I bought a chain for 50 dollars, I got the the counter and I gave them the money but before he even confirmed the purchase I asked to switch it because it was very long. The man said no refunds and I have gone dozens of times and seen people get there money back. This place is racist and discriminates because I am Asian. 0 out of 5. Horrible customer service. Fine antique mall. Very clean and the vendors will change things up every so often to keep their booths looking stocked with interesting items. I only visit here occasionally, but each time has been a pleasant experience, and I've never left empty-handed yet. The staff here are very friendly and welcoming. Prices are good, most of the time, but that's solely at the vendor's discretion. Regardless, it's great to see what oddities show up with each new visit. read more

My Review that sparked the comment from the owner of this business. This review is after only one visit, I was quite impressed with the wide variety of antiques, collectibles and memorabilia however the pricing is a little ridiculous when you consider the condition of a lot of the pieces. I also found that a lot of the nicer pieces were locked in the displays and the tags were not readable or were flipped hiding the details and more importantly the prices. I agree with one of the other reviewer the staff is constantly in the way, one of the younger member of the staff was acting as if he was a shopper and was blocking the entry to the booths, if you are paranoid about shoplifters add more real cameras and train your staff to stay in the aisles out of the customers way. I found a number of pieces I really liked and would have considered purchasing or at least asked about a better price but the pieces were so expensive that I figured it was a waste of time so I left and definitely was a little disappointed. I am sure I will return and hopefully it's a little less crowded with people browsing and it did seem there were many more people browsing than making purchases. I really think they need to meet with their vendors and rethink the prices, of course if the owners are making their money on renting the spaces instead getting a cut on the sales I don't think anything will change... read more

Large mall with a good mix of items. One booth of restored MCM furniture that was gorgeous. Some booths of shabby chic items.

I love the multiple choices of items found in this antique mall. Ive found several of my antique yard art items here in this mall. It's in a strip mall downtown in Melbourne Fl. The staff here has been very friendly each time i go shopping. The mall is clean and most important doesn't smell like an old antique shop. If you plan going don't forget to try to negotiate some off the price. I usually get 15-20% off retail prices off my yard art items. They're always nice enough of them to wrap my concrete items to take with me. For old people like me they clean bathrooms. Good luck on your hunt for your next antique. read more

There are so many vendors with so many styles and collectibles you could spend HOURS looking around and reminiscing (and they LET YOU!) Omg.. this little random mall has been sitting here for so long & I finally decided to walk in and see what they had, not expecting too much. To my surprise, it was so beautifully kept with booths of really nice antiques. From books from the 50s , to jewelry, homemade soaps, picnic baskets, vintage purses & scarves (some name brand like d&b, Cartier, Hermès ), nice furniture and ofc antique things. You really just have to take time to walk thru and soak it all in. An amusement park for the eyes! This place is FULL of amazing vintage and antique goodies. I went for an hour yesterday and two hours today, and I was able to find some steals! A silver plate for $5, a ornate orange glass for $2, two colored wicker wall hangings for $7 apiece. Love that the place is full of different venders, so you can really find exactly what you're looking for because of the variety. The vendors are also often in the mall, so you can talk to them about specific pieces. May be stopping in again during my time at Melbourne. read more

I should have read some of the reviews first before wasting my time in visiting Indian River Antiques. It was more like a flea market than quality antiques. I couldn't understand why the staff was so preoccupied with walking the store like crazy. One of their staff members even took the time to let my sister and I know that there were cameras in the store. The same day we visited Grant Antique Mall and not once were we told they had cameras, and boy they have vintage antiques. If you are looking to have a unique experience, go treasure hunting in one of the other antique stores. Staff is obnoxious and rude. I will never go back to Indian River Antiques, I mean Flea Market. read more

Went back again. They had a huge sale this week so did some early holiday shopping. The place is HUGE! Great diversity of retro, collectibles, art, jewelry, shabby chic, antiques anD more. Inventory is changing frequently, so you should visit often. I also suggest wearing comfortable shoes as you're likely to spend a few hours there! It feels like the Walmart of vintage or antique shops. They have several vendors with newly packaged items from China like plastic easels and tons more. It looks like a Walmart air conditioned garage sale. We bought a piece there with a tag that stated 1850 piece. Bought as a gift. Found out later it was a $6 item off Amazon to look old and was being sold and tagged as over 150 years old and priced at $80 something. I was appalled and cannot trust anything there now. This may be a exception but the vendor has several booths in there and has been there for years. Just make sure you know antiques and can date them or pick out reproductions. It is clean and bright. I just like real antiques and not garage sale taped off boxed areas. read more
