The standout feature of this property is undoubtedly the location; my specific unit is exceptionally quiet and surrounded by respectful, personable, and animal-friendly neighbors. As someone who works from home, I truly appreciate the peaceful atmosphere and the professional, diligent maintenance and management teams who keep the grounds in excellent condition and not to mention how safe I feel here. If I can help anyone, please read this. This apartment does not care about its residents, it may appear so, however they are always trying to screw you over at every opportunity. We have a dog and we were staying in a furnished apartment. To begin it apparently says in their lease agreement that you are responsible to REPLACE FURNITURE because of dog hair. Why would they let residents move in to a furnished apartment if they expect you to replace furniture because of dog shedding. Second thing, upon move out they came in the measure for new cabinets. Nothing wrong there, but when we requested our security deposit they said we owe them close to a 1000 dollars because the carpet needed to be replaced because of "dog stains". I will attach the photos below (THESE ARE THE PHOTOS THEY SENT ME). Please be a judge yourself on the photos. Also, have they never heard of patch repair, nope we have to replace the whole entire carpet. I conclude they wanted new carpet for the new cabinets they are putting and wanted us to pay for it. In addition, they will give you MANY notices about having to come into your apartment during normal business hours (M-F, 9-5) and if you have a pet they expect your pet to be kenneled for that whole 8 hrs or so. No exceptions. What? The neighborhood is noisy with gunshots going off being a normal occurence. It was a joke of me and my wife just hearing gunshots go off in the middle of March and just joking that "it must be fireworks again". No one shoots fireworks off in March. The move out was a disaster. They don't care about the residents, they only care about how much money they can get out of you upon move out. It is a business after all. I have no benefit in writing this review, this is just my heart so that I can prevent anyone from considering this apartment. I had the worst move-in experience to start off with waiting out of my apartment for five hours before I was actually able to move in then on top of that since moving in here it's nothing but dog shit all over the property constantly fucking stinks trash all the parking lot cars are parked all kinds of fucking crcrazy this is probably been one of the worst places I've ever left kids running up and down the stairs all day. No one says anything no one does trash all over the stairway all in the hallways. It's just fucking gross here and it seems maintenance does nothing don't move here. Find anywhere else. read more

God good am I glad I didn't read reviews here before I moved in. I woulda been terrified seeing this yelp page. Good news - shit ain't as bad as it looks. About 2 years ago I was in a crunch with a job offer and needing to move in the same week school started at ASU. I talked to probably 40 different apartments, only to hear no availability. I was ready to Airbnb for a few months till the market cooled. I called Villagio and within an hour I had an apartment with rent paid sight unseen. I set my expectations real low - no bugs and a clean apartment. The rest I could deal with. Needless I was impressed when I arrived to find a clean and cool hole on a very hot summer day. The move in process was easy. I ended I'm staying for nearly 2 years and I have some grips but I'll say they were all taken care of quickly and effectively by the staff when possible. The things that I think are worth mentioning: You get what you pay for AND qualify for. These apartments are not "luxury" they are designed for short term living and you will find the people who filter through tend to also be there for the short term. Sometimes you get a downstairs neighbor that vacuums at 3 am, every effing morning, other times you get the sweetest lady who loves baking and is just waiting for her and her spouses' house to finish being built. It's really a crap shoot. I wish you the baker not the midnight house cleaner. I've lived in better apartments with worse office staff, but I can say the staff here is mostly stellar. The security team (contracted not employed by the property) could use a re-vamp or even just some customer service/cross cultural training. I never really used any of the amenities - the pools have either been closed (COVID) or look dirty or are full and look dirty. The gym requires a $25 key fee and mountainside has a better selection of equipment. The dog park I did use a bit, but after a few too many ant bites for me and the pup, I was done. There were a few colonies in it, and either old colonies or like gopher holes. Either way - not safe and not worth the trouble. The green belts throughout the property are a nice touch though and it's about a block from Kiwanis park which is more than enough space to stretch my legs and give the dog a decent walk. I was also one of the bunch who had a screened in patio which was great for cooler days as I could open up the back door and let the dog wander as she pleased on the patio. Note - the dude who posted about being nickel and dimed... 5 years ago - my rent was all broken down and totaled out - screen rental was not listed, so that's not a thing anymore. What else... oh. LOTs of parking. I never had to worry about inviting people over because there was always parking. Finally, I also rented furnished. This is something that was a bit new to me when I moved in. So there was a bit of a learning curve to it for me. What you should know is that it's not comfortable. The bed was new, but adding 4 inches of memory foam made it sleepable.The dining room chairs may as well be plywood and metal. The couches are not something I'd wish on anybody's back, and the club chair was rockhard. However, you get what you pay for. For me, 1x1 furnishes was just under a grand when I first signed, and upped to $1050 when I left. My electric bill was about ~$60/mo on average. The highest was my July bill ($110), the lowest was November ($35) mostly due to travel. In conclusion, this is not a place it's on the tip of my tongue to recommend. However for the right person, in the right situation this is the perfect place to land, gain some bearings, and figure out where the heck you want to live in the valley because it's price conscious, and it doesn't force you to unpack while you figure it out. read more

Final update 4/13/2020 Although the move in process started out rough, and I was very uncertain in regards to how the short time we lived there would go. I am very happy with how everything ended up. Never have I seen better kept grass and lawn areas (good job maintenance staff it looks amazing). The apartment was cleaner than any apartment I have ever seen moving into. I felt safe at my apartment. The gate was shut for the majority of each day which helped a lot in regards to me feeling safe. When we moved out it was amidst the COVID19 pandemic. Pam made it super easy and simple to move out and had great communication with me. My only cons were that we found the walls to be pretty thin, and the dog area had so much crap around from owners not picking it up that we didn't even want to use it. But like I mentioned above the grass areas were amazing so we didn't mind not using the dog area. Overall I'm really happy that my mind was changed and my expectations were exceeded. Thank you Villagio. Update as of 1/23/2020 (added 1 star) Management has been much better with communication. We still have not moved in yet but I will update along the way and improve rating if things continue to improve or take away if things worsen. Original review with 1 star: When moving in from another state everything is communicated and sent through email. How is it that they keep asking for paperwork that has already been sent in? I have had to re send a lot of my move in paperwork due to them "not being able to find it" then later having them apologize for finding it "in their trash". We just moved in and very happy! Love that the grass is taken care of and that there are dog stations. The apartment is super cozy and has great a/c ventilation and even the ceiling fans are beautiful. The only thing I'd say I don't like is the WiFi, it's pretty slow. But we're just going to get our own modem seeing as we have a lot of devices. Santana is very pleasant to work with and so professional and really does his job to the highest degree. The apartment complex I was at prior was way more expensive and it didn't even have grass (it was rocks) and had bad a/c flow. So I'm very satisfied in my new home! Also, obsessed with the kitchen sink! Took a stroll to walk the dogs at night around and my boyfriend and I raved about how nice the area is kept. Kinda bummed the dog park isn't open but I'm sure it will be soon! read more

This place sucks. Recently moved out and was notified that one room had carpeting that needed replacement to which we agreed due to having pets. They are now trying to charge us for the living room carpet which isn't damaged in any way and probably wasn't new when we moved in. They will make things up as they go and blame the residents for issues that are normal wear and tear and steal your deposit. Don't be surprised when you don't get it back. read more

So I'll leave my other review up because that was flat out ridiculous. That being said, there are good things about this place. The maintenance staff seem to be very nice and quick. They just came in and knocked out most of a list of things needed. If something wasn't done right, they will send someone out to make sure it is. My ac bill is pretty low highest 120 within the hottest time of year. It's not glamorous but I'm not loosing my life savings to live lol. Pool is nice to have. The hot tube has honestly been so relaxing on days the word stressful won't be the right word to describe. Grills at pool are nice. Outdoor grills throughout the complex a plus. My kids love the park that's here and Kiwanis park is right down the street so absolutely awesome. Gym is minimal, though you have what you need to get the job done. It's back to old school with a few machines to get a full body workout which there isn't anything wrong with that. If you want fancy then pay for it. Apartment itself isn't bad. The appliances work pretty well and haven't had problems with them. Washer and drier are inside the unit which is a huge plus. My only real complaint is that it just seems dark in here. Which kind of sucks honestly. Though other than that I can't complain really. If it's up kept the place is nice. Admin side of things they seem to be better. More responsive. Nicer. Time will tell if it's true change, though I'll give a nice review for encouragement and acknowledgment that I do see the change and it's appreciated. Have had my car broken into probably more times than anyone here. So had to learn to lock my car even when distracted being a single parent of two toddlers. The security is more of a presence though I'm asleep during the late night hours so maybe they do more, idk. Other than that the place is not terrible by any means. I can tell they are improving so again, that's appreciated. I may try to move to a newer apartment within this complex so I can at least start a lease on a clean slate for once. Again the place is not bad especially if you don't have a crappy attitude about life or have a spoiled mentality wanting things you are not willing to put the work in to get or flat out pay for. This was the first apartment we rented and didn't move to any for close to 4 years. These are one of the few apartments which is that good. They have renovated from the time we moved and it keeps getting better. Trust me, the management is the best you can ask for. They are always helpful and so friendly. I have stayed here for so long and have never had a complaint. The apartments look so fresh and bright. They have washer drier separately which many apartments dont. They collect the package for you, they address you well and treat you good. The maintenance is top notch too. They are always up on their feet when you need them. I can rave about them for hours on how good they are. The apartment is close to everything be it the AZ mills or the Kiwanis park, you name it and you can find it. i will definitely miss staying here. this was my first apartment, i moved out last week. i read all the reviews and saw some nasty things but it looked nice enough and was within our budget so we decided to move here. i will say we had some issues but some of these reviews are definitely a little dramatic. to spare the gory details of my 14 months here i'll name the main issues we had here. the top of my list is that infesting bugs quite literally fell out of our air vents. we had carpet beetles and fabric worms that none of us had prior to living here so there is no chance we brought it with us. i work as a nail tech from home and there was a vent directly above my desk, where my clients would consistently have bugs falling out of the ceiling and landing on them. i also had an air vent directly above my bathroom sink, where i would find lots of bugs. not to mention there was ants in my bathroom and silverfish in my roommates bathroom. onto the next issue, i have a registered service dog that was a "restricted breed" (german shepherd) which is a pretty consistent issue renting anywhere but they never gave us problems for having her, however there were multiple other residents living in this complex that owned big, aggressive dogs and would walk them off leash. there was 2 people in specific that practically acted like they owned the dog park, and whenever i had my dog there i'd have to leave because these men would not control their dogs. there was also another woman that owned a doberman that got into multiple altercations with other dogs and with people. i'm assuming she lived in my building because it was almost always at the bottom of my staircase, i would hear her dog aggressively barking and growling at people, and it even attacked someone one time and hurt her badly. i understand peoples actions and lack of training for their pets does not fall on the complex, but if my dog is a restricted breed because they're scared of things like this happening they need to be more cautious of who and what animals are allowed there. next on my list is just that everything was extremely cheap. obviously you're getting what you pay for and i never had issues with roaches or rodents so that was nice, but for this being one of the more expensive apartments on baseline i expected a little more. the handles on almost all the cabinets fell off, the blinds fell down every single time we opened them, and the floor of the showers filled with water and you could feel water moving around every time you stepped on it. we received a paper to sign for our 60 day notice which we signed and sent back, the office must have lost it because we were getting bombarded with emails asking for our 60 day notice, which we ended up signing electronically and sending back. we were under the impression that our move out day was the 8th per our lease agreement, and nowhere on the 60 day notice did it say we needed to be out earlier than that. on the morning of the 7th we received an email saying it was move out day. when i emailed back and forth with nikki she was extremely rude about it and insisted we needed to be out and have our keys turned in by 5. we got everything out and deep cleaned the entire place. yesterday i received another email from nikki with an attachment for a $4000 bill for "damages". every time i saw someone moving out i saw them replace all the carpets and the stick on tile in every single apartment. the bill they sent us claimed there was damages to both and that we needed to pay full price to replace it. they are literally trying to make me pay to renovate the apartment for the next tenants. as well as other cheap things i've mentioned such as the blinds. when we first moved in there was a security team there, they literally just spread out and walked around the parking lot every night and would basically harass me, my roommates and any guests we had on if we've "seen anything suspicious". if you were at the pool 5 minutes after it closed they would yell at you. but i believe that was a third party company. however, when the apartment decided to get rid of that company they informed no one. i'm not the type to file noise complaints but this instance was so bad we couldn't sleep. i called the office phone number and directed to the security line and when they picked up i gave my name and apartment number just to have the man say they no longer serviced villagio, i let him know to call the office and have their number taken off the security line but it was never resolved, even after they hired a new security team. i ended up having to call the cops on that neighbor because the noise was truly unbearable. i will also say that the he majority of the office staff was very nice, respectful and professional. the maintenance staff was a little rude sometimes but as far as actual maintenance being done, they were always there same day and had the issue fixed within an hour. read more

My fiancé and I lived here just shy of a year. We were allowed to break lease early due to multiple safety issues. First to start, we had to switch apartments in the first two weeks of moving in after discovering black mold in our bathroom. Both of our cars have been broken into in less than a year. Lastly one of our neighbors, a convicted drug dealer had an altercation with a security guard. I won't go into detail up the people living out of cars in the back or the random traffic that peruses through parking lot at all hours of the day in night. By far though, the worst part about the Villagio is the staff. All the way up the chain, there is attitude of arrogance. It seems as though they are almost happy to explain exactly why they cannot help when needed and even happier to enforce the rules almost to the point of tyranny. For instance, while trying to return our keys this morning they would not unlock the office door for us until 11. Just to paint a clear picture here, our move out inspection was scheduled for 10am and completed by 10:15 but the office doesn't officially open until 11. The maintenance worker opened the office but the staff, who can be clearly seen working through window since 9am will not acknowledge us. They will stare at you through the open windows and pretend like they can't see you while responding to your emails however. If you want a safe, clean complex where you are not harassed by management this is definitely not the right place for you. If you don't mind rude condescending staff you'll feel right at home. read more

Nothing "luxury" aboit these apartments! South Tempe on Baseline Rd is the worst and least safe area ive ever lived! Homeless people right outside the gate, high crime area, I've heard gun shots at night, constant construction going on in front of apartments causing traffic jams, plumbing issues which caused water use, people don't respect your property especially neighboring vehicles, I was approached by gang members while swimming in the pool after work, it's evident that the management team does NOT do a thorough criminal background checks, neighbors smoking weed and cigarettes constantly making it difficult to enjoy the porch! Maintenance men are nice and respond quickly to apartment issues but thats all that I have to say that's positive about this place. read more

As a former resident of Villagio, I can't believe the amount of astroturfing this disingenuous business must be doing in the reviews here, since my experience as a (former) resident was quite to the contrary of MANY points I've read so far. Time to set the record straight. During my stay last year, I dealt with a main office that was by turns absent, then apathetic, then incompetent. Extremely poor maintenance and frankly ratty accommodations abound here; cheap countertops, cheap blinds, it's cheap all the way down here. Management doesn't care about standards of living or what kind of community they are building, just that it's done as cheaply as possible to raise profits. My apartment had several maintenance issues ON MOVE-IN (blinds messed up, carpet curling in corners, dishwasher power button non-functional). And yes, there were roaches. Not the most I've ever seen, but more than the average person would ever want to. At one point I actually witnessed one of the little bugs scurrying out from the apartment next to mine. In broad daylight! And while I didn't personally experience scorpions, neighbors agree that they are definitely out there too, crawling from one apartment into the next. Management isn't responsible for the location of the apartments per se, but that's bad too. This is a dangerous area, as any crime heat map will easily show you. Gunshots were heard on a regular basis, traffic to and from the highway onramp is unrelenting and noisy. The apartment campus is permeable to nearby foot traffic, and if you enjoy people-watching you won't lack for colorful characters right outside your windows and by the main mailbox. I was never robbed or assaulted, but did have someone follow me and observe me from the nearby gas station (I drive a distinctive work vehicle). I'm happy to report that while communication from the front office sucks in general, any message about any charges, passive-aggressive reminders about rules that you probably didn't break (but someone did, so you'll have to hear about it) and notifications about latest issue with water due to "repairs" are prompt and constant... if only because the problems are constant. Despite (or perhaps because of) this, dishonesty is part and parcel of how Villagio operates. Your pressing issues as a resident are always "being looked into" and "investigated" or "worked on" - assuming you can get ahold of anyone in the first place. Their rent payment portal Aptexx is extremely unreliable, and on at least two occasions caused me delays in paying rent; delays that were addressed and overcome by my initiative alone, I must repeat that the staff were of no help. Even now, almost a year after moving out, I have to deal with the malice and utter incompetence of this unprofessional, unprepared facility. After providing at best, "tolerable," living accommodations and "amenities" I decided not to renew my lease (despite multiple, kinda desparate reminders to do so). For my trouble, Villagio charged my roughly $800 for complete carpet replacement and $400 for a dishwasher THAT WERE BOTH DAMAGED AT MOVE-IN AND NEVER MAINTENANCED PER LEASE. Let it be said that, for the record, I did not damage the carpet nor the dishwasher during my time there (would have been difficult since the dishwasher "on" button was never functional during my stay), and if you are really curious message me and I'm happy to share the move-out photos as evidence with you. Bottom-line: nice location, but you can do so much better for the prices they are charging. Never underestimate how bad management can affect you even post-moveout; you are taking a big risk trusting your money and housing to these hacks. So if you are interested in paying top dollar for a ratty, poorly-maintained apartment in a rough part of town AND you would like to pay to upgrade your sub-par lodgings for the next resident who gets suckered in here, I would highly recommend it! The rental process was via phone and email and it seems that the staff is confused because they keep requesting the same thing over and over. We moved into a "luxury" furnished 2nd floor apartment Which faces the parking lot. Don't be fooled by the "luxury" term. Our apartment had the cheapest flooring and appliances on the market. We expected more for $2000 per month. cars with bad mufflers we're extremely annoying and the thumping loud music was disturbing At all hours of the day and night. The foot traffic from the residents above us was continuous. It got so bad we left for several nights and stayed at Homewood Suites. Owners of dogs failed to clean up after their animals on the grassy areas. The trash dumpsters were always overflowing. I spoke with agents from Pro One security who warned of cars being broken into and catalytic converters being being stolen. On the second night of my stay someone tried to steal my bicycle that was locked and "Joe" from security scared them away. It's no wonder, the security gate at the maintenance office was disabled for an entire weekend. When we called Monday morning the staff seemed surprised. read more

I am going on my second year at Villagio apartments. I had moved into the complex due to location and proximity to my job and my son's school. I have never regretted my decision. I am signing a new lease today and moving into a new unit. I am so excited to finally find a place that I can call home. I love the office staff, Layla and Selene are amazing. Not sure what is going on with the customer service here. The lack of professionalism here is absolutely disgusting. There is a male employee here, that either needs to be re-trained or fired, IMMEDIATELY! How could anyone with the right mind or a business owner, want someone like him, working for their company. He either goes by, or his name is, Santiago or something similar to it. Regardless, management needs to dial him in and take the necessary actions to do something about his work abilities and his poor demeanor. Called this place 3 times and only got an answer on the 4th try, a day later. On top of that, Santiago or whatever his name is, hung up on me & I ended up speaking with another lady, who was really kind. My biggest qualm with this place is that they don't give you a straight answer. They lie, they're lazy, they don't care about you at the least, and they seem to not be on the same page, when it comes to what is available to rent or not. Too overpriced for such bad service and disgusting apartment units. The owner needs to come investigate this place or sell it to someone who could better run it! I lived at the Villagio Apartments just shy of 2 years. For the most part, my experience was great with the exception of office staff not providing much empathy to general concerns every now and then. I would have given at least 4 stars had I not had an issue with them returning my security deposit back on time. I moved out 12/01/2016 and have yet to receive my deposit back. I've called office staff several times a day to inquire about this. I was advised that my calls would be returned yet they never were. I started to feel like I was being avoided/ignored. I even had to call from a completely different phone number at one point just to get someone to answer my calls. It is now 12/20/2016 and I still do not have my deposit back. To top it off, I really needed the money as I was moving out of state. All in all, I ended up having to just leave without it and currently fighting this issue remotely till this day. I moved in on 08/05/2011. 08/06/2011 We try to use the Washer and Dishware, Washer- Smells like the belt is burning and It will not spin so I stick my hand in there and make it spin, now it works very loudly. Dishwasher - Used for the first time and leaked water all over the place. This does not work. It is now 08/22/2011 and these issues have not been fixed. Around 08/14/2011 I found black ants in my Kitchen I called Maint and this was not resolved they cant come out until the weekdays because its not an emergency. Later that evening they were all over the floor I went to the store and purchased the raid and since than they have not been back. There are always kids running around doing out of this world retarded things like climbing on top of apartments or shooting bb's at windows. In addition there is a high crime rate in the complex as far as breaking into / stealing cars is concerned. Yet they have not hired a security company. I pay an additional fee monthly to live on the bottom floor that is Bull Thank GOD i am not handicapped. I don't have a microwave or a towel closet, the bathrooms are incredibly small. The Jacuzzi smells like sewage. The covered parking in near my unit is held up with two support beams one in the back and one in the front after clearing the beam in front my wife begins to turn the car and swipes the beam in the back (It was not damaged just a scrape) my car however is damaged and cost 1200$ to fix, however the points is when maintenance arrived on the scene one of them called the police. When the Tempe police officer arrived he told us that they were called because a drunk driver crashed into the covered parking area. whom happened to be my 6 month pregnant wife the maint worker was no where to be found in addition this is private property and the police officer couldn't do anything anyways he says. The other covered parking areas have 1 beam vs two beams which my wife and I are Accustom to. We have lived here for almost a year and all of the issues we have had have been cleared up nicely. We have had some appliances that have been sub-par and the complex replaced them with new and working models. The maintenance men are wonderful and always respond timely and do a nice job in fixing the problem. We like that there are 3 pools because there are a ton of kids so if the pool you are at gets overtaken by a mass of children, there are two more to choose from. The on-site gym is nice but if you wish to use it during non-office hours, you must pay a fee to do so which seems contradictory because it is advertised as free. This is common with any amenity you will find at this complex. Want a ceiling fan? There is a monthly fee. Want a screen on your porch so the pigeons do not flood it with poop? There is a monthly fee. Want to work out when the office is closed? There is a fee. The office hours are 11-6, M-F so that is not always convenient. Upon move in, residents are required to sign an agreement that says you cannot have marijuana on the property and that they may evict you even if they suspect it. I have found that this is not true as my neighbors have smoked outside, leaving there leftovers on our door step. I know other residents have complained about it and you can even smell it out by the covered parking when returning home. The free wi-fi connection is horrible so do not count on it for a reliable connection. All that being said, the office ladies are very friendly, competent and willing to help with any issue you may have. They have resolved any and all issues we have raised in a timely manner and the solutions are not temporary to where the problem persists in a few weeks or months. Stayed at villagio since October 2013 In a one bedroom apt, eventually moved to a 3 bedroom in 2014 then moved to a bigger 3 bedroom 2016. I guess that says a lot about how management treats us, we never considered moving to another apt complex we also had a friend move to villagio. I love how the leasing office knows us by name and not just a number. We had some troubles but is easily fixed as long as you let them know, they'll fix it immediately. I love how friendly Yolanda, Sarah and Pam is, our interaction is always good and they make us feel that they genuinely care, maintenance guys are friendly too, Mike and Javier, they're amazing. I think the only time will move out is once we buy our own house. I like the renovation. It's much more brighter. I lived here for two years, then came back after leaving briefly! While going to ASU this was the best deal for sure. When I had an issue with another resident (which was not at all normal and I made friends with many of my neighbors) they backed me up right away and were on my side. They made sure that I felt safe in the whole situation and accommodated my needs. Being listened to was really nice, and having someone be proactive about the situation was even better. read more

Honestly this is one of the best places I have lived. The maintenance is incredibly timely. The apartments are spacious and maintained incredibly well. All of the amenities are fantastic and wonderful to use. The office staff is always helpful and friendly, Layla the property manager is especially wonderful and friendly! I do continue to look forward to living here for the immediate future! read more

Have lived here for about 2 months in a ultra premium (renovated) 2 bedroom furnished apartment. We have really enjoyed the apartment: nice furniture, nice pool area, great (brand new) appliances, security always present! Only 2 complaints being the AC unit is SO LOUD! Like you can barely converse while it is on. Also, the free WiFi is horrible. Netflix won't load more than 4 minutes of a show, Facebook won't refresh, I had to get off WiFi to post this yelp... BUT looking into other WiFi services is only about $50/month and we will definitely be doing that in the coming month. Other than those two minimal complaints we are super happy with the price and the apartment! read more

4 year resident!! Been here for 4 years. Leaving because we are on the 3rd floor and wish to go to the first floor but the cost is a little much (which isn't their fault, it's the market and owners) . I've had my annoyances but people make mistakes and it's not really a big deal. Any concern I would take to Pam or Layla or Yolanda, and they would take care of it. Maintenance is good, they come and do what they can. Doesn't make sense to be mad because they can't fix something on your time in the middle of the night lol I haven't seen or heard fights, it's quiet. Security is useless, but that's all security guards. Worst part about this place are the residents that complain and break new stuff (like the tv in the pool area). Not sure where all these complaints come from. Pay rent on time and address any concern like an adult. You should be fine. read more

I just moved into Villagio apartments, coming from Oregon to Arizona. I was referred here by a sister property, because they had certain amenities I was looking for. Upon calling, Santana answered the phone and was quick to answer any questions and pull up availability even tho I was calling almost 1.5 months in advanced. He went over everything and I immediately applied once we hung up, Santana called me a couple hours later to let me know I had been approved! From that point on, he continued to maintain contact with me, and was timely on all responses. I was extremely stressed and anxious about finding an apartment out of state, but Santana handled everything. When it was time to get my keys, he had everything ready and it was like quickest most efficient move in day I had ever experienced. Upon move in there were minor things needing to be fixed, all done same day and quickly by their wonderful maintenance staff. I came from an apartment I wouldn't recommend to my worst enemy, to what I would consider luxury for sure. The apartment itself is well kept, clean, and offers several amenities. Although it's still early into my lease, I have a good feeling I will be resigning :) thank you to everyone at Villagio for making my move as easy as possible! read more

DO NOT LIVE HERE You will not get your deposit back when moving out I was told only my carpets needed to be cleaned and drip pans replaces after moving I received an invoice 657.48 saying that my entire 600 dollar deposit was going towards replacement of carpet and I still owe 57.48. Mind you I was never almost the entire time of the lease and the carpet barely had any thing on it. SCAM SCAM SCAM don't move here read more

I have been living in this community for 7 months and absolutely love it! I just renewed my lease for another 12 months! Santana from the leasing office was the one who helped me in the registration and paperwork. He was very professional and most of all, kind and helpful at all times. He made my move very smooth as he was always prompt to communicate and answered all my questions and concerns. Highly recommend!!! read more

It's an affordable apartment complex with great amenities. The front staff is the friendliest group of ladies you will ever meet. Great location near az mills and asu campus. The gym albeit small will get the job done. Only downside I have is that to have a 24 hour access to so said gym it's an additional fee. But if you can get in during leasing hours it's definitely worth it. read more

Extremely nice and helpful staff. If you have a problem they are usually there that day to fix it! Not a luxury apartment, but large bedrooms, fairly quiet, and they accept pets, which was a plus for us! A great place for us in between selling one house and buying another.
