I have used Indulgence for a while now. It was quite astounded. By the way I was treated just the other day. I have been using Tara as she does a really good job on short haircuts and is usually very business like and enjoyable however, weeks ago I canceled an appointment via voicemail not realizing that I needed to keep a record so her policy is you pay $20 when you book the appointment and that goes towards your total cost of whatever you're having done so I realized I would be out $20. I was OK with that. If you do not cancel you're out the 20 and whatever the cost of your hair appointment was gonna be I didn't think I needed to worry about that because I had done my due diligence yesterday. I noticed there was a 50 some odd charge on my debit card so I thought well that's weird. I'm sure it was a mistake so I called left her a voice message and she pretty much didn't wanna talk to me or refuse to talk to me and continue to use text message. I find it very odd that a professional would only use text message to conduct business. It's very hard to communicate that way and have a conversation so I explained the situation to her and she pretty much said that's not what happened but had no proof that that's not what happened and wouldn't fix my situation so I had to take alternate routes. I hate this because I really like this Salon and I hate that she lost a customer and I hate that I no longer have a relationship with her but fair warning one can appear one way and then do a total switch when it comes to certain situations and that in itself is bad business it's bad for the consumer. it's bad for the Salon she's representing. It is just simply bad so I have moved on as there are plenty of good hairstylist in this world that are good business women and do a good job all the way around so that I don't have a problem, but I'm just wanting to warn the general public that if you do have a problem with her, it's not gonna end good with you even if you are in fact, right also beware of waiting times I have waited on her time and time again and never complained always tipped and just figured that's just business. I went for a wash and trim in my already short hair and the girl did not have idea of what she was doing asking me all time if this or that was okay to finally wrongly chop my hair. At the end I had to ask her to please "clean" my neck of the peach hair and gave me few cuts on my neck so now it stings horrible! Ok, the cherry on top was when she did not even offer some wax or gel to quick style it before leaving. Honestly I love buying products at salons, but come on, sell me! Yet the dream team of Brittney Schoessel (facialist extraordinare) and Emily Johnson (hairstylist extraordinaire) managed to salvage not just one but both appointments for me. I managed to mess up both of their busy schedules and the two of them managed to send me out of the salon feeling beautiful, special and as though I had done nothing wrong. My family just recently moved to the area and I walked in desperately needing to get my brows waxed and they immediately greeted me and sat me in a chair right away! My brows were not in good shape when I arrived and my technician was so sweet and she got me my shape back in no time! My brows look awesome, and the whole process in and out was only about 10 minutes which was amazing. Whitney Goodall is a great stylist and excellent colorist. I highly recommend her! Over all the salon is a clean and friendly environment. The only thing holding me back from 5 stars is that it is pretty crowded and kind of cluttered. I'm not sure if they need more space or just need Tabitha to come in and stream line things. Whitney is the only stylist I've used (because she does a great job!) but in watching the others they all seem to do great work. read more

I texted her twice to see if she could help me add some highlights. Nothing. Texted her again. Nothing. Then I texted back telling her I had to spend $100 to fix what she had done. Still, nothing. 4 stars: I just bought a groupon deal for a haircut, deep conditioning and blowout with Amber Jones and was able to schedule an appointment for today! Yay! so excited. will update when completed. ***Update: September 20th **** If you're thinking of buying a groupon with Amber Jones, I would suggest meeting her first... You might re-consider... So, I originally had an appointment on Thursday but Amber called me to reschedule for today (Friday). Friday comes around. I had a busy week and thought it was at the same time as the original time but Betty, the secretary called to tell me otherwise. She was very sweet! Anyway, I started heading over when I got a call from Amber Jones and she was just downright intense. I could feel her anger. She was very annoyed that I got confused with the time. To make matters worse, there was traffic and when I got closer, my mapquest GPS got confused. According to my mapquest, their address doesn't exist. Anyway, I talked to Amber another time and she was just so short and unfriendly. She was acting like she was my boss and was about to fire me or something. haha. I can honestly say that i was having a wonderful friday until i had this experience with Amber. Needless to say, I cancelled and plan to get a refund. I don't have time for angry people... It's just unnecessary stress. Why would I go out of my way to pay someone to do my hair if I feel uncomfortable with them? She was really just unfriendly and not the typical bubbly, sweet hairstylist experience I'm used to... In all fairness to Amber Jones, today and yesterday were my only experiences with her and maybe she was just having a terrible week. Plus, I know that selling services through groupon can be overwhelming... I wish Amber good luck but I won't be back. read more

i fully understand that ea. hairdresser is their own contractor "and" makes their own prices but, when u do "less than" what i expected then, to fix my hair the hairdresser wanted to charge me again = is dead wrong !!! ive dealt with another shop that if i called id "at-least" get a price idea you will n=o=t stay in business in hermitage for long if you charge the prices you do. its outrageously expen$ive & this is "not" green hills !!! the prices show 2 dollar signs for this shop & in the chair when you are finished its 4- $$$$$. read more
