During the time of COVID-19, Indian PanFlame offers takeout service. The menu consists of curry, rice, tandoor and vegetarian specialties. I ordered Tandoori Chicken (chicken with bone marinated in a yogurt mixture and cooked in clay oven, served with rice and salad). The serving size was plentiful and the chicken was very tasty. When I asked for restaurant recommendations at my hotel, we were told to go to a couple chains in the area. Luckily my colleague is more adventurous than that so we decided to check out PanFlame after seeing it on Trip Advisor. I am SO glad we did. I definitely didn't expect to find excellent Indian food in Brooks. Upon arrival, we were quickly seated. There was only one other occupied table at the time but it looked like a steady stream of deliveries went out the door throughout the evening. There were tons of vegetarian and vegan options so it was tough for me to choose what to order but eventually I settled on a mango curry with garlic naan and rice. The portions were extremely generous. I had trouble finishing everything! I was really impressed with how flavourful my curry was. It was a great combination of sweet and spicy. I also loved how the naan was covered in fresh garlic. This is such a hidden gem and I would definitely recommend it to anyone passing through Brooks looking for something a little more interesting than chain food. read more

Fantastic flavors, fantastic service. Some of the best Indian fare I've had in a while. Better than most of what I've found in Los Angeles so far - and Brooks is a tiny town. Stopped in for late lunch before heading to Dinosaur Provincial Park. The food and service was great! We ordered the mixed appetizer platter, tandoori chichen and garlic naan. We were stuffed and didn't even eat dinner that night! Flavors were delicious, everything was fresh and hot. Highly recommend this establishment! read more
