Spoke with angler about his catch, seems the river is full up with them crazy jumping asian carp and no matter how many he and his partner take out (and they take out alot) there's more than enough left to suck every ounce of joy out of life on the river.

He claimed that I'd get good results at reasonable rates there. Well, I am certainly glad I took his advice! I called them and was told I could drop my boat off that same day. (I was used to being told it would be a number of days/weeks just to drop it off, then who knows how long before they could eventually get it into their shop.) I dropped my boat off late that afternoon on my way home to St. Louis. While filling out my work order, the cashier, Marie, even suggested that I could walk into their shop and speak to the mechanics, Mike and Kevin, about the sputtering problem I was having with my outboard. (I felt that was a nice touch.) They ended up calling me around noon on the second day to tell me my boat was fixed and ready for pick up. My total bill was a whopping $152.00!!! I definitely will have my boat serviced from now on at West Perry Boat & Motor!

Before heading into downtown Hannibal, we decided to stop at Lover's Leap, and I think it was a…read moregreat way to begin our visit. Located just south of town, it is fairly easy to reach by car and has plenty of parking available near the overlook. From the top, you are rewarded with a beautiful panoramic view of downtown Hannibal, the Mississippi River, and the surrounding countryside. It really gives you a sense of the city's location along the river and helps put the rest of your visit into perspective. The overlook itself is well maintained and features a historical plaque telling the legend of Lover's Leap. Whether the story is fact or folklore, it is an interesting and romantic tale that adds a special touch to the visit and is worth taking a few minutes to read. One feature I particularly enjoyed was the pair of large heart-shaped sculptures covered with hundreds of "love locks" left by visiting couples. It was fun to walk around them and see all the locks that people had placed there over the years, adding another layer of history and memories to the site. The peaceful setting, scenic overlook, and interesting legend make this much more than just a roadside stop. Overall, I thought it was a very enjoyable visit and an excellent first stop before exploring Hannibal. If you're visiting the area, I would certainly recommend taking a few minutes to stop here, enjoy the story, admire the view, and capture a few photographs before continuing into town. Enjoy!

I bought it from them. Told me I had to pay 375 dollers in order for them to pay for the labor, ok fine. New transfer case was supposed to be in the following tuesday, did not come in so I decided to call, well than they tell be it'll be another two days after telling me the day before it would be in that next day. But instead of calling to let us know it's not gonna come in, they just left us in the water wondering, good thing I called because the vehicle would of been on my lift for two days. Needless to say, this place has went down they are terrible at communicating and they do not honor they're warranties properly, they tried to get out of it by saying it's from a third-party, and than by saying it's aftermarket. But that doesn't matter it's not my third-party it's theirs. Also, it was still a brand new part. So just be cautious when you're shopping with this place. Also the man was cery rude to my receptionist.

I had an alignment check on my grandson's car after buying five tires. The alignment check was…read morethrown in because we bought four more tires at once so I thought that was a good deal. I thought it was an alignment not just an alignment check. I do want to note that I have bought tires from this place for the last 10 years on different vehicles and I have always been satisfied with the tires quality and cost. at this time, however, I am not satisfied at all. The tires are wonderful as expected. Going in the tires were very bare and there was a bubble on one and so it was a slow unsafe drive to get there. It was pulling to the right and I had a wobble in the back because there was a pretty substantial bubble. It was a used car I had just purchased for my grandson. My grandson was so excited driving back home. He showed me look grandma. He very carefully took his hands off the wheel while holding them close and showed me that the car was tracking on the road really well and following it and so I wasn't sure if we really needed the alignment but I thought well. An alignment is always a good thing to check. The ride was really smooth and wonderfully. So we're going for the day of the alignment you have to schedule that and if you don't schedule it, they don't worry about it, which was a red flag. It says it's provided with the purchase and they know you've got all these so you would think they would schedule the alignment and the tires being put on together.... but no, you have to actually ask for it or you don't get it. OK so we asked for it and had to schedule it for another day so we came back a few days later during which time my grandson had been thrilled that the car was driving so well. So yesterday we got the alignment check and discovered it was just a check, not an alignment . And then the guy called my brother and my grandson back to explain what was wrong with the car and what he found in the alignment and that it probably would drive OK but that if we had any issues with it, we should bring it back in to be fixed. So we left and just beginning stages. My grandson was concerned and tells me grandma something is wrong and I asked him what he says it feels like the wind is buffering the car, don't you feel the slight wobble? And he lightly let loose of the wheel and it started turning to the right And I'm like what the heck? So we had to go to visit a friend later yesterday and the whole drive, we both realize that something was wrong. he has to pay attention to the wheel and it only goes straight if the wheel slightly turned and there is a slight wobble and it pulls to the right. So why all of a sudden is the acting like it's out of alignment when it was driving so perfectly the last few days after getting the tires? I honestly feel like the man did something to the car to make it need to be fixed. Can I prove it? No, but I certainly feel like that's what happened and while I will go to Mike's Tires for tires, I don't think I'll ever go there again for any kind of mechanical work or alignment and now I feel like I'm gonna have to figure out Where some places besides them that does alignments because now the car needs an alignment where before it was fine
