They WILL keep your security deposit even with no damages and make up a bogus charge amounts in utility bills (when you didn't even live at the establishment the last month of the lease). Lived on this property for 3 years and progressively got worst. At the beginning, was shown the model unit, which is nice but very very misleading then upon move-in and walk through day, saw the unit and it was a bait and switch (pictures show) and carpet was wet still which I believe ultimately created moisture and possibly mildew/mold. The unit was chipped, broken rods, janky show rods, ants, parking is horrible for guests and exit gate is always broken. Lastly not to mention the Horizon Honor school baseball field lights that stay on until 11-12pm all summer if you're in a south facing unit. On 50th street, people storm down the street and go 40-50 mph, plus and during the school year, school drop off wraps around the street to Indigo and north of it toward Chandler Blvd, so good luck leaving on time. I moved into my apartment on 10/12/2023. My apartment was a nightmare and I want out of my lease. My apartment is filthy. I didn't see my apartment before I moved in. I asked to see the apartment 2 weeks before move in I was told they was painting I couldn't see. I am shocked to see a roach in the guest bathroom on 10/15/2023. I can't sleep knowing a roach in my apartment. My apartment is filthy the floors were dirty you can see mud. There is a wasp nest on my patio with bird poop. The screen on patio cobwebs and dirty all over it. The handle on my patio door caked dirt. Light bulb out throughout the apartment including exterior light out very dark at my door. The blinds old dirty throughout the apartment and guest bedroom blind broke. Blinds to patio dirty. Doors throughout apartment had lipstick on them. The washer didn't work correct I had to wring my towels with hand. The smooth top is destroyed with scratches and chips missing the dial area look like it was set on fire black smoke on dial area. I need new stove. I bought groceries my ice cream took to long to get hard. The refrigerator is on 10 when I arrived but food doesn't stay properly cold. The garage door doesn't close all the way got lock it to keep it closed. I was given my garage key that is broke. I can't get in the gates. I have no key for pool or gym. I emotionally stressed and unacceptable apartment I can't live in. I am sure nothing will be fix. I need new stove fridge and washer. The office closed on Mondays another day with roaches. I am allergic to roaches I feel they knew this unit have roaches. I can't believe Greystar hand me keys to a nasty apartment with roaches. I want terminate my lease and leave. If I was given opportunity to see the apartment I wouldn't have accepted the conditions. Neighbor told me last tenants were evicted which explain why the apartment so nasty which Greystar should have cleaned it. I used to live next door to Andante I left because of rats and dirty grounds but they didn't have roaches. The rats were outside and they got rid of them. Do not rent here they have roaches. I need to get an attorney to get out of this lease I am scared to go asleep roaches!! My puppy could get sick from roaches too. Both bathrooms smell like cat piss. I scrubbed bathroom with bleach and lemon Lysol still smell like piss. The community on outside neat clean grounds but this apartment straight out of hell. Unbelievable handed me a key to a nasty apartment spent last 2 days scrubbing everything. I listed on my move in sheet but when I turned it in on Saturday I didn't see the roach until Sunday smdh. I pay over 2000 live with roaches that isn't right. Please stay away look nice on outside staff is kind and sweet no complaints with them. I don't know who is responsible but this is unacceptable for the money I paid. I moved her because each unit has garages and I stayed in Awahtukee my neighborhood for 9 years. We placed work orders in when I moved in. Today I went to office to check on my work orders, it was about 3pm door lock and leasing person tried to hide from me. The leasing person told me my work orders not in the system which I placed in October during move in inspection. I was given opportunity to move in different unit it was nasty too. I stayed in my unit broke garbage disposal broke outlets in living room and kitchen went out. My daughter room need blinds for 2 windows we placed black sheets to the window. I ask to get out of my lease without paying 3700 they won't work with me. Please don't move they have no maintenance person here since I moved here. The maintenance man started in November last year and quit December. Greystar use conservice for billing service that billed us for common gas, common area, electric valet trash. My unit run on electric only. My base rent was advertised 1875.00 2 bedroom 2 bath but my rent payment with the hidden charges 2240.00 today. This place use con artist send additional billing to us to pay in our rent. I have valet trash can't opt out of it cost 35.00 month so I pay 35 take my trash to dumpster next to my unit and pay trash fee pick big dumpster up. 400 plus added to my rent don't move here it is slummy here with roaches. I can't wait to move out of these horrible nobody should have to live with roaches and these junk fees. If I could I would sue for predatory marketing to the consumers rent price advertised not the price you actually pay. They did scam on zillow advertising a 2 bed 2 bath for 975.00 for 2 weeks then changed it back to 1875.00 I ask why office said it got lot people in. read more

This property has roaches. I just recently moved out on October 2nd. My lease was up on October 14. I paid my rent from the 1st of October to 14. I was given the prorated amount 930.03 to by certified check. I paid 300.00 dollars deposit and 75 dollars key deposit. I got letter today after 14 days stating I owe 247.34 for utilities I don't know what that is. I cut my electric off on October 4th. I got damages cost 150.27 it isn't itemize I took a video show no damages. Trash door pick up 16.17. I owe 1.39 for insurance I have my own insurance never used their insurance. I paid them prorated rent 1st to 14 October 930.03 on the first. My remote deposit 75.00 I paid when I moved in plus the deposit. The utilities show I owe from 8/1/24 to 10/14/24. Greystar are suppose to send me statement itemized the charges I owe before they take my deposits. They didn't send itemized statements for damages or utilities. Greystar also violated my deposit not getting their ambiguous statement to me 14 days after I turned my key in. I am taking them to small claims court get my money back. I am retired have all the time to attend court. I paid my rent on time every month and had to live with disgusting roaches in my condo. My condo was filthy when I moved in. I have previous reviews the condition of the condo with pictures and I made a move out video. I told my daughter they will try to take my key deposit and rent deposit I was right. The law requires an itemized statement sent to me timely manner not vague statements damages or just utilities what utilities. I will file claim against greystar don't rent from them they are scammers. The letter they sent didn't have a post mark on envelope how convenient. read more

We love this property and are getting ready to go to a homeowner meet and greet today. We are entering our 3rd month....with any type of business there are always challenges but I must say this has been great. Kitchen Sink was leaking and fixed within 24 hours, worked around our schedules and great communication. A week ago our air-conditioning went down while we were at work and when we got home it was after the office closed and HOT. The day was a 113d day. Inside it was 85 and climbing along with my anxiety. Within 5 minutes the maintenance person called me, asked me to do a few tests and ultimately realized I could not fix it. He left his home, came to mine and fixed the problem. This on a Friday night when I would have accepted that it would have to wait.....Instead he was here and very very nice and efficent. Lastly due to Covid, the pool has very restricted hours and the exercise room closed. I asked our office to review the hours so I could get my home physical therapy done as required in my treatment. Within 24 hours they had reviewed their policy and made the changes to times which allowes me (and others) the time I needed to get in a swim and exercise. To me this is great resident service! read more

If there was a zero star rating, that's what I would give this community. Indigo was by far the worst apartment community I've ever lived in. Specifically unit 251. The grounds were nice enough, there is an attached garage, and the neighbors were usually nice, but the staff was/is awful. We were unable to see the unit before we moved in and were completely mislead as to the quality of the unit. Long story short, please beware before you sign a lease. Common utilities were different each month and from neighbor to neighbor, management wouldn't replace a broken microwave or stained/broken/tattered blinds, and our shower was luke warm for about eight out of 12 months until I had someone other than the maintenance team fix it. (Maintenance is a whole other issue but you get the picture) The staff seems literally clueless and we still had to deal with being charged after they sent us a refund check. I'm getting angry just leaving this review so I'll end it here. read more

Update on this sham of a condo complex, as you can see my apt was in perfect order and the only thing I didn't have was a key for the property gates which I returned about a month and a half ago that they charged me fifty dollars for, I found it and returned it and still got nothing back. As you tenants already know its very noisy from the highway noise, but when you move in they don't tell you about the extremely loud noise from the race track across the street and the horrible smell from the train tracks a mile away. Every Time I think how I paid that dump over $1400 a month makes me ill. Who are you idiots that say its a quiet place to live, you must be deaf. read more

This morning around 4:30 a.m., I walked over to the gym on sight. I walked in (door was not locked as it never is), and walked over to the light switch to turn the lights on and was started to find a man (a homeless man, I'm assuming) sleeping in the corner of the room behind the equipment. I asked him what he was doing there. He shushed me. I obviously left. I'm extremely irritated. There is no reason I should feel unsafe where I live. It doesn't seem as though the staff is taking any safety measures to prevent things like this from happening. read more

Make sure you get a physical receipt that you gave your notice or they will leave you trying to pay hundreds in "insufficient notice" fees! It's not my fault the office can't locate my written notice I turned in OVER 3 months before my lease was up. This is the spot in 'Tukee' if you have to rent. It has a North Scottsdale feel. This is the first apartment I have found that truly is a 'Luxury Apartment.' HUGE floor plans. Extensive upgrades. Garage, plus a bonus parking space. The neighborhood is excellent and everything is super close. Quiet and neatly kept property with fast response from maintenance. The girls in the office are always willing to accommodate and expedite any needed request. This property was definitely built for people with high end taste. Some of the other reviews lack logic and maybe they haven't lived in an apartment before. I have had poor property management and this place isn't even close. They can't control how people act or how many scorpions decide to creep into your place. All you can do is ask them to spray. It's Ahwatukee. That's standard. If your neighbors are loud. Put in a complaint, tell them. Maybe they aren't aware and will put an end to it. The landscaping may have been a little sloppy for a while. Who cares. I still was able to sleep at night and my apartment was still extraordinarily nice. read more

Love living in this quiet community! The apartments are well designed and very spacious. The attached garages are number one for me! The management is reasonable on completing request in a timely manner. After looking at many many other places in the area for the space and the attached garage are worth it! All in all it's been a good place to live EXCEPT for the following: -Do NOT live on the bottom floor unless you are prepared to listen to your upstairs neighbors train elephants at all hours of the day. -If you have to park anywhere aside from your garage or driveway, good luck finding a spot. Don't even think about parking on the side of the street. They are all considered no parking zones, and you WILL get a ticket. The community is in a great location. I feel safe walking around at night without a male companion. I've had no real issues with other tenants aside from my upstairs neighbors who insist on making as much noise as humanly possible--they have woken me from a deep sleep in the middle of the night with their noise. When their kids are up, they are literally running back and forth in the apartment ALL DAY LONG. Overall, it was a good leap of faith in picking the place to meet our family's needs at the time. The garage has been a God-send, and probably the one reason that makes the upstairs neighbor's constant tromping and jumping doable. With that said, we will be vacating when our lease is up. read more

I have had incredible experience while here at Indigo. They were flexible and supportive from the beginning as seen through being so accommodating on the move-in. The response time and immediate support has also been refreshing, specifically by both Alex and Danielle. They have also gone out of their way for families and kids such as when Santa recently visited. The community is very well kept and and clean through regular maintenance. And along with benefits of location, the price is fair and if not under most comparable communities. Lastly, the utilities are noticeably lower than some communities given the quality. read more

The garbage overflows every week, even the ones in the gazebo where grills are. Not sanitary. The gates were open the entire month of January and therefore living in a gated community really didn't mean anything. Visiting this property resulted in one of the worst customer service experiences I've ever had. The property manager first attempted to charge me more than $300 more per month than other identical units, was rude and dismissive when I asked about it, and then made it clear that I was disrupting her work by attempting to find an alternative. I'm a good tenant; good credit, great job, and live alone. This woman treated me like she was doing me a favor just to speak with me and ended up being so rude that I canceled the hold I had on a potential unit. Since then they've completely ignored my requests for a refund of my deposit which was supposed to be refundable. If you're thinking of living in Awhatukee, I'd suggest thinking twice about leasing from this property! read more

I visited the indigo apartments last Sunday 17th to inquire about renting. Rosa was extremely unhelpful and made it apparent she didn't not want to work. I went in wth my mother that day and had to pry information out of here. She didn't tell us about amenities I had to ask about nearly everything. I asked to see the gym and she showed us the location but didn't let us in. She claimed the model homes were dirty so she couldn't show us what the apartments looked like. After a recent transfer in jobs I regrettably had to move out of my Indigo apartment. Over the course of the past year that I lived in this apartment I can not speak highly enough about my living experience. I would like to extend a sincere thank you to the entire staff, office personnel, and maintenance crew who were always available and willing to help me with my needs, no matter how big or small. I have lived in several apartments around the valley and I have to say that the square footage and luxurious feel I got at Indigo can not be beat. For the price point of my one bedroom I could not have been happier. Having a garage during the summer heat can not be beat! If I had to think of one complaint over the course of my time at indigo it would be that the front gate does not have a remote, it only operates with a code. However, the good by far outweighs the bad when it comes to living at Indigo. And honestly after a few months I grew accustomed to plugging in the gate code. Although my time at Indigo has come to an end I highly recommend this complex to anyone looking for a small complex feel with upscale touches. DO NOT LIVE HERE!! BREAK INS CONSTANTLY. Gate does not work so people come in when ever. Black truck seen scoping complex, many home and vehicle break ins. Right before we first moved in my husband had keys early and we found a lady had broke in and was standing in the apt. near the sliding glass door shooting up! Her bloody underwear was in the kitchen sink! He backed up and out of apt. after being shocked and told front office. The place had to be professionally cleaned. Not only this but the pool never gets taken care of any more. For how much you pay a month which is more than what you can pay for an entire house there should be security so we can find a license plate number to report the thief! Living in worry is not worth this and the office is just there for show, they really do nothing for you. I never hear any traffic noise, but i am on the north facing side so that has a lot to do with it, i do hear the schools intercom clear as day though. read more
