Packaged butter chicken, it was packaged really well. No spillage.

This is my second time eating from this restaurant, this time I picked up my order. The thing I noticed first is that the whole front area is an Indian market of sorts. Which is cool. So it's not a sit down eating place. I picked up my food at a counter in the back. My order was ready and time. Food was still delicious I got the same butter chicken and rice per-side. My husband had not tried and he really enjoyed it. I only took a star away because it's pretty cramped going through the store to get to the back counter. I was also disappointed that there was not place to dine in but that's just me being a little picky. This is place is definitely my go to for great Indian food.

11/06 I mean look at the pictures do I really don't have to say much. Wife and I placed a order for naan with a few other entrees. We didn't check the food at pick up, which I regret. At home when we were just about to eat I Opened naan package and there it was BOOM their secret recipe. A nice half inch roach right on top of the naan. When I called back to make a complaint the lady was nice about it, said she would refund the money and replace the order. When my wife got there, the guy that attended her at the counter was very rude about the whole thing. He didn't refund the money, he very rudely told my wife that since the order is replaced I'm not going to give you a refund. It was too much of a hassle to even communicate with the person about the situation. He lacked empathy. This place is whatever, they offer good prices but the food and customer service is sub par. Definitely not eating here again. I wouldn't eat here if it was the last place on earth. I hope these guys gets their shit together.

Flies everywhere! At least ten flies constantly harassed us while dining. For me, about fifty percent of the food was meh - the other fifty percent: no good. The tandoori chicken was the worst of the dishes. The chicken seemed dried out/not freshly prepared. I usually take home leftovers, but I could not bring myself to eat old old chicken. As the name indicates, Indian Sweets sells many sugary confections. Trays and trays of them. However, none of these trays full of sugar are covered with lids in the market. This attracts an insane amount of flies and the flies definitely go over to the dining room. I ended up covering all the food with napkins. Yes, I was THAT person. The other four parties of older Indian couples that dined during our time there didn't seem bothered by the flies. For me, it was really annoying having to uncover each dish every time I wanted some food. I could not stand the thought of flies on my food so I watched the dishes like a hawk. I am seriously amazed that Indian Sweets passes food inspections. I encourage the health department inspector to sit down and try to eat a meal. They land on your food, face, and head. It's crazy, itchy, and very distracting. The best thing I ate were the samosas. They are spicy and crispy. The meat dishes just didn't seem freshly prepared. The meat... I could just tell. I feel like they don't have enough customers to keep the food fresh. We ordered off the regular menu, and while some dishes like the chickpeas were acceptable - I just can't stand the thought of returning because of the flies. I can't even bring myself to order the samosas to take home in fear the flies have already landed on them. After you eat in the dining room, you go into the market area to pay. The market is small, but it seems to carry plenty of dried, canned, and bottled Indian goods. The server was really sweet.

I have only tasted the dessert and had a taste of the MAlai koffa. After seeing the cooked fly I lost my appetite.

Stopped here every once in a while to get sweets. Average pricing, flavor is as expected. Can get groceries as well.

The Samosa was so good, the chef really nailed it with this one. The front desk employees were really nice and helpful too.

The service was amazing from start to finish. We ordered samosas, aloo tikki, garlic cheese stuffed naan, butter chicken, chicken tikka masala, and chole (the chickpea dish), along with rice. Everything was packed with flavor. The samosas were incredible, the aloo tikki was one of my favorites, and that garlic cheese stuffed naan was absolutely amazing. One thing I really appreciated was that the entrees came out in their own individual serving dishes. Everything looked great and tasted even better. We ended up with a ton of food, plenty of leftovers, and for three people the total was under $100, which was honestly impressive considering how much we ordered. As we were leaving, the gentleman who greeted us when we arrived checked on us and seemed concerned that we were taking food to go. I just wanted to make sure he and the restaurant know that there was absolutely nothing wrong with the food. My family just isn't the type to sit in restaurants for long once we're full. We eat, enjoy our meal, and take the leftovers home. The food was beyond exceptional, the service was wonderful, and we will definitely be back. Thank you for such a great experience!

Usually we take it home but we sat out front and got wonderful family style service from the cook/staff. They even brought us out some Gulab Jamun for dessert. We asked for spice level 12 (not on the menu) and they cane through for us. Didn't loose the flavor and had such a wonderful enjoyable spice. Love the outdoor seating area, it was very clean for being a food truck.

However, what sounded great on paper didn't quite translate in reality. We placed an order over the phone and saw that the truck was listed as being in Manteca, about a 25-minute drive from us. But when we arrived at the given address, the truck was nowhere to be found. A quick call revealed that they had actually moved to Modesto nearly three months ago--something that was not updated on Yelp. So, after an unexpected road trip across the Central Valley, we finally got our takeout. We ordered chole bhature and aloo tikki chaat. While the chole bhature had good flavor, the aloo tikki chaat was a huge letdown--it tasted like it was made with packaged hash browns rather than fresh aloo tikkis. On the bright side, the staff was kind, and the person at the counter generously offered a free mango lassi, which was much appreciated. I really wanted to love this place--the idea of Punjabi street food is exciting--but after this experience, I'm not sure if I'd make the trip again.
