I have been going to Village Thrift for many years. It was the best Thrift Stor out there. I bring my neighbor, a young mother of 2 children. Who's limited income make it hard for her to make ends meet. Lately your prices are really out of whack. EX: Your used Clark sandals are $35. You can buy them brand new in Bealls outlet for $29.99 & $34.99. I always thought your purpose was to help others. Looks like now profit is more important to you. read more

GROSSLY OVERPRICED......they put high prices on items like china sets, vases, figurines, etc. then put a price on the sign of what you could expect to sell it for if you put it on ebay. first off, just because you see a high price on an ebay item, doesn't make it worth that amount of $$ UNLESS it is sold, then it's value is established. i could put a box of tissues on ebay, list if for $100 and then people think that it's worth $100, but it's NOT unless it sells for that amount. I've been to this thrift store before with my Sister, I stopped here with my Mom and ended up closing the store at 5 with them. Lol The store is well organized, and the prices are affordable not like the G store or S store who got greedy with their prices. The prices here are still decent and they have a boutique area with more name brand items as well as things I guess they sell for more. I found more than I thought I would and my Mom found a few items too. I like cooking Magazines and they have a decent price on them. I really enjoyed looking through the clothes for things my Mom was looking for. The store had no odor and seemed to be cleaned well. Definitely a place I'd go back to before I leave if I have time. I hope they keep the prices lower than the other stores. I'd highly recommend this store if your looking for furniture, odds & ends , clothing whatever it maybe. They have a lot to look at! the service in here was horrid. while checking out, i kindly asked the cashiers how they were both doing and they both ignored me. i thought they didn't hear me at first, asked again, and one of the cashiers looked me up and down, scoffed, and ignored me. on top of that, the prices are ridiculously overpriced. read more

The Village Thrift is a non profit founded in 2011. They are owned by Love INC, a partnership of 45 churches in Brevard County that provides programs for people in poverty. In 2015 they opened they opened this store in a strip mall next to Planet Fitness. The store has 10,000 feet of retail space. They sell furniture, clothing, accessories, housewares, holiday decorations, toys, and books. Unlike a lot of the thrift stores in the area they have appliances. I ended up not staying very long due to an encounter with a mentally ill person in the back of the store. An older woman without a mask was coughing in the aisle. When she moved away I went to examine the games because I was looking for something for the kids I work with. All of a sudden she started screaming at me six feet, six feet. I calmly explained that I had a mask on and was vaccinated. She was the one without a mask. After that she just would not leave me alone. I went to find a manager and his response was that since she doesn't work here there is nothing they could do. With that kind of attitude I left empty handed. It is shame because I was prepared to buy several things. I don't want to knock a non profit that helps poor people so three stars instead of the one I feel like giving them. They can't help who shops in the store but they could have sent someone to monitor the back. The best thing I can say about my visit here is that because I came here I found America's Antique Mall a few doors down. read more

They are selling items to employees and telling customers there is no price because it just came in and you have to wait for the manager to come in and price it . Then they tell you if you leave your number the store manager (linda) will call you the next day when she comes in , then they don't call . This place is very corrupt , all the employees that work there are not nice, very bad place to do business , I would have paid more money than what they sold the item in question for . read more

This is one of my few 5 star reviews for a thrift shop. Prices have been adjusted since they first opened at this location a few months ago. (They were previously Segunda Vida over on US1). 99% of the prices are in the good to 'amazing bargain' range, even the brand new in the box items. VT is the best-smelling thrift shop I've been to, and has one of the lowest minimums for credit cards - just $5. The lighting is perfect for inspecting items closely. The carpet is brand new, and they did a enormous amount of renovations to ensure it is, as far as I am concerned, the best thrift shop* in my circuit (Goodwill Clearance on US1 in Rockledge down to 192; occasionally beach side). Volunteers put a huge amount of effort into ensuring customers know what is being sold. Sheet sizes, clothing sizes, shoe sizes and fiction/nonfiction books are exquisitely arranged! They even had pencil erasers sorted into small, medium & large!!! Amazing. It's almost incomprehensible how the staff arranges this level of detail. I have avoided this place since they first opened, due to the ridiculousness of some of their pricing on that first visit. If you're looking for unique items at a thrifty price this place is not for you. I know they get plenty of fantastic donations but these are not being sold to the walk in customers. I've been here dozens of times and I've seen the great donations lined up on tables in the back of the store . But sadly the truth is the good stuff never makes it to the front of the store. I don't know if its being sold on Ebay or what but it doesn't really matter to me because I know I'll never have a chance to buy any of it. If you have stuff to donate please do everyone a favor and donate it to a thrift store that wants to give their loyal customers great items at decent prices. All you'll find for sale here is household junk. I wish this was not the case but as you walk down the isle glance through to the back of the store and you'll see what I'm talking about. Tons and tons of great stuff neatly lined up on tables! You may think if you keep coming back eventually you'll see it out on the floor but I can assure you this is not the case.
