I don't live or work in Carrollton anymore but I go out of my way to get my hair done at Indulge. Tracey is great! We worked together on creating a custom color to dye my hair since I didn't like the swatches. She is so friendly and always makes sure I like my cut. She also did my hair for my wedding and I've never loved my hair more! I never thought I'd be the person spending more than $20 on a haircut but it is completely worth it at Indulge. I've also gotten a couple of massages and they were wonderful. The spa upstairs is so calm and relaxing! read more

Took my s/o for his first massage. We did a couples massage. When booking, they made sure I was ok with having a male masseuse, and I was. Upon arrival, we were instructed to fill out our information and then go upstairs to wait. The facility was clean and welcoming. Once the massages started, the male who did mine stretched out my legs, and then proceeded to massage my back and shoulders THE ENTIRE TIME. I am incredibly disappointed that he didn't massage my arms, hands, neck, or legs. When I flipped over, he only massaged the front of my neck. Throughout the entire time, he was continuously talking. This was supposed to be relaxing and stress-free.... and not only did his talking interrupt my massage, but it distracted my partner in the same room as well. He stated that it was hard for him to completely relax because the guy working on me was continuously talking. Telling me about stretches, asking how I sat at my desk at work, what was the last exercise I did at the gym, what kind of cardio do I do.... It was just too much. He was very nice, just talked too much for the setting. My s/o said that his massage by a female was wonderful and that the only down fall was that my guy wouldn't quit talking. We decided that we won't be back. It was too expensive to not have gotten what we expected. read more

I have been to Indulge for a massage before when I moved to the Carrollton area. I absolutely LOVED the spa, but didn't really enjoy my therapist that time. He was way too talkative and while I always love good convo and explanations of my physical needs, I didn't plan to attend a physical therapy session. I decided to go back because I got a 20% off coupon for my birthday from Indulge (cool perk!). I called a few hours before, asking if I could push back my appointment until 7pm and they were extremely accommodating. I had Amy as my massage therapist. She was AMAZING! She is exactly what I need in a regular therapist. I have constant neck, shoulder and lower back pain. I let her know in the beginning and she was so attentive to my needs and problem areas. She had really DEEP pressure which I love! Amy used a really nice heating pad for my back and warm towels for my feet. I love the extra care I felt from her. She also seemed to really enjoy her job. Do NOT do nails here. Several poor experiences, almost like they are training or do not care about outcome. Massage and spa treatments are nice for the area of Carrollton. Alice offers cupping which I may try later on. My prenatal massage was very relaxing and she went more easy than I would have liked, BUT I am six months pregnant so I am guessing that's why. I will be going back to the cheap shopping centers I always have for pedicures and manicures. Worst pedi/mani I've EVER gotten. The foot massage was literally 10 seconds if that... and the "scrub" on my heels? Nothing. Needed it bad too. So disappointing. Also, the chairs aren't even real massage chairs. They bought those massagers you put on top of the chairs. It was loud with other people in a small room. Not relaxing at all. Nothing like a "spa"... I should have known to not go when I called and asked about the services and the girl didn't even know the services and couldn't answer simple questions about the services. Won't be back. I scheduled a signature manicure and pedicure at Indulge when I was in town for my little sister s graduation. Overall, I really liked Indulge. The girl doing my nails (Sarah was her name, I believe) was incredibly nice and attentive. The facilities were really clean, and I liked the relaxing music they played. Whenever I'm back in town, I'll be sure to stop by Indulge when I'm looking for a quality mani and pedi. read more

I've been going to this spa for ages and used to love it! The services are excellent and the prices can't be beat. However, this longtime customer will NOT be back. The last few times I've visited, the aestheticians have been incredibly unpleasant. Even if I were a lousy tipper, which I'm NOT, there would still be no excuse for this poor customer service. I've been pointedly ignored by more than one employee and have had two manicurists blatantly roll their eyes at me when I've dared to initiate a conversation. These were not isolated incidents. According to other customers and my own experience, it seems to have become the norm among Indulge employees. I was taught that feeling relaxed and pampered is part of what you pay for with a spa experience. In the case of Indulge, I'd settle for not being treated like a Jehovah's Witness with bad breath. read more

Today ,I went for the Deluxe Hot Lava Pedicure. It was amazing! The staff was very welcoming and friendly. My daughter and I were taken back quickly and thoroughly enjoyed the relaxing atmosphere. Very reasonably priced spa (and for students even better!). The staff is friendly and the services have yet to disappoint. The facility is beautifully decorated and certainly puts you in the mood for relaxation. The only downfall is, since this is an old house turned spa, that the floors are really loud and creak if anyone walks heavier than a tiptoe. This can really snap you out of the zone during a massage. Also, the relaxation area is quite nice although it would be helpful (and more relaxing) if the ladies at the front desk kept their voices down as noise carries very easily up the stairs. I have been to the spa several time always had a good experience. Everyone there is very friendly and professional. I wanted to give the salon a try but was always worried it was going to be very expensive. It is competitive with its pricing for a quality experienced stylist. So not a budget buster like I feared. I have seen stylist Brooklynn several time she is awesome after my haircuts my hair always lays great. And she listens and will extend on some ideas I have about my hair, which I love. I get nervous meeting new people but I immediately felt at ease with her. Indulge definitely has my business. read more

Received a gift certificate for a spa package which I used today. The package included a 55 min massage, facial, mani/pedi, wash/style, and lunch. I didn't really want the facial so I asked if I could get a haircut instead which they sweetly swapped for me. The massage was bliss! My haircut is super cute and exactly what I wanted. I went here for a hair cut, and I paid a lot for it, for this area. I paid $45, for an "experienced" stylist. And I've had better cuts from places that charged me $20. I have thick hair, and I got layers, which is what I always get. The stylist cut so much of my hair at the shortest layer length that I look like a mushroom. This is the worst hair cut that I've ever had. I will not be able to wear my hair down for months, until it grows out enough not to look like a mushroom. And there's no fixing this, I've already considered that. I regret ever stepping foot in that place. read more

I used to be a huge fan of indulge. When I started there they had a wonderful massage therapist named Candace that was the best. After she left, I haven't found a single person that compared. My last massage there was with someone who talked more than she massaged. Jamie is the best at waxing but unfortunately an experience in the hair salon will prevent me from ever spending another $ there. I really miss her. I went in for a complete color & foil. The 2 stylists I had used before, Stacy & Ashley, had no bookings so I went with someone new. I came in armed with a photo of EXACTLY what I wanted. Stacy had done my color on the previous trip & told me what she did would be on file for my next visit. This was not the case. There was no record of Stacy ever doing my hair. Even though I had the date & time they wanted to argue. I should have went with my gut & left when the stylist kept bringing swatch after swatch & going to ask someone else for help. I made the mistake of staying. 3 hours & $170 plus tip later I left with great highlights & the exact brown & gray roots I came in with. I called back to speak with a manager ( first time I have ever complained) . Turns out it was the owner on the phone who basicly told me she didn't really believe me & IF what I said was true I had also been overcharged. Had me come back in to look at it the next day. When I arrived the owner came over & said " I want to verify this myself to the stylist" looked through my hair & walked off. Not a single word was spoken to me at all. The new stylist " fixed" the roots. What I ended up with was a single process color with none of the highlights & low lights I paid for. The fix was free ( except the tip I paid the new stylist for her time) & I was refunded the $40 I had been overcharged. While they sort of did the right thing by fixing my hair, the treatment I received from the owner regarding it cemented that I would not return. Prior to this I was using Indulge for makeup, massages, waxing and had purchased 5 gift certificates for friends or family. I work too hard for my money to be treated like a problem. I now drive to Villa Rica for a spa that treats customers like they matter to get massages & waxing & give another salon my hair business. read more

Terrible customer service. Had to go twice for my hair- first time job was rushed and they didn't even dry my hair. When I went back for the redo they didn't listen or fix it then the manager called me a liar and hung up on me when I tried to explain my problem- and I wasn't even asking for anything, just trying to let them know there was an issue. Let's just say that around 6 hours and two different trips to the salon and my hair still looked awful. Wouldn't ever go again! read more

Had a delux manicure and pedicure here before my wedding. The actual massage position of the treatment was fantastic and the lady that did my service was very friendly and seemed good. I did gel polish on my nails and did regular polish on my toes, and BOTH my fingernails and toenails had to be redone within hours of my original services. The polish did not stick to my nails at all, and I had to pay to have them redone by another salon. When I went back to the salon the following day for my hair and makeup to be done, I complained to the manager about the situation and she did nothing for me. She would not even offer a simple 10% discount on my hair and makeup. I spent $132 for my manicure and pedicure at indulge, and then had to follow it up with a $50 manicure and polish change at another nail salon. For the prices they charge, it was 100% not worth it. And the customer service was horrible. I do think the employees were incredibly friendly and did all they could do, but the manager lost all my respect and I will not be going back. read more

Went here for a massage and it was pretty good...went back for hair coloring and had an awful experience, after them initially not booking the correct appointment I walked out with wet hair. When it dried at home and the color wasn't right they deigned to correct it but then still did not fix the entire head. Later the owner was very rude and said she personally witnessed my being happy with the job they did and that I was a liar, the bad part was she didn't even know what day I'd been in so her story was obviously false...sad that a small town has people who don't care about repeat happy customers! read more

I scheduled an appointment/reservation to use this groupon on Saturday Feb. 13th over the phone about 3 weeks ago. I received a voicemail about a week back saying that I would need to reschedule. What is the point of a reservation, if I need to reschedule? I bought this as a Valentine's Day present for my girlfriend. I called back and spoke to a different girl at the desk who promptly told me she was unaware of why I would need to do this and that I can absolutely be seen on my original date. I was pleased. Well the dissatisfaction and awareness of Unprofessionalism set in when I got another called today, 3 days prior, that I would still need to reschedule. Seriously? The girl gave me attitude and with no appology said that a Tuesday date was available. She didn't even try to retain my business and simply told me to contact groupon if I want my money back.
