The ref didn't give him a red card and let him threaten me. I took it to he league which they knew what happened and knew what he said and they told me they talked to him but he was still allowed to play and not get disciplined after what he told me a women. Then I showed proof and at the end the league ended up lying and said they never heard that from the player when the LEAGUE was the one that owned up to it! Don't play in this league they don't care about women in this league. They will allow a guy to tell you he's going to f*** you up. And won't do NOTHING about it. The league only cares about its money and not about others safety.

Its a well maintained artificial turf. * Pretty good equipment's (Goals and Lines) : Goals are metal ones, the field perimeters are well defined. * The match officiating is decent. * A good football community in FB group. Cons : * Overpriced : With the kind of money charged for the season they should be organizing this in a better way. There are major room for improvement when it comes to organizing the league. * There is no supply of soccer balls. Last time we were playing the game with the balls that we brought. 750$ registration and not able to provide 30$ worth soccer ball is kind of disappointing. Note** don't bring expensive ones because there are chances that you might end up losing them. * Be prepared for a lot of postponement in your fixtures. * Very lousy when it comes to scheduling and responding to emails, we still haven't received our complete fixtures for the season yet. I would still recommend it for the venue and the game experience.

Large basketball/multi use sports court inside, underground parking, decent outdoor space for vendors and stage space, and can hold a lot of people at once. There's seating inside and a really nice peaceful courtyard area with some rocks and a tree, perfect for cosplay photoshoots, though it does get pretty crowded for such an event. They have their open community days and other events too. For an event in June, surrounded by concrete, it did get super hot in there and the bathrooms weren't in the best state (LA and again the crowds), but it was a decent venue for a 1 day con.

We got lucky once a game ended and people left, but timing really matters here. Playground Setup (Great for Autism families) I loved that the playground is fenced in. As a mom to a child with autism, that alone made me feel more comfortable. The only downside is there are two entrances/exits, which kind of defeats the purpose. One exit would've made it feel much safer. Play Equipment (No Sand, Huge Win) No sand or wood chips, which was a big plus for us. There's a smaller slide for younger kids and a bigger slide in the same area, which works well if you have kids of different ages. Favorite Spot (The Swing Ride) Outside the fenced area, there's a really fun side to side swing that my son absolutely loved. There are two, but unfortunately one was broken during our visit. Swings (Could Be Better) Only two regular swings for bigger kids. I wish they had toddler or baby swings, especially for families with multiple age groups. Picnic and Extras There are picnic tables (we love picnicking at parks), a soccer field kids were using, and outdoor exercise equipment for adults. Restrooms (Not Great) I didn't use them, but both my sisters said they were very dirty. At least there are restrooms, but definitely not the highlight. Theme (Personal Preference) The playground is decorated with a Día de los Muertos theme. It's well done, but we don't celebrate it. Final Thoughts Overall, Lincoln Park is a nice park with some real pros, especially for families, but also some clear areas for improvement. With better parking clarity, cleaner restrooms, and a safer playground layout, it could easily be even better.

I was hoping to run on a trail of some sort but having checked out ALL the trails nearby previously, I knew I would have slim luck of finding one I liked. I decided a school track would be a good bet. This one was closest to me and although there was just one review saying it was open to the public, I bit the bullet and drove over. Street parking was easy enough. The track is a block over from the school and not openly visible from the street. Just walk towards the tennis and bball courts. All the gates were open! The field is turf so you don't have to worry about grass stains, and the track is rubber so it's pretty easy on the knees. If you're looking for a track, this one is a 5/5! Also a good place to shoot some hoops! *note: there are bathrooms but I don't think they're unlocked.

Anyway, our recent meetup was here, which was awkward for me because I always arrive early and she always late, and when you're an awkward person to begin with and happen to be at a playground with no kids, people will probably start to notice and wonder... So I sat in my car in the hot sun on the street (no shade or lot parking here) for 15 minutes before entering this relatively small park+playground. The park side is tiny and the terrain is lumpy on purpose. Great for dogs or small humans running up hills their sizes. There is outdoor exercise equipment, picnic tables but no bathrooms. The playground itself seems typical - got the tiny kid structure and a bigger kid structure, net tunnel, slides, climbing bars, etc. that held up the weight of fully grown adults trying to pick off their kids (Sidenote: I usually take a ton of photos but because it was so crowded with minors, I thought I better not...) There is a large merry-go-round, which you don't see much of in LA or in modern times. I know because I have been to like 5 playgrounds in the last few months. That makes me an expert, dude. It was really busy on a Sunday...funday for the kids, and it's free, so parents can't complain. The park/playground seems relatively clean and new, at least the plastic equipment hasn't shown its age yet. Upon research, I have come to know that this park was completed in December 2012. Overall, cool little park if you have dogs/kids and happen to live in the area or if your friend makes you meet her here.

Played soccer here on past Sundays with a team on a league. There is a really small parking lot in…read morefront of the Rec Center for the basketball gym so I am guessing it's only if you are going into the gym. Parking here is a bit of a challenge as it's in a residential neighborhood. You are competing with people that live here and other soccer players for a space on the street. Luckily I have found a parking spot each time. The soccer field is set up over two baseball diamonds back to back. So two soccer fields side by side. The grass area has a lot of up and down with holes or dips while running across the field. I'm really surprised no one has twisted am ankle. The gate is open towards the rec center so I went to look for a restroom. The only advice I can give any reader at this point. If you don't have to go, hold it and wait until your next destination. Worse than the public bathrooms at the beach.
