Indigo is a EXCELLENT place to window shop. The selection of books is phenomenal and the variety of knick knacks that range for things to accessorize your book (night light, bookmarks) to gift options are unmatched. The appeal is for all ages, young and old with a variety of book sections for all ages.
The children section has so many books and gift ideas, there's even areas for kids to play! Staffing is readily available and some even play with the kids in arts in crafts while the parents quickly shop.
Truly a great place to window shop.... the key words are "window shop as the price-tag" is at times exaggerated. You do not come to Indigo for a deal, you come here to get something you want fast whether it's a book or a gift not shop for multiple items.
For example, I recently bought a book that was marked $25 here but found it on Amazon (not on special) for only $15. That's a $10 difference. That's huge. Perhaps it's a one-off you say? Sure, I bookmarked 5 books I was interested in and every time Amazon was about $3 to $10 cheaper. When a book is $14 and I can find it elsewhere for $8, something is up...
