Cute little couches through out the room too - perfect for when opening gifts. They have a nice speaker system for music and you can connect via Bluetooth. Also looked like they had a projector if needed but we didn't use. Nick was helpful and the Mill provided tables, table cloths, and a backdrop for photos. The event went so well and we are happy we went with the Mill!

The first two weddings were small before my son was deployed with the Army. At first my husband and I didn't really think Indiana was going to be a good destination wedding, but we were wrong. The happy couple met while renting homes a mile away while they were both students at the university. The grounds and home are beautiful. I think the bride and her friends stayed in the Penthouse. The wedding guests saw deer before the ceremony. I didn't see the deer because my son was escorting my husband and I to our seats before the ceremony. They set up all the tables outside and there's a nice patio for the dance floor and DJ, a little patio next to the ballroom for a bartender and an indoor ballroom if the weather doesn't permit dining outdoors.

We stayed at Graduate by Hilton Bloomington on Thanksgiving night and had a great experience…read more The hotel is right in downtown Bloomington, which makes it an easy base for getting around. Since it was Thanksgiving, the restaurant was not open that evening and the hotel was not very busy. That worked in our favor, as parking was plentiful and check-in was smooth. I also received a complimentary room upgrade, which made an already nice stay even better. The room itself was excellent and easily exceeded expectations. The next morning we ate breakfast at the hotel restaurant and were impressed. Good food, good service, and an easy start to the day. Overall, a really solid stay and absolutely worth it. This is now my new favorite hotel in Bloomington, and we will be back.

When dinner was served, 1 8-foot table being served originally on 1 side. The 3 to 4 servers did expand to double rows after 45 minutes waiting in line, ran out of food, utensils.... There were maybe 60 chairs to sit down and eat. I don't know where the breakdown in communication happened, but we all RSVP'ed, $33 each, and the numbers were so off it was like Sycamore Farms planned for 60 people. It's a beautiful venue, but I'd be very hesitant to book an event there again given what happened that night.

String lights and soft lighting (no harsh fluorescents!) made the entire place feel like it was lit by stars and moonlight. The dance floor is a covered space between the two sections of the barn, but the walls are open for easy access/mingling. Small tables everywhere, so I never felt like I had to scramble for a place to put my wallet and phone. The owners were unobtrusive, kind, and made sure everything went off without a hitch. If you're searching for a Bloomington-area wedding venue, Sycamore Farm is highly recommended!

The eggs and biscuits & gravy were especially good--fresh, hot, and actually flavorful, which you don't always get with hotel breakfasts. The room itself was spacious, which we appreciated, but there were a couple of comfort issues. It tended to run a bit warm, and the thermostat didn't seem to cool down to the temperature we set. The air also felt pretty dry overnight. We had an accessible (handicap) shower, and while it was easy to use, it left about half of the bathroom floor soaked after each shower. That made the floor very slick, which was a bit of a safety concern. We also liked that the hotel had a pool, which is always a nice perk, but it was pretty small. Overall, a nice stay with great amenities and breakfast, but a few room comfort and bathroom design issues that could be improved.

Small food store in the front that was very reasonably priced. Rooms were clean, bright and well appointed. Didn't use room service but it was very clean and well dressed. Breakfast setup is typical for the chain and well stocked. Attendants did a great job every day that I was there and they were always cheerful. One drawback is that the gym is very limited. There is enough to get in a workout but the cardio gear is very dated. Overall, solid experience and I recommend this location for a short or long stay.

The kitchen space is immaculate and impressive. Their walk ins are bigger than some apartments. We attended the 2023 Bloomington craft beer festival at the location this week and it was a wonderful success. I also attended the ending homelessness in Bloomington event indoors recently. I can envision this property with a little more private investment or even from the county becoming like the Pearl district in San Antonio Texas. I realize this is a large ask because the billionaire that owned pace salsa is from San Antonio, and spent much of his own money regentrifying the pearl. However, with a local culinary school it's definitely possible. I can imagine adding bars, restaurants and shops to the outside space, and including the creek that runs by in the plans. I will love to see great things come from this space!

The spaces are incredibly flexible which makes it easy to hold an event here. The Bloomington Handmade Market had the entire second floor completely open to fit all of their awesome, local vendors. Recently, the Greater Bloomington Chamber of Commerce transformed the second floor into a few smaller rooms (used for personal business panels) and also had a bigger, open area available for their keynote speakers. The best part though?! The huge, free parking lot just steps outside the entrance to the building. So convenient and so rare to find at a convention center.

Theater. I haven't had a bad seat yet; Although sitting up front for a Saturday night live comedian is pretty exciting. The parking situation can be challenging so I get here a little early. There are lots of great eateries within walking distance including Uptown Cafe, Farm, Trojan Horse and Osteria Ragu. Try out a sweet treat at the chocolate shop next door or a classic Chocolate Moose Ice Cream cone. Just strolling the charming downtown after an event is very date worthy. Thanks to all the volunteers who keep this place running so smoothly!

This is the only private club in Bloomington and over 500 families are members there.  I have…read moreplayed golf there several times too.  After high school I was briefly the lifeguard in the "old pool". One of my good friends was an avid golfer, lived there and was a life long member and former President of the club.  Some of my family are members too.  Nice course, nice pool, very nice clubhouse.  People need to realize that the focus of the management is serving the members and their guests. The food is great and the staff is friendly and attentive -I enjoy dinner there anytime I get a chance to go. I especially love their filet mignon and their drinks.  It is good value for your money. If you want to connect to old money or new money Bloomington-this is the place you should be-so get invited by a member or join.
