Located off Los Angeles St in LA. This place is very nice and pretty big. They have a gym as well for basketball. Tonight there was an event held called Straight Outta Little Tokyo 5 this event is the 5th one out together. They have food vendors, vendors selling things, a car show, special appearances, dj's and short concerts. This one was a special one since they honored our fraternity brother who passed away last year he was a big part of the previous 4 events helping out and taking care of the Doughball game booth. It was great seeing my old frat brothers and friends from the college days always like a mini reunion at these events. Overall this place is very nice.

The Terasaki Budokan fills a void in this part of town. Mostly a recreation center, it also doubles as a gathering place for the local neighborhood. LTSC spearheaded the campaign for many years to raise funds and go through the lengthy approval process. From the community's viewpoint, a place to bridge different generations as well as welcome all people from the local community was severely needed. The result is a clean, safe and convenient space for athletic events, martial arts events, performances and more. A 55-car underground parking lot is also available. On a recent Sunday, we had the chance to visit and watch a family member's basketball game. Covid safety protocols were in place (took temperature, checked vaccination card). Keep in mind that although the facility is technically considered Little Tokyo, it's in an area that may be unfamiliar...right next to LT Branch Library and near the Doubletree Hotel (formerly New Otani Hotel). This is a wonderful addition to the area and no doubt that it will bring more visitors and foot-traffic to this part of the area.

One of the cleanest gyms I've ever played basketball and volleyball in. It has decent parking, and beautiful environment overall inside.

The place is small which contains many of the much admired design features found in the most lavish of Japanese-style gardens of its era. As Kendall Brown states in his book, California Japanese-style Gardens, "this is the genius of Kinzuchi Fujii: this was once a flat area of two tennis courts; now it is a masterwork. 1) Classic Niko-an Teahouse, the garden landscape offers a variety of other beautiful details. 2) Numerous gathering points, seating areas & vistas 3) Four original bridges plus the original cedar log Japanese Waiting Bench 4) Two large interconnected, irregularly shaped koi ponds 5) The sounds of two waterfalls, one cascading down a 25-foot hill 6) An artful dry riverbed for rain overflow winding through the garden 7) Cooling shade everywhere from spreading sycamores & old oaks 8) Many tons of boulders & stones 9) Granite statuary & stone lanterns Storrier Stearns Japanese Garden For Thought: Wouldn't mind coming back to re-center myself. I did a have nice time.

Perfect hike for a hot day…read more I love waterfall hikes and listening to the sound of calm, running water. The added challenge on these hikes is the multiple stream crossings. I brought some hiking poles which helped with balance and probing for loose rocks and logs. If you want to get parking in the lower lot, it's best to come before 8AM. We found parking in the second lot. An Adventure Pass or Day Pass is required. Parking is enforced. A car received a ticket for being in a No Parking zone. The start of the trail is nicely shaded. The second half is a hilly, narrow, sun exposed path which routes back into the canyon toward the Lower Switzer Falls. I'm glad they had fencing on some narrow and steep parts of the trail. We encountered an active rattlesnake which headed down the mountain, so be on the lookout. Overall, the hike takes about 3 hours for 5.5 miles. The additional hike back up to the parking lot was about 1/4 of a mile. Note: if you need to use the restroom, it's best to bring your own toilet paper and to go before you start your hike. It was kind of smelly, but if you gotta go... you gotta go.

This place is great for fully appreciating nature! The trail is around 5-5.5 miles round trip,…read moredepending on where you park. What impressed me most about this trail is that it's almost fully covered by shade. We went in the late afternoon, and I'd say probably 80-85% of it is covered. Very impressive! Here are some useful tips: 1. There are three parking lots: two are next to the highway, and one is near the hiking entrance. I'd recommend getting a parking pass if possible. 2. There are only three restrooms at the beginning of the trail, so use them when you see them. 3. If you're aiming to go to the waterfall, make sure to look for the signs. Some signs aren't very clear, so we had to stop and ask other hikers frequently. Luckily, people there are super friendly and happy to help. Just pay attention to your surroundings. 4. The trail is dog-friendly, but dogs must be on a leash. 5. Waterproof hiking boots are recommended. All in all, it's a fun trail. It's a great place for a picnic and camping, and it's very close to the stream. Great for kids, families, and pets!

I had called about a week ago in search for a rpm q2 paddle and they told me that they sold out, I asked them could they let me know whenever they come back in stock. Jackson was the person that I spoke with on the phone, and he gave me his personal experience with different paddles and it set and stone made me want the one I got. A week goes by, they tell me that they finally got it in stock and I immediately picked up that same night. I told them I got off at 930, and it would take me about 20 min to get there. Most places would turn me away because they're closing, but this place waited for me and allowed me to make the purchase. Thankfully, Jackson put overgrip on my new paddle and I'm ready to play. The inside of the shop was beautifully built and so bright inside. So many different options, pickleball padle. They told me they offer lessons for their sports. This place will be my go to shop when it comes to pickleball needs. Once again, thank you Jackson and the owner for having excellent customer service
