a result, I'll add that if spicy cuisine is not your thing, I'd advise staying away from this establishment. You could also just ask for no heat, but where's the honor in that? I also got some paratha aloo after that, which was delicious, but I wish they had cheese paratha. Nevertheless, it was pleasant and complemented my main meal, a taxmax curry that was the chef's special. It had lamb, spinach, black lentils, yellow lentils, and a mouthwatering masala curry. If you're not a big flavor explorer, I'd say this might not be your cup of tea, as most of the people I shared my plate with didn't like it, but I'm sure it's just because they don't like this sort of food.  Overall, this restaurant was good; the food portions were sizable and reasonably priced, so I'd recommend it to anyone in the area seeking good, authentic Indian Himalayan food.

This place never disappoints! The servings are always huge, full of flavors and at great prices! They had naan this time around (it came after the pic was taken). The only thing is that I wish they had a central A/C unit because the portable fans they use aren't enough to cool everyone off, especially if the place is packed. It's so warm that even the ice melts as soon as the water comes to the table

Celebrated my birthday here with 10 friends. The service was a bit slow but the food was pretty good. Ordered a lot of food and was satisfied with the cost. I don't think I would overwhelmed the waitstaff again with 10 and will keep it under 4 for a better experience.

This is a really delayed review, but this place is amazing. The food here is flavorful and oh so spicy. Like even their mildest thing had me teared up. Even when I was sweating and crying, I was still scooping more. I wish I had written the review earlier because I sort of forgot what we ordered, but I do remember we ordered momos that came with a spicy soup and a chicken tikka masala. I honestly think that anyone who had something negative to say about this place probably wanted something more americanized.

I love the decoration inside this restaurant. It's a small restaurant but the mirrors on the walls makes it look like it has more space. The food was great and their garlic naan was also a hit. The service was good.

I had ordered Chicken momo and Chicken Hakka noodles. Omg, chicken Hakka noodle was dipped in soy sauce and sent, and the chicken smelled super bad, horrible, and the veggies were burnt. Chicken momo was super dry, and the momo wrapper was super hard as if the momo was very old and microwaved and sent. Big disappointment.

    Chicken Tikka Masala

The food was great, it inspired me to get artistic with my food and just brought the kid out in me or something idk. It, dude, idk it like brang (is brang a word?) its brang, idk, playing with your food. 10/10 would eat here again next time I'm in irving. And the staff was VERY friendly. (Im on Adderall).

The food was amazing and flavorful but the restaurant was small and there is little space to move that bothered my dad . However, it was clean and nice.

Are these guys still open? They're not answering their phone.

We'd visited TX in Apr 2022. They were open then. Unfortunately, I cannot confirm for the present. They were reasonably busy, and had just one server and the manager even we went, so could be that's why they don't pick up. I'd try again.

Of course, I ordered the chicken steam momo, which is consistently good as always. I also tried the Timur chicken for the first time, and it was really good...so good that I ordered a second one. The presentation and flavor were great. The first order was slightly crispier than the second, so the flavor profile felt a little different. Both were good, but I do wish the texture was more consistent. I also got the Badel Sadeko (marinated wild boar sauté), which I always order. It was excellent as usual, consistent in both presentation and flavor. Definitely one of my favorites on the menu. Now for the disappointment: the chicken thali. Unfortunately, it did not meet expectations. The rice tasted like it was a day old. It came with a cauliflower and potato curry, which was okay. The dal (lentil soup) also tasted like it had been sitting for a while, almost as if some ghee was added right before serving to freshen it up. The biggest letdown was the chicken curry. It was flavorless and watered down, very disappointing compared to the other dishes. The thali also came with saag (mustard), achar, and a gulab jamun (probably canned) for dessert. Those were fine, but nothing special. p.s. The service was perfect! Our server was the sweetest!

This time I went a bit all out and ordered the butter chicken momo, creamy Sichuan momo, tandoori momo, steamed momo, and the Delhi masala momo. Honestly, this visit was way better. Last time the biggest issue was the sauce, it just wasn't enough and everything felt pretty dry, but this time they really fixed that and the sauces actually showed up, which made a huge difference. Everything tasted solid overall, though it really depends on what you like since the flavors are pretty different across the menu. The momo wrappers are on the thicker side, so if you're someone who prefers a thinner skin, just keep that in mind because that was the case with all the ones I tried. My favorite ended up being the tandoori momo, even though it was a bit salty, the flavor was really good. I usually don't go for butter chicken momo, but that one surprised me, it was actually a hit and everyone at the table liked it. The Delhi masala momo was vegetarian and still packed with flavor, and the creamy Sichuan momo was also pretty good. The place was pretty busy when we went, but the service was quick, so overall this time it felt like a much better experience.

I've never had nepal food before and i must say i can't believe i waited all this time to taste it. We ended up getting the Butter Chicken Momo and the Himalayan Kitchen Special Chow Mein (Beef) both for around 34 bucks. I know its a bit pricey for something that's fast and not at a full service restaurant, but i think it was worth it. The burst of flavor was intense on the momos... I really enjoyed the sweet and umami taste of the butter chicken sauce. one hack is to take a small bite of the momo and then fill the inside with sauce and then eat the whole momo. The chow mein was also really good and has a nice kick to it. This place is fairly close by my office and i'll be back.

I tried... after a long wait of it telling me it was "working on it", it finally failed. When I called, I encountered the expected language barrier, so I decided I'd just go to the place and show them the order on my phone to avoid any confusion. Ambiance was just as expected. Inside a gas station convenience store. No frills. Perfectly fine by me. The first guy that showed up to help me was too busy cooking and sent some woman over. I tried to place my order with her. When I said "pork" for the momo, an option listed on the menu, I was told "no pork". Apparently only chicken. Then I tried ordering the chicken biryani. Pretty sure I pronounced it correctly--or at least close enough since it's worked just fine at other places. She had no idea what I was wanting. I showed her the order on my phone. I think she was telling me it was also not available; I really wasn't sure. Unfortunately, I had to leave. I wasn't feeling the "friendly 5-star experience" that other reviewers mentioned as well as what I've always experienced at the other Nepali restaurants in the area that I've been to. My daughter lost her first tooth at that pub, such good memories of years past. There are still Guinness signs hanging behind the bar. Seeing those old signs brought a single tear to my eye. One door closes and another opens. The restaurant that now calls the old pub their new home is great! All is good with the new place, you might even say great. The interior is not that of a pub anymore. It has been completely redone and the dining room is quite nice. I wouldn't call it a quiet cozy little romantic restaurant, but it could be if that's what you need. I would be willing to take my kiddos to the new restaurant, as long as the six-year-old boy is acting like a human on the day we decide to go. There is a full bar too. I feel that anyone can stop in for any occasion a fit right in. I don't remember the names of the dishes that my wife and I had for dinner but the food was very good. We kept it simple and we both had chicken dishes. If you want to step out and explore culinary culture they offer many appealing options. The food was fresh and light. The spices that they use are aromatic and flavorful. I am guessing that there is a strong Nepali influence.
