The wave pool was closed due to algae--something we wouldn't expect on Labor Day weekend, when everything should be at its best. Several of the slides were leaking and in disrepair, the golf carts were not well-maintained, and the most disappointing issue was the lack of staff throughout the property. Over the years, we've watched the quality of this property steadily decline, which is a true shame because it was a wonderful place when we first started coming. Our kids are now aging out of this type of trip, but we wanted to leave this review for families considering a visit. Sadly, we can no longer recommend it--spend your money elsewhere at a property that is better maintained and staffed.

We are not from the area or even the same state so we were not with the in crowd. They were more than happy to take our reservation and money, and when we arrived, we saw a very cute camp office and store. We traveled past nice clean grassy campsites and according to their site they have activities and amenities. When we checked in, we were given nothing, no information, map, directions nothing but we were told to follow the lady in the golf cart it is a large turn to get into the site. We followed all the way through the campground past the nice open sites, a pool and playgrounds for her to come to another road and she stopped in the middle of the road as soon as she turned. Very confused my husband got out of the truck for her to tell him this is your site. We are parked in the middle of the gravel road next to box trailers in storage and broken tables from other sites. There was a gazebo in the middle of the grass area that edged the road. It has a ring doorbell camera pointed directly at our "site". Our camper was boxing in other campers that had wooded sites on the edge. They physically could not move their rigs if they had to because we were in the road. According to their website and reviews they have activities, offer breakfast, and it is a great place to make memories. We would not know, paid to camp on the road in their storage, on rocks, with hook-ups.

Felt safe Full hookups Kid friendly Helpful staff, very friendly Close proximity to interstate Stocked fishing ponds, saw 2, although smaller one nothing hit on and lily pads. Horses for kids to look at. Fire pits and picnic tables Tight sites, standard KOA size Design friendly for big rigs, we appreciated this Pretty level sites Places to walk and explore with family. They even planted a bunch of fruit trees, very nice private property with friendly owners/hosts. Nicely redone bath house immaculately clean and beautiful, lady cleaning it was very nice also. Top is your picnic table is on right and septic on left. Somewhat confusing but the tables were marked. Septics not. Rooster tails and curly tails did well with bass in larger pond near cabins in chartreuse color. Thank you for a beautiful place that p stay the night. I would absolutely consider for a travel contract here Overall I would recommend for all ages.

Was told by the proprietor that he couldn't find a plumber, toilets had been overflowing for awhile. Although I asked for a spot close to the bathroom, (glad I didn't get one) the road to the spot I was headed to was being graded as we entered. The camp was half empty and many concrete pads were available, I was given a gravel one. We have traveled across the country and this was then worst camp we have ever been to, we won't be back, would have been better if we just pulled into a truck stop on I-70. Without working restrooms, I thought I. MIght have been offered a refund, but won't be back and I hope others find this helpful.
