This is real joke of management here. We are staying here for a whole week. X2 campers/families. We have paid this facility over 1000$ to stay. We take 12 adults/kids to go on the splash pad at 4:30 Saturday july 5th mgmt: you can pay full price for 1hour but only get it for 30 min. Us: can we pay half price for 30 min? Mgmt: NO. Full price or nothing. We close at 5pm on a Saturday of a holiday weekend. 20$ for an hour or 4 people for 65$ an hour. But you only have 30 minutes. Us: we have 12 people. (65$x 3 groups of 4 = 195$) You dont want our $$ Brian the owner/Melinda the GM - you need to do better. read more

We went in with an open mind after reading all the reviews. Once we got through the gate and found our spot we struggled to get into it. There was a car halfway into our very small spot so we couldn't swing the turn. We drove around and checked out the campground to see if the other spots were accommodating and most of them were not. They were either extremely small, filled with trees, or just kinda gross. We made the decision to leave and decide they could just keep our money. We went inside and the lady at the counter said she could move us and was trying to accommodate us, but we made the decision to leave. This campground was run down, the water was kinda gross, and no one was out and about which isn't the best sign. The roads were extremely tight and the sites were big enough for a camper but no area to enjoy outside of the camper. read more

Bathroom cleaning not done on the busiest holiday of the year July 4th. initialed but not done. Sad going down hill.

We booked online, and had an issue that needed attention, and the ladies at the desk were not able to assist. They reached out to someone that manages the facility, and it took us calling for over a month, and then showing up daily at the front desk for someone to finally address our concern. Each day we talked to the office personnel, they reached out to the manager, and she just refused to answer us. This issue cost us over $1000. When we did receive our answer, we were shown the email that the manager had sent. It was very rude, and condescending. The front desk staff was very apologetic to us for the complete unprofessionalism of the management of the campground. If one of my employees treated a customer in this manner, I would have removed them from their position. I would not recommend staying here. If you run into issues, they are not likely to be addressed. read more

Poorly managed, double standards. Employees and certain guests can speed around the campground with zero consequences. They scold those who they choose for speeding then ask you to leave. We were told to leave for doing 8mph, could not provide any proof only that someone knows how faster we where going. Absolute joke of a campground. Save your money and move on, plenty of other campgrounds. read more

I was employed at this campground and I absolutely loved my job and today I was fired for being a diabetic. My blood sugar was extremely low and I was going to pass out I needed to eat something needless to say I came back out and the owner fired me on the spot and told me it was me problem not a him problem. I feel very sad for the mindset of people who discriminate others with a medical condition. read more

We enjoy this campground as it has sewer hook up on each spot. Never had an issue with electrical. They recently paved the roads to cut down on dirt and dust. Children are free to ride their bicycles and skateboards all day. Golf cart rentals are a little high but I get it. They sell firewood and propane in the store along with ice cream too. Management has changed so the atmosphere is better as well. Lots of fun activities to do on the weekends. It does get crowded and rowdy on holiday weekends but I suppose that's part of the allure. Plenty of fishing and swimming available. There are a lot of seasonal campers but plenty of room for monthly, weekly, and weekend campers too. Lots of tent camping with outhouse access. M/F showers and laundry room too. I recommend the stay. read more

Indian Springs Campground - RV Rental Near Me - Garrett, Indiana

This campground is a crap hole. Overcrowded. Inadequate electric service for the massive amount of big rigs and other campers. We we just there for four nights including July 4th. They blew a transformer because it was overcrowded and fried the main breaker. Power was off in 90° weather for HOURS. Golf carts jamming the ONE LANE ROADS that are not one way streets. Kids on these contraptions with no flag on them and no helmet on the kids. Fireworks at all hours in the wooded campsites. Loud music at all hours. Way too many full-time people that think the rules don't apply to them. Open container drinking. At least one guy with an ankle monitor on his leg. Very classy for a supposed "resort'. We will never go back. Others told us had they known it was like that they would have not gone there. read more

If it was possible to give ZERO stars I would. The list is long and I understand the we are coming out of quarantine, but some of these things could have and should have been taken care of during this layoff. By no means am I or my family city slickers and we have gone camping around Indiana a few times during the summer and into the fall every year. We either pitch our tent or rent a small sleeping for convenience. Without further ado, here the list of atrocities: 1. Lied about the cabins. Said they had 2 sets of double bunks and a loft. Nope. Set of double and a loft. This is the first sign of amazing discoveries to come. 2. Grass was not mowed. Nothing like getting your shoes soaked on the way to the bathroom. Everytime. No picnic tables. (Those came later in the evening) 3. Cabin had a nest with baby robins above the door. So they stayed. Cause we have a heart. Nothing better than being dive bombed by mama bird from time to time. Feel it keeps us closer to nature I guess. 4. Garbage in the swimming pond. For a little extra ambiance. 5. Was told a grill would be at our campsite when we called. Nope. Another lie. So guess who had to buy a $25 grill at the local store? This guy. 6. At around 330 am. Someone in the campground and their party decided it was a great time to blast rap music for 10 minutes. (If you think it was just a neighbor, it could've been, but it was loud enough for the whole campground to enjoy) 7. At around 430 am. Someone in the campground and their party decided it was another great time to check the acoustics again, with the lovely melody of "You ain't nothing but a hoochie mama" (may have even been the extended version, or atleast it felt like it) seriously though, who plays the whole damn song? 8. We ain't done. Bottle rockets baby!! For the grand finale to end the show around 5 am. 9. If you were expecting to catch up on the sleep you lost. Nope. Gotta get the grass mowed now. 10. The railings for the cabins are rotten and a huge liability. Not sure why they demand a deposit, what is there to ruin in the cabin?! There should be a weight limit posted to sit on the porch. 11. Mattresses do not fit the bunks, so the top bunks, you get to be the taco fixings, or roll into the wall all night. You decide! 12. The loft is supposedly a double bed. It is. But only a twin will fit. The other half of your bed is at a 90 degree angle against the wall. So you got that going for ya, which is nice. 13. You want WiFi. Look no further than the name: "anus is delicious". Come on, that is just precious. (This was not the campgrounds WiFi, just one that popped up on the kids devices) 14. Mower came with 40 feet of cutting our grass on Saturday. So yeah, we still sitting around 3 foot grass/weeds. 15. Bring your own firewood. Period. There's I believe was just pulled from one of the ponds over the spring. Wetter than a piece of bread in a puddle. Everyone throwing up smoke signals. Ok. We made it through the weekend. Only stayed cause we couldn't stand another weekend at home. And they did have a fireworks shows on Sunday. But by no means does it change the fact that this place is in the lower end of campgrounds. I actually waited to post this, in fear they might not give me my deposit back. read more

If you like partying 24/7 then this is the spot for you. The water is well water so with everyone using it it smells of Sulfur. Kids running around playing, the park is falling apart, good luck getting through there with a truck with the crazy drunkin golf carts. I was there for a month and never seen a law mower, no room what so ever and your Neighbors sewer line is right by your door. Cops there every weekend I could go on and on but hopefully you get the point. read more

Wat a horrible experience !! We paid an extra $10 for the luxury spot !! W the water view !! It had sooo much under growth the only way that u could see the water ,.which is a slimy green pond it's not water it's a pond !!! Was to drive to said pond .. The spot was sposed to hav sewer !! It did but we had to share it w the nieghbor !! But we had a system !! If we had to poop we'd call him n vise versa !! The STAFF was incredibly helpful n professional and helpful !! The people were great !! The dogs surrounding us barking day n night not so much !! read more

Simply put: horrible. If someone is waiting to check in, forget getting in and out without waiting for them to complete the check in. Ridiculous egress with a bridge that is barely wide enough to get across. Dust and dirt roads...supposedly paving everything. Sit outside, have dust blowing in your face. Have a clean rig and truck, you won't recognize it after an hour. Go outside, you'll be covered in dust. Spots were designed for 40 year old rigs...don't try getting a spot that will fit a rig over 30 feet, and if you have opposing slides, yeah good luck! Oh, and don't even think you'll be able to get your rig level. The spots are not even close. So bad, auto level won't work, and your stabilizing jacks will get destroyed. While there are some nicely done seasonal spots with nice rigs, many rigs are dilapidated. Wires hanging down, covers gone from water heaters and fridges. Nothing appears safe about most of this place. Trash piled up for days. Full size fridges outside. Never seen such a disgusting place. Again, there are some decent seasonal spots, but if you're looking a overnight or few days etc, look elsewhere. read more

It was not the best campground I've ever been to, but also not the worst. The woman's bathroom and showers were decent. My husband refused to use the mens bathroom or showers. I am not usually one for swimming in lakes but the swimming area was pretty nice not a lot of weeds. They have the option to rent boats but they are junk, we rented one and had to stop fishing early because the boat was filling with water. The campsites were well kept and all of the employees i came into contact with were very polite. I wouldn't go back simply because of the bathroom situation and the lack of things to do. read more

This is the most poorly run and most disgusting campground I have ever been to. We reserved two sites side by side for us and another couple 6 months ago only to arrive and be told someone else was on our site and refused to move. They tried to give us to sites on opposite sides of the park from one another and we refused. Finally, two hours later and after much arguing the owner (I think) gave us "two sites" which was really only one seasonal site and our friends had electric only when they had paid for full hookups. We were offered 30 pieces of wood for the "inconvenience". Come to find out it was staff's fault that others set up on our sites which is not how it was initially explained. Three days into our week we were told we had to move because the seasonal people were there for their site. Absolutely not, the others weren't forced to move so neither were we. The sites we were given were a mud pit with almost no grass, there were craters everywhere from where people had moved the fire pit around previously, and so small it was ridiculous. The staff was rude when we asked for gate to be opened, they give you a car tag but when you call to be let in you are ignored. Stopped in at the one bathroom/shower house while on a walk and it looked like it had never been cleaned. Toilets were full and human feces was smeared all over in one stall. We will never be returning and would advise others to look elsewhere read more

We call this the HOTEL CALIFORNIA CAMPGROUND. "You can check out anytime you like, but you can never leave" This campground is only good for the residents of the town with the fifth wheels that they bring in and forget. There should be more rules for the nasty looking camper "houses" which turns off the traveling RVers. The horrible bridge is NOT safe to travel over - 107 years old and everyone COMPLAINS about that bridge to the OWNER, we heard, and he chooses to do nothing. The twisty turns to get to the back of the campground for the big rigs was ridiculous. Gravel sites uneven and really not even gravel but grass growing up thru. If they had a turnaround before the bridge, we would have not stayed. But did not want to loose our $125 deposit. New rec hall on the lake was nice, but they chose not to paint deck, so just nasty, and the lake (that kids swam in) had crud all around it. No wonder no one had teeth. Probably from the water. This should not be online an open to us travelers. read more
