When I found a car that I liked, I was expecting them to not be transparent about the vehicle and then was shocked when they allowed me to take the car to a Lexus dealership for a complete Pre-Purchase inspection. No other dealership would allow such a request. We immediately had to drop at least $10,000 of work into it in THE FIRST MONTH. Since then we've had to put another $10,000 (still in the first 6 months). I UNDERSTAND cars have issues but we have not gone ONE WEEK without a MAJOR issue since buying this. The work we've had done in the first 6 months -new battery -new spark plugs(this was needed after Indy motors did work on it and did it incorrectly. It caused us to stall out on a major highway in Chicago) -new fuze box -new pistons and lifters -(Indy motors did this and it's already Broken & needs replaced- the shop said they did awful work) -suspension system -transmission (was needed literally the DAY we got it back from the initial repair at Indy motors) -new fuel gasket -exhaust bolts -struts -bad wiring -The Throttle Actuator -grill actuator -mass air flow sensor -catalytic converter- -new tires bc they put on 15 yr old tires on a 7 yr old car They are a complete scam (check their Facebook reviews) and I would not recommend them to anyone. The 2017 suburban we bought looked pristine and ran well on the test drive & three days later it was dead and since then it's been NON STOP problems. They have since ghosted us. They stopped replying & won't answer us. We also recently had a tire POP (again putting my kids in danger) and when we took it to the tire shop they said "where did you get this thing, it has 15 year old tires on it." The car is only 7 years old... Indy motors did fix the initial problem (which is now broken and they said it was done incorrectly and used "junky parts" ) ALSO when the car was delivered back to us from being at Indy motors it immediately needed a new transmission (like the same day we got it back) They have enough bad reviews on Facebook just like this, I'm not the only one. I've asked and asked for a full refund and have been ghosted. When we initially asked them to buy the car back they only would give us 15 for it after we bought it for 22. Make it make sense. They are dishonest, and have put my family in danger more than once. I honestly do not know how they sleep at night scamming young families and putting children in danger. I am almost confident that they KNEW this car was in a flood/ messed with the VIN/ didn't inspect it at all. DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY.

The VERY FIRST time I pulled the camper, the truck went into limp-in mode. When driving without the camper, however, everything looked normal - you couldn't tell that anything was wrong. I took the truck into the mechanic and was told it needs a new transmission. This was before the FIRST PAYMENT on the truck was ever made - less than 90 days out from purchase. I talked with Geoff from G5 Auto and he explained that the timing must be coincidental and they couldn't help me. I asked if the dealership expected their cars (especially ones sold for $30,000) to last until the first payment. His answer was essentially, "no." Buying from G5 Auto is, in his words, "a gamble." 2/5 stars here's why and what you should know…read more I ran my own dealership for 16 years back in the dya, so I know a little more about buying cars and negotiating than your average Joe from the Mitten. The experience started off frustrating. I initially dealt with Daniel in sales, and the communication was poor. Questions weren't answered clearly, responses were slow and the whole deal felt shady. Then there was the pricing mess, made it even more confusing and misleading. The dealership's website showed one price, while I found at least three different prices for the exact same car across Carfax, truecar, cars.com. None of them matched, with roughly a $1,000-$1500 difference between some of the listings. If it wasn't for my background and years of experience,it's how much you as a customer would overpay for no reason. That's something the dealership really needs to clean up because inconsistent pricing is very skulduggery and raises red flags for buyers. Things did improve once I started dealing with F&I manager Nick. He was straightforward, polite and most importantly he was transparent. I asked him to honor the Truecar price and remove the unnecessary addons/fees. I appreciated that he did it without turning it into a whole negotiation battle. He also discounted the selling price further to make up for the poor experience we'd had up to that point. While we were driving down from Michigan, they got us approved at a competitive % and sent me the exact payment options ahead of time. No pressure, no last-minute surprises. We declined Gap (personally, I'd never buy it from a dealership when you can get it much cheaper through your regular insurance). We did end up purchasing a warranty though F&I manager actually SOLD my wife on it by taking the time to explain the coverage in detail rather than just pushing a product or scamming like a lot of dealerships do nowadays.I thought the terms were fair, since it's cancelable and prorated, so we took it. The dealer also gave us a full tank of gas, manager was positive and even escorted us out of town so we could avoid those ridiculous Carmel roundabouts, much appreciated. Overall, I'm happy with our new summer ride. If you're coming from out of state and want to get straight to the bottom line, my advice would be to skip the sales team and deal with someone who actually makes the decisions. Make sure to negotiate the fees, all those add ons are never mandatory. Also there seem to be too many unnecessary and illogical steps and the dealership could definitely improve its communication and pricing transparency. I'll update in about 3-6 months, once I've put enough miles on the car to see how it actually holds up and whether the dealership's claim that they thoroughly inspect their vehicles proves to be true.

They took my car back & then did something I really like here. They send you a video of what the service tech is seeing. Around the vehicle, the engine as well as under it. Then they text you what they recommend to be done and you can pick & choose those options. This is while you are in the nicely appointed waiting area. It's basically no touch customer service. I took a screenshot of the service coupon off their website & texted that back to the advisor after I made my selections on work to be done. I truly love the transparency. Once the car was ready George came over to let me know. I'm dinging the dealership 1 star for not doing the complimentary car wash there with service but instead giving a voucher to use at Brad's car wash ( a sister company). If the Hubler Acura store right next door can do washes I fail to understand why they can't at Mazda anymore. ‍ Overall though still a very good car service experience.

After running the CARFAX and checking the dashboard, I discovered the dealership had actually titled the car to a second owner and driven hundreds of extra miles on it as a demo, permanently making it a multi-owner car.When I returned the next morning before paying or taking delivery to address the error, management refused to fix the contract, became incredibly hostile, and ordered me to leave the dealership. Thankfully, because no money changed hands and I never took delivery, the deal is legally void. Buyers beware: double-check the odometers and history reports here, and do not trust what the sales staff tells you.

They wouldn't negotiate on price until I got a PPI which was scheduled for Monday morning - the earliest appt available. We arranged for me to pick up the car early Monday morning before they opened. I arrived and the salesman smiles and says, it's gone! He sold the car on Saturday. No call. No first right of refusal. No courtesy. Nothing. This car was a specialty color that is very rare. I was in love with the car and was ready to pay cash on Thursday night, but they wouldn't even discuss it before I got the PPI. That's super fishy. Is it because you were holding it for another buyer? Is it because I'm a young woman? Is it because I'm Black? Doesn't matter. It was wrong. I think it was his smile that sent me over the edge. Nothing about this situation was joyous. I will never return and I hope no one else does, either. Shame on you, Fritz!
